Hi Everybody! I was nervous about today's 5 mile run, but discovered it was not as difficult as I thought. My legs are quite tired though. For the last half mile, I really had to push. I am so happy to have this daily check in. You guys are really motivating and it is comforting to know...

    August Rotation Check In, 08/06/05

Hi Everyone! Imax 3 was challenging for me today. My squat thrust climbers were really pathetic, but I managed to do all 20 while huffing and puffing. Have a great weekend. Lisa

    August Rotation Check In, 08/05/05

Before doing todays workout, I thought about adding in 30 min of cardio, but decided against it because of Imax 3 tomorrow. My legs have been slightly sore with this rotation and I know with tomorrow's workout they will be jelly. I'm trying to figure out how I am going to run 5 miles. The...

    August 05 Rotation Check In...Aug 4th

Hi Everybody, My inner thighs were sore when I woke up this morning, so 6" step height was enough for me. Whenever I do Imax 2, I get hollow nervous feeling in the pit of my stomach when I reach intervals 5 and 9. I found coremax to be a challenge this morning. I was actually sweating...

    Imax 1 funny

I have a confession. I would have loved having my hair styled like that at that time. I had a thing for shorter hair during the 90's.

    MIC

For a challenging cardio workout, you definitely need to get this one. Get the dvd that way you will have Imax and Rythmic Step as well (both are get workouts). MIC is one of my favourite workouts.

Hi Everybody, Got through another day. Yipee. This was my second time doing Imax. For some reason, I always thought it was more difficult than the other Imaxes. It's tough, but I made it through. After the first 100 lunges I was wondering how I was going to get through another 100, but I...

    August 05 Rotation Check In???

Body Max fries me on its own, but I managed to pull out 200 jumping jacks and was rewarded with shakey legs. After finishing the upper body and the 40 push ups, I don't think I will be doing my hair today. Today is a good day to wear a hat.

Has Anyone Successfully Played a Practical Joke on ...

On my husband's birthday, I attached a sign to the back of his car that said "IT'S MY BIRTHDAY. HONK AND SHAKE YOUR FIST AT ME." Good thing he doesn't have road rage. Plus it didn't take him long to figure it out when I started laughing after a few people doing it. I'm not a very good prankster.

    Women at the gym

Recently, I have not found a good supportive sports bra. Bouncing breasts distracts me from the workout, so I use my old nursing bras. They hold them in nicely.

Why, Madam, your moustache is lovely.....

There's an East Indian technique called threading that works really well. The hair is pulled in a fashion that is a cross between waxing and plucking. Basically thread is used to twist multiple hairs around and then yanked. Unlike waxing there is no skin removed which causes the redness and...
