Anyone ever break a foot or toes?

It's been a long time since the accident so I have healed as much as I am ever going to. I was warned of deterioration in as little as 5 years but that hasn't happened yet. They said I would probably have to have my heels fused eventually. We'll see. 8.5 years later and I can run and jump just...

Anyone ever break a foot or toes?

I had both of my heels shattered in 2009. I now have 2 plates and 12 screws in each heel. After the accident they were going to amputate both of my feet but found a surgeon who thought he could save them. And I am forever grateful to him. It was long recovery. I was in a wheelchair for 4 months...

    Barlates body blitz subscription

Hi Laura, I haven't done any of her 100 rep challenges yet (though I plan to soon). Mix and Match HIIT is great for intense cardio + conditioning. Same with Full Body HIIT Series. And they are the perfect length for use as add ons. Another great one I use for add ons a lot is 5 Best Exercises...

    Barlates body blitz subscription

BTW--though I love barlates and cardio barre workouts, I would never personally do them exclusively. I do think they very nicely supplement heavier strength work and I love using the cardio barre/metabolic workouts for my cardio. A lot of her cardio barre workouts are low impact, which is a bonus.

    Barlates body blitz subscription

nckfitheart2009--There is a lot I love about Linda's workouts--tons of variety. She does everything--cardio barre, mat work, bands, resistance loops, traditional weights, kettlebells. Though I like all of her workouts, my favorites are her cardio barre workouts. A good example is Mix and Match...

    Barlates body blitz subscription

Thanks ladies! The best part about Linda is that she has so many free workouts--so enabling is a good thing, right? (even tho I have spent a lot money buying her workouts in spite of the 100s of free ones available on YouTube....)

    Barlates body blitz subscription

I love Linda's Barlates workouts and have gone a little crazy--both with her free YouTube workouts and hoarding her DVDs. The link above (Ally Yo's post) is just the free YouTube Barlates workouts I've done. This link https://2lazy4gym.com/category/trainers/linda-wooldridge/ is...

How many of you are pre-ordering Fit Split?

I pre-ordered the day it posted. I usually pre-order everything Cathe creates but I passed on all of the Fit Tower stuff.

Starting STS - 1RM testing question

I started my 1RM testing about 3 weeks in advance and I did 5-6 a day. I started 4s & 5s and also did some 3s. The rest I used my best judgment when I did the workout then plugged my numbers into the 1RM after the workout. If you use Workout Manager for your STS workouts (scheduling them on the...

Pre-Order Cathe's New Fit Split Workouts

So glad! I was afraid the Fit Tower was all she was doing this year and I passed on that. I just ordered!

    Need to vent a little.....

That was supposed to say 'Thank you"--but it appears my reply disappeared! I just now noticed it!

I've put together several. Scroll to the bottom of this page and there are 3 Cathe Live only rotations and one where I mixed Cathe Live w/ DVDs.

Can you give me some suggestions?

My husband bought it for me for my birthday. He pre-ordered it tho, which was a special website at the time, but still through Rodale. I have his Meta Shred 21 which is also a great program and his DeltaFit Speed Shred which I haven't done yet. I ordered them both directly from Rodale.

Can you give me some suggestions?

I have to agree with others. EBE2 are some of the hardest lower body workouts I have ever done. And they are no fun! But they definitely do the job. I prefer Cathe, too, Nathalie, and she does have her own brand of brutal lower body workouts (I did my Butts & Guts blender mix this morning and my...

    Need to vent a little.....

Like everyone else, I just do my own thing, but it does limit other things we do together (like bike riding--we hardly do that at all anymore). And I mostly quit nagging except for stretching/therapy for his chronic back problems (as soon as his back is better, he quits doing them--I try to get...

    Need to vent a little.....

OMG--these are the exact same things my husband says. According to him, my DOMS means I am hurting myself and overdoing it!

    Need to vent a little.....

Sounds like my husband. He strongly believes that his body does not react like other peoples to exercise because he consistently gets nauseous when he exercises. Yet he did Body Beast for 9 months a few years ago until a back injury stopped him. Now he starts exercising for a few days and quits...

Video Clip of Cathe's Legs With Weights & Barre Live Workout

huh! I haven't! Once again--I thought I'd done just about everything. How did I miss that? Ha! Thanks for pointing it out. I am adding it to my to-do list now!

    Let's talk books!

I recently discovered Joe Hill and love his books. The Fireman was wonderful. I am reading his 20th Century Ghosts right now and am enjoying that, too. Horns was good but not as good as The Fireman. He's Stephen King's son btw.
