    Who is the hottest actor?

Vincent D'onofrio is SMOKIN'! I have a very personal and intense but one-sided relationship w/Bobby Goren. But don't tell my fiance. ;-) I also can't leave out Johnny Depp - he will always hold a special place in my bed - ehm, I mean heart!

    HURRICANES, TSUNAMI'S AND SNOWSTORMS...WHAT NEXT

Ahh... Turks and Caicos... I was there (Grand Turk) last year and it sure was nice! We had perfect weather. Bring your SPF and enjoy. :-)

    HURRICANES, TSUNAMI'S AND SNOWSTORMS...WHAT NEXT

I am certain that the destruction from a hurricane or a tsunami far surpasses that of excessive snow. I had to shovel a foot of snow this weekend, but I still have my home (in tact), clean drinking water, plenty of food, and the snow will melt within a few weeks. This is more than most of...

    Diane Sue - OMG!

Not only is she gorgeous, but she is incredibly gracious as well. There was a time a while back when many people on this forum (myself included - hanging my head in shame here) doubted that anyone could look that fantastic! We were all so very wrong and I can’t even understand how I could...

    Pop Tarts

Trans fats Hi Cathy, I've heard both sides of the trans fat stories when it comes to Pop Tarts, but one source (linked below) says that there are 1.4 grams. Now, it doesn't specifically say Kellog's brand Pop Tarts, so maybe it depends on the brand? http://www.umm.edu/features/foods.html

    Pop Tarts

Yes, sugar! But are they ever tasty... I'm with the poster who said "everything in moderation." I wouldn't say I'll never eat one again, but I don't buy them. Pop Tarts are also an offender when it comes to trans fats (chemically altered fatty acids). I think it's only like 1.5 gr trans fats...

    Cathe-Are you recognized........?

LOL, DebbieH - it's true! She's even smaller off-screen :-). I was lucky enough to get the chance to have a class and then dinner with Cathe and Brenda, as well as Deb(Fitnessgoddess) an Francine from the boards here. Cathe and Brenda were both very sweet and down to earth. What struck me the...

Would you or did you ?

I am marrying a man 3.5 years younger than me, so I obviously have no problem with it. He keeps me young. :-)

    tricks of the trade

Good idea Jes! I use salt to absorb spilled wine on carpet. Before you blot, or rub or do anything, just go nuts and pour on the salt. It will draw a good portion of the wine up into it. Suck it up (but don't use your vacuum cleaner unless you want red salt falling out all over the place...

Where will you be/or be doing NYs Eve?

I'm so happy to see that I'm not the only "homebody" on NYE... I just don't like to be out on the road that night. I will be celebrating with my fiance, probably with a bottle of wine and some homemade calzones. ;) It will be just the two of us ringing in 2005, the year in which we'll be...

Donna - I love that line too! In fact I have that soundbyte as the "Windows Opening" sound on my pc. :-) Editing to clarify - I'm referring to the Princess Bride line!

    HardCore by Jan?

There are more workouts this time around which will likely increase the time it takes to author, edit and produce the discs. But remember that there will be no VHS for them to produce, which will save some time too. I'm betting on January...

    Why do you workout?

Hi Sandra - what a great thread you've started. When I finally "got serious" about exercising around the age of 26, it was most definitely to lose weight. Between that time and this my 30th year, my reasons for working out have certainly expanded... they include in no particular order: 1...

    ETA for Hardcore series

Of course, there will be no VHS production this time around which could save time. On the other hand, there are TEN dvds this time! I'm hoping for January.

    DVD converter box

I have only one spot on my tv to plug anything in and it's already was already in use when I bought my dvd player. The box they gave me at Circuit City to to hook the DVD video feed up to my tv was called a "converger." Don't understand it, but it works.

    Favorite Cathe sayings

HSTA during the first cardio section... "Power 15, no fast foot... oh thank you!" She is just too cute when she says that.

    Where did summer go??

Yes, the summer did zoom by... in the blink of an eye. The other day I found myself looking at a pair of sandals I own and thinking "I'm going to wear those a lot more this summer, they're really cute." And then HELLO! Um, summer's nearly over! Wierd. But I do love the Fall. It is my...

    Very O/T- Modern Weddings

Hi Nancy, I applaud you on having a "rule breaking" wedding! I'm sorry I don't have any advice for you on this one, it seems everything I've read about invitation etiquette has been stated here already. I just wanted to share; I am 30 and getting married in April. I have no desire to...

If you could visit anywhere in the world?

I always wanted to go to Ireland and finally made it over a few months ago - absolutely beautiful! And the people are fantastic there, we met so many cool people. I've also always wanted to see Italy and my fiance and I will be going there for our honeymoon in April. Scotland...
