    What size stability ball?

I am 5'5" and have a 65 cm ball. I wish I had gotten a 75cm even though it says it is for 6' people. However, my knees feel too high with 65cm. Cathe and crew seem to use a fairly large ball and they are 5'2". So who is to really say? All I know is that next time I get a ball, I am getting...

    Omaha NE

I wondered if there were some other nebraskans or omahans on this forum. I am surprised to find I actually recognize run_diggity as a regular poster. Who knew you were so close to me? LeAnne

    "Where does the weight go?"

RE: Well if you are serious, I think the answer to your question is the weight "goes" by changing the size of your fat cells. You always have the same number of fat cells, they change size and so do you. I believe I learned this in the cathe calendar somewhere. I could be wrong.

Reflections on the 4 Day Split

I would just like to throw out another point of view: I didn't find the choreography challenging enough. I viewed the workout, did it once, and by the second and third time I was doing the workout flawlessly. This workout is FUN!, but I just wished it would have stumped me a little longer...

For those planning to get married

My husband planned our entire destination wedding (Hawaii), which was very small and uncomplicated. He found ideas on the internet, ran them by me, and booked stuff. It was awesome! My wedding was really simple, but so cool and carefree. I didn't stress an ounce, thanks to him.

    the things I love: 4DS

Cathe, I am just so excited about 4DS, that I have to tell you what I LOVE about it: LIS Music - Upon preview of the workouts, I felt like the music didn't live up to my expectations, but the when doing LIS I just kept saying over and over how much I loved the tunes...especially at the...

For those who are looking for Ryka Enlight IIs...

I too bought Enlight IIs from Walkingsue a few months ago and wanted to chime in. I took the advice of the group and went up a 1/2 size to 8, even though I was a 7 1/2 in all my other shoes, nikes, pumas, etc. I wish I wouldn't have. I think if I would have stuck with the 7 1/2, it would...

    embracing paleness

You sound like me. Hate my pale skin, but just this past year I have learned to accept it and stopped obsessing about missing tanning outside because I was stuck in an office. Of course, I wear a suit everyday and I think part of the reason I am just giving up on the tan thing. But muscle...

    4-Day Split Outfits

I agree with Jen. The fabric is awesome. I have the brown outfit and love it (with the capri pants and cutoff top). I think some have a shelf bra and some dont. The brown outfit does not, which I think is AWESOME, as I have a large chest and am so annoyed when the shelf bra gets in the way...

    Ab Work

The Ab Hits is very traditional ab work. I think that if you switch to a more core-focused ab workout that cathe uses in her more recent dvds, results will follow. Plus, ab work is tricky, because you really have to focus on working the muscle and not ripping on your neck. Core Max is a...

    Newbie-question

Since you have mastered Low Impact Step, try Low Max next, which builds upon this workout. YOu will see some familiar moves and blasts, but prepare for new footwork and a challenge! I could not tell from your post if you wanted to place more emphasis on shaping up your upper or lower body...

    Seasun Zieger "Bosu Blast" 2006

RE: Seasun Zieger Funny, I was just looking into this workout (I have all Seasun's other DVDs), but didn't realize how much a BOSU ball WAS!!! That was a shock. I really like Seasun, but do you know of any other quality bosu workouts that would make the purchase worth it (for the BOSU i mean)?

    non-Cathe workout recommendations

Sorry for the late reply, but I just had to shoutout for Seasun Zieger, who has three advanced step workouts, and 1 Bosu workout. I have her 3 step videos which are great if you like advanced chereography with a great workout. Other advanced videos break down too much, but not Seasun. I think...

    Ryka shoe size test (again)

Sorry to repost an exhausted question, but I just received my Enlight IIs and am not sure about the fit. I normally wear a 7.5, but opted for the half size up. My big toe hits about at the gray accent. Where does everyones' toe hit in theirs? Having never tried the 7.5s, I am wondering if I...

I had a MORTIFYING thought about Cathe last night
