    Need a woman's opinion

That's the danger of looking at what other people post. You don't know what the joke is. I've had things COMPLETELY misunderstood that were so innocent. Does his wife have a problem with it? "My Girl" could be their dog.

OK - what is that ->

My cursor doesn't do it. Must be the settings on my work computer. They take all the fun out of everything!

    Need a woman's opinion

I don't think there's anything wrong with it. Friends are friends, whether they're a different gender or not. I know a lot of married people that post on the walls of friends who aren't the same gender. What's the big deal?

OK - what is that ->

Nothing to post here, really....I just saw this emoticon and have no idea what it's supposed to be. Looks like a pie chart. Or maybe Pac Man on a downward path. OK - it went to the opposite side of the subject line when I hit submit

    Insane (but admirable) dedication

Ah-HAH! But you were marathon training! It's important to be conditioned for weather conditions for that. If I happen to run into her when I'm taking the hounds out for rollerblading this spring, I will ask her the deal. Then I can keep up with her to hear her answer.

Puppy slipper attack - cautiously optimistic

Giving a loud "NO!" to my puppy Buster when he's attacking my slippers has not been working. Pushing him off and giving a loud "NO!" to my puppy has not been working. It just gets the corgi going and that makes an annoying situation very tense. Well, today he was going for it again...

    Opposite ends of courage

You have the pilot that remained so cool and brought 155 passengers safely down from potential disaster...and then you have the clown financier who can't face the fact that he's a total screw-up, so he tries to fake his own death, putting the lives of people in danger by purposely allowing his...

    Plane crashes into Hudson River

I was just watching the news podcast from last night on this story. It's just so fantastic and is nice to have a bit of good news for a change. I hope the pilot Chesley Sullenberger is given an award for heroics. The flight crew, too...from what I've heard, they did a great job of...

    COLD!

Wow - we haven't broken the sub-zero mark yet in Buffalo. The wind has been nearly non-existant too. I think we dodged this one, because the temps are supposed to be climbing up tomorrow to the teens and then 20's in the next few days.

ended it with my love interest

now is the time you set your email tools to either SPAM him or put on an autoreply to anything he says. "Get over yourself. You've turned into a punch line" might work.

    Insane (but admirable) dedication

It only bothers my lungs when I come inside after exercising in the cold. I almost feel like I have asthma....not that I really know what that feels like. I think it's something you have to build up to - or at least I heard that once.

    Insane (but admirable) dedication

I don't know if she's training for a marathon, or just obsessed, but there's this woman in my neighborhood (I think) who I see jog by my house pretty frequently when I take my dogs out in the morning. Today she was jogging by and it's only 4 DEGREES!!!!!! What the...? Is she training for...

To call or not to call? Warning - LONG POST

To use the old cliche' - you've got closure. That's why you've stopped obsessing and it is a very good feeling, even if it's a painful good feeling.

A quick funny story about DH!!

Awesome! Just proves that some people do grow together instead of apart. That's great - congratulations.

Dog experts - is Cricket "protecting" me?

I don't just say no, I say it loudly and I push him away. He is pretty good with everything else (keep in mind he's just 5 months old and only been with us for a month). But he goes and sits by his bowl when it's meal time, waits for the other 2 to be fed, and sits until I put his dish down...

    Pet Injection - suggestions?

I've never done it and don't think I'd want to, but I've noticed my vet pulls the skin away from the animals and then administers their shots into the loose skin and they don't seem to feel it. Do you have to put it directly into the muscle? We've got a vet and at least one vet assistant on...

    Instyler

Hadn't even heard of it until this post, so I looked at their website. They have a BOGO on them now...so maybe that's an indication of the quality? Anyway...here are reviews online. http://15minutefashion.about.com/b/2008/08/07/the-instyler-friend-or-foe.htm

    Awwww...BF is so cute

Yeah, very endearing indeed. He made a point of saying he'll come over afterwards. Of course, I'll be asleep by then, but he's still welcome to come over and wake me with his snoring.

ended it with my love interest

Blown off for American Idol? IS HE SERIOUS?!? Glad you dumped him. I like the way he turns it around on you, saying he is concerned on how you handle things. It's his way of making it seem like it's your fault, and he's the one breaking it off. Leeeeeeeeeew-ZER!

What is the "Puke Factor" really?

I've never felt like puking while working out, but have nearly passed out a couple times. That's usually when it's too hot and I haven't had enough water.
