Im new, Question about "Pear Shape"

RE: Im new, Question about Congratulations! You've done a great job! You've have gotten a lot of good advice here, but as a pear I'll add my 2 cents anyway. I have (had) a body type just like yours. In the past, my weight has yo-yoed a lot but my "shape" never changed. Once I discovered Cathe's...

    Work your butt!

I can barely manage FORWARD walking lunges! (balance issues which I am working on with my new TLTs) but I'm so glad you posted this, I've been wanting to know more about your "Butt Building" rotation if you don't mind sharing. Are you using any DVDs or doing your own routine? Also how do you...

Cathe (or anyone!) help for a bubble butt

Pulling out an old Firm tape tonight! I did have a better butt back when I did those... I thought it I keep holding off on those TLTs because I'd like to get through a whole month without buying an exercise DVD! I keep reading such great things I don't think I'll be able to hold out much longer!

Cathe (or anyone!) help for a bubble butt

I'm with you meow! I have the exact problem. Although my legs are thinner from KPC and P90X, so is my butt! I want my booty back! I would love to know which Cathe (or other) workout works best for you Kathryn? Sandra

need max fat loss w/ muscle mass gain, suggest a DVD!

Welcome!I also discovered Cathe fairly recently (9 months?) and now own almost every DVD (missing some of the Body Blast Series)! Since you are already getting KPC (great choice) and have impact issues, I would definitely recommend Low Max as your next puchase, it is intense without the jumping...

Gym Styles vs. Slow n' Heavy

You could also try doing one of the GS premixes... I think the superset premix for chrst, triceps is very doable and effective. Sandra

Anyone doing TLT's? What do you think?

I have been eyeing these as well, hoping one of them would really stand out as a favorite or "must have". I'm just going into the final two weeks of a P90X rotation and thought a FF rotation would fit the bill for a change of pace when I'm done. I was looking to pick up just 1 or 2 of them but...

    Muscle Building & Defining Rotation

Looks fantastic! I think I'll attempt this after my p90X rotation is over. Hey, if you don't mind my asking, I remember you once mentioning that you were going to work on a fat loss rotation... did I miss that one? By the way, congrats! I saw you in a magazine recently, but I can't remember...

    Regarding Firm workouts....

Collage Video has some, but it can be confusing because the names have been changed on the DVD versions. BFor example, I recently replaced my original VOl. 1 with Susan Harris(!) with the DVD version which is called "Body Sculpting Basics". You'll have to search for "The Firm" and then look at...

    Transit strike rant

I wimped out by taking my last two vacation days to avoid the whole mess, but I'll have to go to work tomorrow. Unfortunately for me it will mean doing the "manly" thing and being ON THE ROAD AT 3 am!!! (espresso in hand!) Sandra

    Cathe or SNM

Not Cathe , but I recently replaced my stability ball because I too wanted a firmer ball. I got the Fitball Sport from fitness1st.com. It is super firm! Here is the link: http://www.fitness1st.com/Exercise-Balls.html
