    Timesaver Body Blast Serie

Timesaver was my first Cathe DVD purchase. It worked out well, as I was new to her choreography and didn't have the stamina for long cardio at the time. It encouraged me that Cathe was someone I could grow with. Just because I couldn't use the weights she used, I could still use the poundage...

The Bachelorette: The Final Two "J's"

RE: The Bachelorette: The Final Two I don't think DeAnna is ready for a lifetime relationship. She was in love with Brad, then was falling in love with Graham, then on the MTA show she tells Jeremy she's in love with Jason and Jesse. The word, "love" means less and less with her the more men...

The Bachelorette: The Final Two "J's"

RE: The Bachelorette: The Final Two >Tina, I loved all 3 of the families. I had mentioned in a >different post that I wish I had families like those!:-) Maybe >they'll adopt me! :7 I don't know, those brothers of Jeremy's weren't very welcoming. I liked the SIL though. But sheesh! That...

The Bachelorette: The Final Two "J's"

RE: The Bachelorette: The Final Two >So I just had a sinister thought. What if she didn't choose >either of them but is engaged to somebody else?! Well, don't put your money on Brad (or Graham) LOL! :P Diane

The Bachelorette: The Final Two "J's"

RE: The Bachelorette: The Final Two Yes, it was sad about Jeremy. He's not over the loss of his mother, and then to get dumped like that on TV. But you have to admit, DeAnna seemed more at ease, and LAUGHED a lot more with Jason and Jesse. Boy, that Men Tell All show was something! (oh...

Who did I talk to about The Bachelorette last week?

I know, I need to get a life too! I noticed when they originally promoted The Bachelorette and DeAnna would make an appearance on other shows, her comment about the end was, "I'm happy with my decision." I almost think she pulls a Brad. Haven't other Bachor/ettes said they and their...

Who did I talk to about The Bachelorette last week?

I'm not 100% behind DeAnna myself. It seems like her conversations with the guys center all about the "process" and relationships and how they're holding up. What about real life? I never hear her talk about her or their work. The only conversations that seem real to me are the ones with...

Who did I talk to about The Bachelorette last week?

I stumbled upon a link to an interview Graham did for the Charlotte Observer. It kind of bears out my theory that he just wasn't that into her: http://www.charlotte.com/200/story/687344.html Diane ETA - another interview...

Who did I talk to about The Bachelorette last week?

I don't know what to make of the tears at the bench... guilt? She made it quite clear he hurt her. I'm sure he was shocked at the "L" word. But really, anyone who can't keep a relationship going for more than 4 weeks isn't likely to fall head over heals with someone he just met. He...

Who did I talk to about The Bachelorette last week?

I see the whole Graham thing entirely different. She was smitten with him, and he just didn't return those feelings. I almost think he asked the producers to leave the show. Witness how he grins and sways during the Rose Ceremony, and his trite, "You did what you had to do," upon leaving...

Anyone else in Nor Cal feeling my pain?

Santa Cruz Mountains here. Visually smoky for days, but no smell. I guess it's high enough up. Sorry to hear it's so much worse in other areas. Diane

    Cloverfield

I'm going to have to rent it. I went to see it with my 17DS, but we never saw the last third of it. And funny this thread came up because I just told this story to his friend over the weekend. Being filmed with a hand-held camera and all, about 2/3 through the movie, DS said he wasn't...

Prayers to the Catheites in the Santa Cruz Mtns

    >Diane, do you find odd smoke patterns? We've >had it clear, and then come back, clear, and come back, etc. >Strange! >-Beth Ya. I'm thinking that what little wind we're having shifts direction quite a bit. I keep hoping for rain! The Mercury News said 30% chance of it today and it...

Prayers to the Catheites in the Santa Cruz Mtns

The fire is going more southeast, whereas it had been going southwest before. I'm well north of it all, although it's a bit smoky here today. I think Beth is to the northwest of it. But I'd feel better if we heard from her. Thanks for all your concerns. Diane

Prayers to the Catheites in the Santa Cruz Mtns

Just thought I'd check in this evening. The fire is still burning, but it's not gaining ground as it did yesterday with the high wind situation we were experiencing. We're even getting a little humidity and there's a slight chance of showers tomorrow. All these weather factors will help the...

How hot is it in your neck of the woods?

Yep, I went to pick up my kids and it was 103 in town. I live outside Silicon Valley, but in the mountains. The redwoods provide natural air-conditioning. My house is 76 - no electricity nesessary.

    Questions as I'm de-cluttering

BAM and Lulu Belle, Okay, the silk wedding suit is definitely going. And you seem to be split on the more in-style suits that I may never wear. Maybe I should just keep one of them, or see if the jackets work with jeans. Grandma certainly doesn't care at this stage. Mom, well...

Tracey Staehle KB sweatfest..anyone have it??

    >From what Tracey has said on her website, the new Strike Zone >won't be out for a few more weeks. (She's just shipped Core >Zone and Circuit Zone, which look like a lot of fun!) > Oops, my mistake. Thanks for correcting me. Diane

    $4.57 a gallon

    > I am surprised that California is more than NY though. California imposes a lot more taxes than most any other state, plus we have stricter emission standards and the refineries have to meet those standards. I remember just 10 years ago, when driving down my hill and looking across to the...
