    high step question

DH has no clue what to get me for Christmas so I was thinking of leading him to Cathe.com for a nice little Christmas order. I have a question about the high step - how many risers does one usually use. I notice that if you order it with risers it comes with four. Is that the amount she uses...

Tips for new workouts...post 'em here!

I would also recommend that if anyone has diffulty with choreo to do Cardio Fusion after learning the choreo on BM2. She doesn't break it down at all which made it difficult to follow initially. Now that I've done BM2 and have the choreo down, I think CF will go much more smoothly. I agree...

Thanks for the link, Adina, very interesting! I forwarded the link to my DH since he's got it now too but won't go to the doctor :( Perhaps these will help him - poor sap is on his feet all day in workboots and he's been miserable. Kate - OMG, barefoot workouts?! That makes me literally...

    soles of my feet hurt!

The stretches I do that help are runner's stretches against a wall but more importanty calf stretches either off of a stair step or your workout step. I do these before and after. Really seem to help. Also, FYI, from what I learned from my foot dr. and other research on my own....heel spurs...

Anyone with plantar fascitis able to workout?

When I was first diagnosed, I really took it easy. My podiatrist ok'd the elliptical/exercise bike/swimming, but told me to go easy on anything higher impact at least during the initial 4-6 weeks of naproxen. I know how awful you feel when told to hold back when you are so used to being active...

    soles of my feet hurt!

I, too, am a long-time PF sufferer. Well, it's definitely controlled at the moment, but I've really learned my limits with. With flip-flop season ending (well, at least in OH - it snowed today, blech), at least I don't have that temptation although TEVA mush flip flops served me well with my...

Question About Night Splints For Plantar Fasciitis

Shelbygirl, I got the big clunky kind, and I despise it! It feels too tight across my foot, and I end up kicking it off in the middle of the night. So, currently, I haven't been wearing one. I'd like to hear opinions about other night splints, though, because if the bootie version is...

Horrible PMS - is the Pill the only answer?!?!

I've been on Welbutrin, an anti-depressant, for my PMS and it does seem to help the extreme moodiness I was experiencing for the week prior to my period. I have had no adverse side effects at all. Previous anti-depressants had me with zero libido and weight gain, but this one has been fine...

    Vet bills - Why? $$$$$$$$

Watch what you get online and from pet stores - some are fraudulent/shipped from overseas and are counterfeit and NOT the same as you can get from your vet. Also, if you purchase HW prevention online and your pet by chance contracts heartworm (it *can* happen), the parent company will not pay...

Hi everyone, I've been dealing with plantar fascitis for about 3-4 weeks now, and unfortunately have had to take a hiatus from Cathe :( Prior to going to the doctor,I had been doing LowMax and the Imax's almost regularly. I now have to do low impact ONLY until I'm healed. I'd like to think...
