    I am an exercise snob!

Don't feel bad, from another snob! I felt the same way going to the Y lately. I have tried 3 step classes with 3 different instructors and was bored to tears. I was modifying the moves to make them harder for myself. Here I was flying over the step, using Cathe moves, and I could feel the...

Question re: Timesaver DVD = before I order

I bought 2 of the DVDS in the series but not the Push and Pull, or the Timesaver. I felt I couldn't spend the money at the time. Now I can, but wonder if the Timesaver is just a mix of the others, that I can program using the premixes or workout blender. If it's a repeat of the others I will...

Please post your BB DVD premix reviews here!

I just had to post and say I've done KP&C and the 85 minute premix from Step Blast, with Step, Hi/Lo and weight circuit, then did the ab section and I have loved every single minute of these DVDs so far. This is just what I've been needing to get myself back in gear and quit working out...

    Your first EVER exercise video?

Jane Fonda's videos at first (thought they were hard, ha)then found Kathy Smith (who was harder), then on to the Firms for several years, exclusively. I found Cathe through the Firm forum about 2 years ago and have never looked back. Lynn

    Sorry

Leslie, You think that's bad? I've turned the water on to fill up the bathtub, then gotten sidetracked doing something in another part of the house and not realized it until I saw water coming out the door of the bathroom...I've done that twice in 2 years time. What a mess! So, don't feel...

Choreography or Fitness??? You opinion please ...

I have both of these and the choreography doesn't seem hard to me. I have tried many instructors and feel that Cathe's step is the easiest for me to learn. I have several Christi Taylor's and am still working on the choreography because I'm a klutz, but never have much problem learn Cathe's...

    Losing motivation

Hi. I just want you to know you aren't alone in how you feel. Last year I lost 22 lbs, and was so into working out I couldn't live without it. I was feeling healthy, sexy, successful, and on top of the world. January of last year I was totally devastated when my husband admitted to a year...

    Does anyone have Fibromyalgia?

I don't have fibromyalgia, but am a nurse, and work at a medical spa. One of the treatments we provide is endermologie (which helps the appearance of cellulite). It is also used on a different setting for fibromyalgia pain. Some insurances even pay for the treaments, which are $100 a...

    what are your suggestions!!!

Hi. Just wanted to add some encouragement. Like you I had been working out with cardio and weights for many years, but am 5'4 and had gained weight over a 5 year period to 153 lbs. Last March (2002) I joined weight watchers. Although I alway felt I ate good foods, I found I ate way too much...

Has anyone tried the Lotte Berk VHS or DVDs? I am a Cathe fanatic but wondered if these would be a good addition to my workouts? Any input would be appreciated. Thanks, Lynn

How do you get rid of cellulite????

Hi. I work at a vein clinic/medical spa. While losing weight and exercise, along with drinking a lot of water can help reduce cellulite, nothing can truly get rid of some of it. I'm sure you've seen very thin, fit people that still have some. The place I work offers a cellulite treatment...

    Why do you workout?

I started working out to get in shape and lose weight, but now do it also to keep my stress level down and energy level up. If I go a few days without it, I start feeling withdrawals. I still love the benefits of looking better, but the health benefits are definitely the most important. Lynn

    I love feeling STRONG!

Margie, I know the feeling! My 19 year old son bought a new bed for his room and asked me to help him carry it up stairs. We did fine together. He knows how hard I work out and said he knew we could do it together. I too love that strong powerful feeling. Especially after a hard workout...
