    Obsessed with exercise

Karen, I get that too. I find it such a strange phenomena - the use of the word "obsessed" in relation to regular exercise. BTW, I am assuming here that you mean "regular" and not several hours a day for those 6 days. I too have had people tell me I'm too thin or I'm obsessed, but DH...

    whats up with the yayas?

Here's my 2 cents as a new Cathe convert -- I recently switched from the Firm to Cathe, and cannot believe what I've been missing workout wise! Cardio is so much fun and strength workouts more challenging. So I would suggest keeping your BB order, if you don't end up liking them you will...

My DVDs that I ordered just arrived!!.............

What did you get? I often use Body Max a la carte and love it! I too am still building my Cathe collection and will be getting the Intensity Series any day and cannot wait!!! Did you get any of these? Sometimes I think I am nutty checking the UPS tracking on my package every day! LOL...

OT: Trying to get my boss in trouble

Madonna, I really have to agree wholeheartedly with Clare as well. The professional high road is the only way to go - both for your career as well as your own peace of mind. I am living proof of Clare's good advice, I had a schizo, demoralizing boss w/unreal demands who was holding me back...

    Intensity Series Results

Here! Here! I second the motion for your rotation details. Your abs are amazing. You should be very proud of your accomplishment. And not only are you buff, but you are color coordinated (w/stability ball), cute outfit! Smiles, Kim

Which of the Intensity Series to get?

Thanks so much! Imax 2/C&W and Pyramids it is. I have heard so many raves about these -- maybe I'll be able to tackle the rotations now. Maybe I'll get brave enough to try Terminator down the road. Cheers! Kim

Which of the Intensity Series to get?

Okay folks, I've got money burning a hole in my pocket from my recent unloading of Firms on Ebay -- can you help me spend it? I can get 2 DVDs or 1 DVD and a stability ball -- what do you think? I don't have any of the Intensity Series yet (will be getting BB series for Xmas)! I do have...

    Best for $100

I will chime in on CTX as well. I am new to Cathe, but have several of her other workouts, but just got the CTX DVDs-- and love, love, love it!! It is all I am doing right now, it was the best money I have spent so far on any workout video. Kim

    Anyone use Cathe exclusively?

While I'm not 100% surprised by the responses, I am surprised by the number of you using her exclusively -- and long term. I will take the good advcie to hang on to a few easier videos for recovery needs. I guess its off to Ebay for me, LOL, thanks everybody! Kim

    Anyone use Cathe exclusively?

Hi all. Am fairly recent convert to Cathe, love both her cardio and strength. In fact, I like them so much, that all my other vids are collecting dust -- I'm not sure if I'll ever go back to them! Should I hesitate to sell off all my non-Cathe vids? Each video seems to have a much better...

    Need to vent- ignorant people

Marci, Well now you can look forward to the time when after you reach your goal and are totally ripped -- when these same people will sarcastically comment on your 'exercise obsession' or whether you have an eating disorder. LOL! Really, whether you are 'in transit' or at your goal, there...

    Ferret as a Pet

I will have to also concur with the SMELL problem. DH and I did not have a pleasant experience owning a ferret. We both grew up with all kinds of animals but did not enjoy the ferret. Unfortunately most will tell you that they have a 'musky' odor, this actually means that they smell...

    Defensive non-exercisers?

Well I just knew it wasn't only me. I really appreciate the great support I have gotten here in a short time. Perhaps knowing I have friends-in-fitness here to chat with will make taking the 'high road' a little easier. Many thanks, Kim

    Defensive non-exercisers?

Hi y'all, I am fairly new to Cathe, but a long time Firmee and am continually baffled by the defensivenss of the non-exercisers that I encounter. I try not to discuss my healthy lifestyle unless asked, but even then am at the receiving end of some serious attitude. For example, yesterday...

Cardio benefits - intense vs. moderate?

A-jock, Thanks very much for the informed response. I had suspected that this topic was frought w/conflicting data and that working hard, and smart, had to be good for me. And yet another reason to love strength training, as something to strengthen my cardio. I have been lurking here...

Cardio benefits - intense vs. moderate?

Hi all! Am fairly new to Cathe vids and loving (read 'addicted to') them. My question is regarding the cardio/fat-burning benefits of her cardio workouts -- I have read that fat burning occurs at a low to moderate level and at the higher end you are simply burning glycogen stores...
