Elevated Lower Body

I did this one right out of box last night. I wasn't planning on doing the whole workout because I got home from work later than expected, but there is such a variety of moves in this, that I completed the whole workout. I love the way this is structured. Definitely no-boredom. I like that there aren't endless weighted squats, lunges or deadlifts. I have enough of those types. This works your legs differently and I felt the fatigue without an achey back. I worked up a pretty good sweat too. I love workouts with variety. This is a winner!

I did this one yesterday & loved it! There's a ton of variety & not a lot of repetitions. I was breathing throughout, too. And the fabric band section...oh my! I agree with you, my low back felt pretty good after this workout. And my legs & butt were fried. An instant favorite!

This morning I did this work out and agree with everyone that posted - fun workout, nice variety.

I also wanted to say I loved that Cathe gave a shout out to Salt-n-Pepa - Push it Real Good! I giggled out loud :)

FitSaxe, I am glad someone else caught that :)
Yes, I agree, my calves were burning! I truly appreciated Cathe's creativity.

I am doing the 1 month rotation with the LMR downloads so this was my first workout. I am confident I am going to enjoy the rest of them as much as I did this one.

did this workout this morning (doing the LMR2 with the heavy weight downloads) rotation. I liked the workout. I used mainly 10 lb weights. My step was lower also, two risers instead of 4. My plan next time is to stop after the workout and do 10 minute walk to flush out the legs then do my own stretching. For me the stretching part wasn't all that great. But the workout itself was good. I already feel it in my legs.

I really enjoyed Elevated Lower body. Weights are on the heavier side with the reps being
slower and controlled. Worked up a high heart rate and heavy sweat. I'm loving this new
series, thank you team.

Finally had a chance to do this workout as I'm now starting the rotation with the bonus downloads today.

I really enjoyed this workout. I alternated between her heavy suggestions and her light suggestions depending on the exercise and how I was feeling at any given moment. I can for sure see this being quite a challenge if you stay heavy the whole way through - I felt plenty challenged enough.

Now, some of that feeling challenged bit may have something to do with my throwing in a couple of 1RM tests before the main body of the workout (did them right after the warmup - tested my 1RM for squats and 1RM for calf raises... my quads and calves were extra cranky by the end of any of the high-rep exercises like the running mans and those 72 calf raises - did I count that right??)

Did anyone catch that she did 13 reps (not 12) on the side lateral step-ups on the first side? (Either that or I was feeling delirious.)

Really appreciated all the different, creative moves. I can see this making its way into my rotation fairly frequently in place of other endurance-based lower body workouts.

I have to say those leg drops with the hip thrusts seemed to make a difference. I was already feeling my hamstrings pretty good, but when I dropped my leg, I felt it just a little more.

Thumbs up from me!

In comparison to the original LMR, this one is definitely "Elevated".

Lol I did NOT count those. I was in full delirious mode too! When I enter the delirious mode I do not bother count. As to calf raises, I was way too focused on my brain confusion to bother count:D. Confused cause the mechanical movement just felt unusual lol. I just kept with the pace and synchronised. Those calf raises made me think and check any imbalance and stiffness. Thank God I was fine!

You will face those lateral step ups doing STS original. In fact you will have many step up:D
