WOW! December already! Where does the time go!

This morning starts my new rotation I posted on Cathe's rotation forum. I did 4DS Back and Chest. Had a great workout. I can't say it's great to be back to working out - I really enjoyed my week off and couldn't believe it was time to get started again. But doing this workout made me feel really good.

BACK/CHEST
Round 1
Supermans (warmup)

One Arm Rows (warmup)
15# - 16 reps

One Arm Rows: 30# - 8 reps

Full/Partial Pushups

One Arm Rows: 30# - 8 reps

Pushups:B] 8 singles/8 bottom half/8 top half
***Repeated Round 1 all over again but skipped the supermans and warmup of one arm rows.

Round 2
Underhand Barbell Rows: 70# - 1 set 7 reps; 1 set 8 reps

Incline Dumbbell Flyes: 30's - 12 slow reps

Underhand Barbell Rows: 70# - 2 sets 7 reps

Incline Dumbbell Flyes: 30's - 12 slow reps
***Repeated Round 2 but dropped to 25's with the incline flyes.

Round 3
One Arm Rows Palms Back: 25# - 12 reps

Decline Pushups: 12 reps
***Repeated Round 3 again.

Round 4
Incline Pullovers: 30# - 8 reps

Incline Dumbbell Chest Press: 35# - 12 reps
***Repeated Round 4 again.

Round 5
Back Pulls w/ purple band superset w/Y-Pulls

Around the Clock Pushups
***Repeated Round 5 again.

This was exhausting. Rounds 1 and 2 were really tough to repeat. Felt good, though. Really worked the muscles well.

I did the stretch and didn't like it too much. It was too much leg stretching and hardly any upper body stretching.

Wow, my whole post just disappeared. Boy am I mad!:mad:

I decided to go back to TT for December due to the shorter workouts and that I am looking puffy so I need the extra cardio to burn off some fat!:( This time I am doing TT for Abs

Superset A
DB Bulgarian Split Squat
8/8/8 - 25's
Spiderman Pushups
10 per side x 3

Superset B
Inverted Rows
12/12/12
1 Legged Deadlifts
12/12/12 - 12's
***The deadlift is baically a 1 legged squat holding one leg in the air behind you***

Superset C
SB Roll outs
10/10/10
SB Mountain Climbers
10/10/10 **Really felt these in my abs:D***
Straight arm Side Plank
20 sec hold x 3

Then interval cardio at a 30/90 using Drill 5 from Drill Max. That drill is easier when you insert 90 sec rests:p.

Diane Sue - Had to laugh the other day when you said you use Drill Max when you want a shorter workout, because I use it when I want to go longer!:p
 
Linda - Nice workout! Sorry your post disappeared. I hate when that happens! Yes, I am actually surprised how many people have checked in already. Makes me happy!

Morning Maniacs! This morning I did Dove's Bodies #1. Will probably do these and squeeze throughout December. Like Linda, I need the extra cardio over the holidays. Yesterday I attempted to do Low Max, but my foot started to hurt so I bagged it. Do not want a foot injury!

Debbie- You have quite a following.:) That's great! I'll be lurking over there.

Linda- I'm with you on feeling all puffy.:confused:

Teddy- Nice that Imax 2 killed you.:p

Gotta go....have a totally dreary day at work ahead of me. Not so great dog coming in. It's mean to begin with and now it has a bad back and it even bit the owner and she got staff infection from it and was hospitalized for 4 days...Yada Yada Yada............

I don’t know if I am a Endomorph or Mesomorph, could I be double jointed lol :eek: EEK. I’m pear shaped carry lots of weight in my butt, hips and mostly my thighs and I’m med to big boned I would say more medium boned than big boned Now, what am I? :eek: :eek:

Oh, I don’t build muscles fasts, due to layers and layers of fat. I get bigger and thicker unless I drop the fat.

Linda...nice workout! What is TT?

Teddy...Are you feeling better? I think I'm a "tweener" too...between ecto and meso. Since I want to build muscle, during this rotation I will lift heavier and cut back on cardio.

Dally's...sound like you have a fun day ahead of you!

Suz...Ok, that sucks for DH with what his dad did... and on his birthday!!!!!!!! Sounds like you had a great time with your girlfriends. We know alot of people with LA County Sheriff's dept. Two of our closest friends used to be with them but one is now the Police Chief in Austin, Texas and the other is retired and now works for Correctional Board reviews.

So we bought a new Olympic workout bench and weight set! I'm so excited. Has alot more stuff. DS pretty much outgrew our old weight set and I was ready to kick it up a notch. I posted pics on mycathespace. DH is going to pick up new treadmill today...we keep that in room downstairs.

Teddygirl, you sound like you are more Endo then anything. Possible with meso characteristics as well. I'm a meso/endo but I'm mostly meso. Did you see the breakdown Dani posted on the actual rotation I typed up - not the check-in - but in the rotation forum. Maybe that will help?

Finished my ab work. Just took 3 BCAA's and ready to get into chest/back here in a few.

Doing meditations in the morning to clear my mind. Listening to hypnosis cd's at night to put me to sleep. lol. Only thing is I have RLS (restless leg syndrome) so when the relaxation kicks in..my legs start to shake..weird. I swear I cannot be still even to relax or sleep. I believe I was a mexican jumping bean in another lifetime. :eek: Nah, don't believe in such things..just being silly.
 
Dallys - Is that lady crazy not giving that poor dog it's pain meds before dropping him off? Feeling puffy is the pits!

- Congrats on the new bench! I am in such need of a new one. TT stands for Turbulance Training. It's a bunch of workouts based mainly on supersets written by Craig Ballantyne.

Debbie - Nice workout, should have probably joined you so I could finally do 4DS :p.

Well I took some longer breaks then Cathe, I always do and it was still under an hour. So don't fret!
 
I went out to the doctor this morning because I am hardly sleeping because I keep coughing. She gave me an inhaler. Said it is because I have a cold and after having pnuemonia my bronchial area is probably inflamed. Had to go to the post office. Why don't people pack their stuff up before they get there? There were people trying to get their stuff together while in line. There were some that had the postal workers taping up their packages for them. One woman had to hold up the line to go out to her car to get her purse:confused:

Good afternoon!

I haven't worked out yet. I started too but I dinked around with the weights on my Bowflex Revolution for too long. You see, I suck at math. Especially in the morning. I use the Revolution for leg press and I was trying to get all of the weights right and...well...it's just not as easy as it sounds (okay, it is but let's just say it's not so I feel better). So I wanted to write it all down so that I would have it easier in the future. Since I build on each set I have to add, but I don't just add a 5 pounder here and a 10 pounder there b/c I don't have so many of each one so I have to take off a 20 pounder and add 2 of this or that and it all gets so confusing. For some reason my brain wasn't working that well this morning. I think I sat there doing MATH for 20 minutes. I finally decided to bag my workout and do it tonight. I had already gotten up late and was going to do cardio tonight. SO...weights tonight and maybe no cardio. I did do Imax 2 yesterday but that's b/c I didn't do anything on Saturday. UGH!

I gained FOUR POUNDS this weekend!!! I ate non-stop. I have no willpower. None. Zero. Zip. But it was pretty fun. DH is over the moon about it. It would be one thing if it was healthy food weight, but I'm here to tell you it wasn't. Oh well, back on track today.

I have an appt. to get my shoulder stretched at 4pm with the athletic trainer. I told him it hurts and I'm not sure that's good for it. He said that it's supposed to b/c it's going places it doesn't want to go and if we don't do that it will eventually just stay in it's own little spot and not move much at all. I told him it had been starting to hurt more so we need to stretch it more and he's going to give me some exercises to start doing.

Sonya - LOVE the weight bench!!! I bet you are so happy. And I love how you have Cathe on your screen. :)

Debbie - If I wasn't in the middle of my rotation I would probably do yours. It looks awesome! Of course I really need to buy that leg one you all talk about (the name escapes me at the moment - but you all just did it a couple of weeks ago and it's in your rotation - oh, is it Legs & Glutes???).
