Your Top 3 Toughest Cathe Workouts

willowe

Cathlete
Hi,
Just a fun thread to see what everyone's Top 3 toughest Cathe videos are, No 1 being the toughest (heck, they're all tough!!).
Mine are:

Cardio:
1) Interval Max (all those plyos!)
2) Circuit Max
3) MIC (just for sheer length!)

Strength:
1) Leaner Legs (fry's my legs for days!)
2) Power Hour
3) MIS

Obviously, I appreciate not everyone has all of Cathe's videos (I don't - yet!) but what would your lists look like using the videos you have?
Kaz.

This is a great question. Mine would have to be:

Cardio
1. Interval Max
2. Circuit Max
3. MIC

Strength (Keep in mind I only own 4!)
1. Power Hour
2. PS - Strong Legs & Abs
3. PS - CST

From what I've been seeing around here, I'm going to be inserting Leaner Legs into that strength ranking once I get my hands on CTX. :)

Cardio:
1. Circuit Max
2. Bodymax - if you do the entire tape
3. Imax

Strength:
Hands down, no question: Meaner Leaner Queener Legs

Good question... hope we don't scare anyone off :)

1. MIC (have done this ONE TIME without stopping, scared to do it again :)

2. Body Max

3. Interval Max

and Step Works gets an honorable mention from me in the "toughest choreography" catagory. Had this for years and have yet to complete it. It's the only cathe tape I stopped in the middle and said "oh the heck with it!"

Okay since I did Meaner Legs yesterday and can barely walk today, I'll have to give it a vote for toughest strength tape EVER

:)

I am sort of late getting in on this:

Body max--by the end of the cardio/legs portion I am so fatigued from all that jumping I just can't wait to do upper body. I never have been one for too much high impact.

I love LL but don't feel it is THAT hard. I was surprised so many do. I still think MIS legs is harder--or at least it makes me more sore the next day.

Jeanne

Overall, the top three toughest are:

1) Bodymax (It is SO long, and the BPM are SO high!)
2) Interval Max (No explanation necessary)
3) Circuit Max (I feel like I'm breathless the entire time)

1. Interval Max :-tired
2. MIS - my first & most beloved workout from Cathe, but it fries my beans!
3. Circuit Max/Body Max...can't decide. Has to be a tie. :-wow

(1 gold, 1 silver, 2 bronze...if they can do it so can I!)
Ruth :)

I must clarify: I did CTX LL yesterday and thought "My God, did I say this wasn't that difficult, and that MIS was harder?"

I think what happened is I did LL for sooo long (love it, love it) that I got used to it. Then I went to S&H and MIS. When I came back to CTX LL I realized how how non-stop it is! Cathe, may I please stop and wipe up my dripping sweat?

Jeanne, humbled

I only have Maximum Intensity Strength. I just ordered S&H. All my other videos are FIRM videos. I have to say that to date MIS is the hardest I've ever done. I can't wait to get S&H. Does anyone know where I can pick up a step bench like the one she uses in the video?
