Some of these I have to watch over and over just to get what's going on...that's part of their appeal (since I can watch them over and over:)): All About Eve and Citizen Kane among others.

Others are just pure delight and take me out of everyday life:
Desk Set
Moon Over Miami
Down Argentine Way
Springtime in the Rockies
and there are more of these:)

And just to show I do know there are movies being made today:
Pirates of the Caribbean
and any of The Lord of the Ring trilogy

Wizard of Oz
Any John Hughes 80's movie :)(Sixteen Candles, Pretty in Pink, Breakfast Club etc.)
Home Alone
Some Kind of Wonderful
Fever Pitch
Shawshank Redemption
Pretty Woman
When Harry Met Sally
Say Anything
Rat Race (hilarious!)

Princess Bride
A Fish Called Wanda
Dirty Dancing
Star Wars
Year of the Comet
True Lies
Romancing the Stone
Buffy the Vampire Slayer

I definitely prefer comedies and adventures.

Since I've had Christmas music on already the last two days, I'm going with the Christmas theme. I can't wait to watch It's a Wonderful Life every year.

For regular movies, oh I have so many, I'd have to think about this.
