I have been designing a plan for weight loss coupled with clean eating.I would love your thoughts on which UB workouts to consider.

First let me explain my plan:

Cardio 3 consecutive days alternating with a Lower Body, light weight/high rep w/o in the am. One UB part and Abs in the pm.

For example: am/pm

HCE #3/GS Triceps + abs
KPC/GS Back + abs
4 Mile run/GS Biceps
Legs and Glutes/Abs
IMAX 2/GS Biceps + Abs
KICKMAX/GS Shoulders + Abs
Rest
4 Mile Run/Triceps + Abs
LowMax/Back + Abs
Etc.......

So , for my body which is 5'2" and bottom heavy, I need to keep lower body light weight and high rep. But my upper body responds nicely to a heavier weighted workout. I only have the GS series for UB. I am so verklemped as to whether I should invest in Pyramid Series, S&H, or another UB series. What do you like for UB definition, and why?

Thanks,
X

I like the Pyramid Series. I got great definition in both my arm and legs with it.Also the PUB has a great abs section. I have S&H but haven't used it yet, so can't comment on it.

Remember to change up your activities every 4-6 weeks or so. Interestingly enough, I'm finding that starting an UB endurance rotation after the GS series is nicely defining the gains with GS. Some of the DVDs I'm using are MM, ME and Supersets. But as others will tell you, you need to experiment and see what works for you. ;)

I recommend the Pyramids too. I see great defintion when I add PUB to a rotation.

Your plan looks great and should help you tone up your lower body in no time, but I don't see any stretching on your list! You're doing a lot of high impact activity, so you really should include a couple of days stretching or yoga. If you don't have Stretch Max, that's a good one to get.
