This Saturday, May 25, 2013, there is a nationwide march against Monsanto, the huge seed producer who is basically poisoning our foods with bacterias and pesticides that we and our children consume. Studies have shown the effects of GMO's in the body create cancer, autism, digestive disorders, and the list goes on. The first link below is a description of what GMO's are and why they are so harmful. The link in the second paragraph is letting you know about the march on Saturday and to see if there's one near you to join in. Please take the time to read the info as this is greatly harming ourselves, our children and their children and their children, well, you get the picture.

Thanks for posting this BAM. I'm against GMOs but I often feel I'm a teeny, tiny voice in a crowd of people who are unaware or or don't care companies like this are doing this to our food. I'm thrilled to hear about this. I'm passing it onto my family.

Oh, DixieGirl, your one voice is a Giant sound heard. It's each voice that couples with the previous and next one that continues to make a strong chain. EVERY voice is soooooooooo important. I went to a GMO labeling rally earlier this week and each individual voice of everyone there made a HUGE difference. I'm so glad you're passing this info on to others. It is together that we make change!!

I've already gotten messages back from my parents ranting about the dangers of GMOs so I know many of our voices are being heard and I'm just so glad rallies and marches are taking place. Hopefully with those and using our dollars to let food manufactures know what we want, the GMO industry will suffer. It baffles me that our government hasn't banned it!
