Yippee - I did Step Blast!

Hi all!

I made it through Step Blast. I'm pretty new to Cathe - so it may not sound like much to some of you...but I'm feeling pretty proud. I was able to get the majority of the steps, and I think that one more time through and I'll be able to keep up and get most of the steps! I really thought about stopping about half way through, but I made myself finish it, and I'm glad that I did! I think that once I get more used to the steps that it will not seem like as much work to get through it - but kind of a fun release.

I just love Cathe's videos. It's a sickness...I want them all! It's a good sickness though - well except for my bank account!

Amy, that is a VERY BIG accomplishment in my book! It took me about six times to even make it through Step Blast -- I kept getting confused and frustrated. It finally "clicked" with me, and now it's one of my favorite workouts!
 
Congratulations! I just did Step Blast this morning and had a BLAST with it. I remember a time when I couldn't make it through this workout, but now I can just plug on all the way to the end. It's a great feeling! I think you'll come to love this workout!

Good for you Amy...Step Blast is one of my favorites - as is IM2, IM, Rhythmic Step, PowerMax, Step & Intervals, etc., etc., etc! Wait, I love them all!!!

Step Blast is so much fun, didn't you think? I love this workout. Especially the combination with the quick tap repeaters.

I think you should be proud of your accomplishment. I considered myself to be an "advanced" exerciser (competitive bodybuilder 12 years ago and former FIRMIE) but when I got turned on to Cathe I was humbled indeed! I'm choreographically challenged so I had to "pedal backward" to her "Classics" DVD to learn the footwork. I was as excited as you are to "nail" the routines and finish them in their entirety! Don't minimize your achievement! You're awesome!
P.S. We should consider this forum as our "support group" for our "sickness", too!

Yes, you should be proud. You are my hero of the day!

I've done SB 2x's this week and will hit it again on Fri. in hopes of making sense of all those crazy moves - 360, hitch kick, fast repeater...just when I think I've got a section I realize I'm facing the wrong way or using the wrong leg! x( I'm determined to get this and will stick with it until I do. I hope you're around to celebrate with me when I can do it!

That is awesome! I have so much trouble with combo 3, I'm always on the wrong side of the step. I did it yesterday too and the more I do it, the easier it gets. I love the music in this workout too.
