I remember reading a post about how women can be cruel. Well, I had to share this.
I am a teacher, and yesterday when I was making copies in the copy room, an older teacher came in, and this is what she said...
"Jen, how much weight did you lose?" I told her 7 pounds (thinking...big whoop). She is looking me up and down. Then, I hear,
"Are you sick?", "I heard you have an awful class" (I do, but hey, I get them every now and then), "I am worried about you caue you look too thin". "You must be exercising too much"...blah, blah, blah. And, she kept drilling me over and over.
I was defending myself, but the whole time, I was thinking, "Why am I defending my healthy lifestyle?" I wake up early to work out for 30-45 min about 4 mornings a week, I work out maybe one day on the weekend (I do have a little one). I eat regularly, maybe could be a little cleaner, and I try to keep a positive outlook on life. What the he**?
Here's another doozy (yes, this happened in the same day)...I sell a Direct Sales product on the side, and I absolutely love it. It's my hobby, and I have so much fun doing it. Well, last week, I got a lead (on the company's website) from someone who wanted to buy my product and wanted me to send them a catalog. So, I had e-mailed that person and sent out a catalog the very next day. Yesterday, upon returning from work, there sat the envelope with the catalog. The postal service had returned it to me marked "address does not exist". Then, I went back to the lead information on the company site, and saw that that person left really nasty comments about my and my services (how she would not recommend me to anyone, etc.). Here, it turns out that the whole thing was bogus. Why would someone do that? I believe it is someone at work who copies the jewelry I sell and sells it to teachers I work with, but can't be sure. I am going to have that case investigated by my lawyer (I just hope yahoo will give out subcriber info the the lawyer).
Anyway, I feel a lot better now because it is a new day. But, like the other poster a few weeks ago, I don't understand women!!! They are a rare breed! Thanks for reading this post.
Have a great weekend!!! I can't wait till I get those new DVDs-they look awesome!
