Xers........Workout Wednesday............

Hi everyone,

I ended up doing a moderately paced 3 -4 mile run and then push pull leg premix, the one that does it 3x. That was just what I needed. No frills, just a leg workout. Today is cardio only and I may do Step Blast because that start up music on push pull reminded me of how fun SB is! Then again, I may change my mind before this afternoon comes.

I'll check back with everyone later.

At work, I'm in for what could be a nasty couple of hours in a meeting that has the potential to go sour. I did some yoga this morning to prepare:)

Happy Hump Day!

Tracy

Nice workout Tracy! So sorry about the meeting today.... I sure hope the first few weeks of the school year arent an indication of what it will be like all year for you. ~ OF COURSE you did yoga to prepare! You are so awesome with taking care of yourself in that way
;-)

*Nov 06 “ Shock Your Body” 2006 Workouts *
30 minute run + StretchMax
~~~~~~~ I’m subbing yoga for a run today and doing 2 segments of SM~~~~~~~~
~~~~~~~ For those who asked about my BM2 as produced experience yesterday… Started off not really feeling up tp any cardio so that kinda set the pace.. After the cardio I was so fatigued (mental & physical) that the weight work felt like an injury waiting to happen. Overall – NO- I wont do it again as produced… I have always loved BM2 (all its segments) done in mish mosh style but it was no fun at all yesterday. I had to keep telling myself how much I love the music and choreography just to keep at it…I am just not a 90 min girl anymore- nor am I into cardio before weight training – Also spending all that time working out and feeling no muscle fatigue is disheartening… That of course is all about the 8# max weight load and not the w/o… I think my head is just in a bad place this week – It will all get better soon- just gotta suck it up. (Arent ya’ll glad you asked? LOL) ~~~~~~~~

I’ll get started with personals then come back and finish up- gotta get the house picked up before the washer dude arrives!

[i ]{{{{{{{{{{{{huggers}}}}}}}}}}}}}} OM Goodness! You really better lay off anything that irritates that back woman! I KNOW you are anal but you cant risk a serious long term rehab! PLEEZE take it from we humbled Xers…. Its just not worth it! If I hadn’t been an arss last year and taken just a week or two off the X I probably wouldn’t be in the place I am…. Remember that Tracy is still working towards strengthening her back after a very very long & painful recovery time. Just stop and have a long hard talk with yourself about priorities here. {{{{{{{{{{{{{{healing vibes}}}}}}}}}}}}} [font/ book antiqua]

[i ]DEBRA - X [font/ book tahoma]
I’ll be around til next week Wed my dear! Don’t you worry- I am just a phone call away!!! Would you like the Xers to each call XDH and share with him the ground rules for his visit? Wouldn’t that be FUNNY!?!? – Seriously tho- do you have an agenda? When I get worried about these sorts of situations I like to write out what I need to accomplish from the visit so in case of brew-ha-ha I can refocus conversations. Lets face it- if it gets hot & heavy HE can get on a plane and fly away while you are trying to re-center in order to raise little Diva. You’ll do great however you handle it…~ Your recovery week plans sound very good! I like how you’re thinking on that!! … [font/ book antiqua]

[i ] The trip sounds like it is going so well!!! Hooray on sticking to your plan of action and feeling good about all you are accomplishing. Safe travels tonight & happy snuggling with Vic! [font/ book antiqua]

I cracked myself up--- started to pick up house and said- to heck with it- it’s a washer guy not a house inspector! Much rather sit with the girls and gab a bit!

[i ]ROF about the WTH comment! That was just too funny and out of character for you! Good One! ~ That’s so cool about your weight loss without trying! All your hard work pays off eventually doesn’t it? Cant wait to hear the end result of rotation. Eating 90/10 really is the secret to lasting success I think… At least at the AGE !! LOL _- My sister & I were just talking about this yesterday… Shes frustrated and cant understand why she put on 20#s overnight although she continues to workout- I said DUH- could it be the new boyfriend that cooks you 5 course dinners every night smothered in melted butter and a bottle of wine? HMMMMMMMMMMMM no surprises here! LOL [font/ book antiqua]

[i ]TRACY - X [font/ book tahoma]
[i ] Interesting you said that about starvation mode… Since not lifting I have virtually no appetite after about 2pm… I am doing a lot of juicing and veggie/fruit smoothies but my brain doesn’t appear to want to chew the past few weeks… DH & I went out to dinner last night and I ate 1 bite of this and that & was “stuffed” and felt yucky… I’m sure I’ll be back into eating when I go home next week- stress is usually a food time for me. [font/ book antiqua]

[i ]TEDDYGIRL [font/ book tahoma]
[i ] Well aren’t you the stingy one! LOL ~ You cant find a man like Ted and NOT share with your BFF’s!!!! I am very happy to hear that you are still OFF sleeping pills…. They only take care of the symptom not the actual problem… I think Ted has something to do with filling a need- what ya think??? LOL [font/ book antiqua]

[i ]WENDY - X [font/ book tahoma]
[i ] {{{{{{{{{HUGGERS!}}}}}}}}}}} Your post wasn’t self absorbed at all my dear… I think we all need to just let it out sometimes about how we are feeling with injuries/sickness/family issues…. It was just YOUR TURN! LOL ~ As far as mom/sister…. That’s the dynamics of it- My sister goes into tirades about me/mom issues- I go into them about her/mom issues… Sibling stuff is the hardest to deal with I think… Deep Breathes! [i ]Hope you enjoy the October Rotation! Did you order new series? I kinda got excited when I saw Cathe post this because it means that the new series wil be really different in terms of heavy weight work! That’ll be TWO that do what I love- HEAVY! [i ]AMY [font/ book tahoma]
[i ]So happy to hear that chewing isn’t causing any major shifts in your body at this point! You go girl!!! My lawns look like cra* too but I don’t care! [i ]Gosh my heart lifted seeing your post this morning! You are so missed when you take a break from us! I LOVE your rotation!!!! MY PT is telling me that push pull is the only way she personally advises clients to work out- I am printing your rotation and making a generic copy as well for the future!!! Thank you for posting it! Your Jasper trip sounded great! I’m glad you are taking time to get away and enjoy the great outdoors before snow & cold hits hard. I do think you’re smart about getting that elbow looked at- better to be safe than Traci- I mean sorry… LOL! ~ My lower body likes the focus and daily variety in the work: Good news is that my legs & thighs are down 1” – bad news is that I cant keep up with 6 days a week of lower forever! LOL [font/ book antiqua]

OK - Unless someone posts soon I'll have no excuse not to do something else! HURRY!!!!! POST POST POST!:7

Rotation: MIS/week IV
Am: Low Max/completed
PM: ?????????????????x(

Tracie: hey you! okay you can use him only a few hours tho, BM2 you already know how I feel about it, I have a love/hate passion for SE. Haven't done since I got Mr. Charley Horse in my calf, actually, I haven't done any step workouts, I decided today was the day and NO charley horse thank goodness. Me taking minerals for that little problem

Research:
Magnesium, is good for fatigue, helps restore energy level, helpful for nervousness, anxiety, insomnia and muscle cramps. Required doses for woman 250mg and menopausal women like myself:D should take 350mg, for two weeks, so I’m doubling up this week, one in the morning and one at night.

I have a dentist appt @ 3:30 today, not sure if I’ll be able to complete PM workout if so thinking about doing Strike Zone, Workout last night hm....,being honest when I got home I did not feel like pushing ANYTHING out:+ :+ but I did. GS push-ups only completed 80 on me toes, need to build strenght back, okay me check in later

Popping on to wave as I head out the door to my yoga class. My good news of the day is my new mattress will be here late this afternoon...Yea! So I will spend a lot of time today washing all my linens so that they will be all clean to go on my new soft bed. I also have an appointment with my attorney this afternoon. I hope that goes okay. Also on a good note...when I did my monthly measurements yesterday everything stayed the same...except...I dropped an inch in each of my thighs! Now, that is good news!

Nicole...So glad your boys are able to stay at the same school....It is tough to change schools on them.

Cheryl...Glad your trip to NY went with out a hitch...Have fun in the big city!

Tracy...So sorry you have a yucky day ahead...I am sending calming vibes to the folks you are meeting with.

Teddygirl...You are the woman with your 80 push ups! Think how many you will be able to do when you get those dreads!

Traci...Have fun with the washer guy today. Hope you don't get a shot of plumber's butt! I know what you mean about BM2...I just can't do that long of a workout...even though I like all of it in parts. Guess it's good we have those premixes to chose from! I think it would be great if XDH started getting calls from all of you ladies...LOL! He wouldn't know what to do. Have fun with yoga today...sans any dogs. Yoga always makes me feel better...I am sure you will feel good after.

Okay...gotta head out...caught up with everyone else last night...Happy days to all!

Debra

Plant beneficial seeds, do your best and let go---Eion Finn

Good Morning Xers!!

Today my rotation called for S&H Legs, which I don't like, so I subbed the B&G Leg Blast premix. Oh, my! Ow. Cathe sure knows how to torture one with only light weights. There are LOTS of walking lunges and leg preses }( both things I hate (which is why I make myself do them, lol). My HR also got up on some of the moves, so I got some AWT benefit, as well. The one thing I have decided, though, is that days I do LB work in the morning, I HAVE to eat something. My body has adjusted fine to fasted cardio and UB work, but I feel so nauseated every time I do LB work without eating.

Traci-X -- Sorry to hear about your BM2 experience yesterday. That rotation you're doing sure looks fun, though :D I hope you get great results! I also hate doing cardio before weight work... I did order the new series, and I'm excited about it, but I may have to mix and match the weight work first, we'll see ;)

Nicole -- IIRC, there are several who will be doing the X again this winter. I love having company in a rotation, it makes me focus and work hard :D I hope the chiro straightens your back out today and you can get back to normal workouts!

Wendy -- I hope you found time to push play on SOMETHING yesterday!!

SandraX -- I hear ya, I'm totally ready for the 4 day split, too!! It will be a nice change up to my routine and it looks so fun!! I hope your elbow feels better soon, maybe the doc will have some answers.

Debra -- I love that you ladies here like to lift heavy :D It's great! I have another check-in group, and they mix it up way more, so it's nice to see I'm not the only heavy-lifting lady ;)

Hi to everyone else! I hope you have a great Hump Day!

Carol

Morning Xers,

Rotation: LGI8 Week4/Day7
Workout: BBC Chest & Abs / 30 Min Run

I have been thinking of doing a P90X recovery week. I know that this will adjust the way LGI8 is suppose to work. But after all this is my workout. ;-) Have to admit that Core Syn is good for the core.

Tracy, Glad you got in your Yoga before the meeting. Hope your day goes well. Yup I was hoping that I would be able to lose some weight. I'm thinking the eating better help me more than anything.

Traci, Can't say that I blame you for the way you feel about BM2. I don't think that I have ever done the whole thing as is. I have done BM all the way through. :) I would have gained 20 lbs with a 5 course meal. Now I'm glad that my DH doesn't cook. :D

TG, Only 80 push-ups on your toes. :7 Love those push ups, they do wonders for you upper body. Last night I saw this commercial for these push-up bars that rotate (Perfect Push-Up by Body Rev). Just wonder if they wouldn't cause some type of injury to your wrists. Hope your dentist appointment goes well.

Sandra, So good to see that you and your family had a great time on your vacation. I have been waiting anxiously for the 4DS to arrive also. One can only hope that it will be sometime this week. :D Your rotation looks great. Don't know yet about round 3 of the X. Will have to see how I feel after 4DS also. Where are those workouts!!!!

Cheryl, Glad you are having a good trip. Eating clean when you are not at home can be hard. Good job!

Debra, Good news on the arrival of the mattress. Also congrats on the leg measurement. Just wish my legs would do the same thing. :) Hope your appointment with the attorney goes well.

Nicole, Take it easy on that back. Like everyone said we don't want you on the IL. :)

Wendy, You can vent your frustrations at any time. My sisters are all pretty cool, that is probably because I have so many of them. But now my SIL's are another story. I could talk all day about how they want to be the center of attention. :D Hope your day goes better today, and that cold is getting out of your system.

Carol, Have fun with the Oct rotation. I have yet to take a peak at that one. Will have to do that sometime today.

Jeanette, How did your golf go yesterday?

Have a great day!

Laurie

Good morning,
Sounds like everyone is getting with it good. Today was Jari Love's Ripped To The Core. I modified a bit to put less stress on the elbow. Won't be able to get a bike ride in tonite as DH and I are going to visit a friend after work. The friend had shoulder surgery last Friday. WAAAH, my bike riding time is getting limited more, but I knew it would with the golf class. It's all good though.

Not able to get on the computer last night as when I got back from golf class, the garage was dark, house was dark, power out. Power didn't come back on until midnight, but thanks to our new generator, was able to have some lights and such.

Golf class was really fun. I got some help on my driving (again). After putting, pitching and driving practice, headed to the course with 3 college age baseball players. It was fun. We played 3 holes before it got too dark to see. They all could hit the ball way far, but not accurately. Guess those that hit straight want to hit farther, and those that hit far but crooked want to hit straighter. I'm in the hitting straight camp and want more distance. They say it will come. Had some comments on the pink bag from the fellas, but hey, one of them was using pink tees. My new clubs worked out good too.

I won't try to catch up on last night's personals, though I did briefly read them this morning before working out.

Tracy, good workout today. Hope the meeting doesn't head south. Yep, I can see the end of the week from here.

Traci, I too hope you don't have to see any plumber's crack. Can't remember who posted that, but it got me laughing. A real visual. Sorry the workout wasn't so good, but hey, they can't all be good. Tennis must be out for you and your DH too? Is it your right shoulder that is affected? How did Wendell like the new boat? Was he super excited to see you when he came home? LOL re: your sister and the nice meals her DH fixes.

Anointed, that Lowmax workout makes me sweat so much for some reason. Hope the dentist appointment is a breeze for you. My grandma (age 93) has had to have a ton of dental work lately. Her dental insurance doesn't work up here where she is staying. She's spent $$$$thousands already. She's always really cared about her looks and wants her teeth to look nice. At age 93, not sure I would still feel that way. Who knows?

Debra, way to go on the decrease in thighs. I'm hoping to see a difference in a couple of weeks with Slim Series/Jari Love. I really need to stay consistent with my eating. Had a lousy candy bar (who am I kidding, it was good) yesterday before golf class. Great news about the arrival of the new mattress!!! Hope you get a great sleep tonite!

Carol, that B&G workout is a good one, isn't it? I think of Cathe's new workouts, that one is my favorite.

Laurie, golf went really well yesterday. Funny, it's such a mental game too. Kind of depends on who I am with. The prison priest was so into correcting and trying to help, that it didn't help me to have fun. The class is more relaxed. I need to work on staying positive and not doubting myself. The guy that I think I will take lessons from later on is into positive thinking with golf. Core Syn is a good one, isn't it? It'd sure shock my body right now for sure.

Must run, hi to Nicole, Swifty, Amy, Cheryl, Sandra, and Wendy. I don't have time to answer yesterday's posts. Sigh.

Jeanette

:+ on plumbers crack! You guys are crazy! Still waiting- Between 8-12 today.... BORING all this waiting!!!

[i ]LAURIE- XX [font/ book tahoma]
[i ]Hey there skinny woman1 I have the Perfect Push Up Bars and LOVE them! They are just “unstable” enough (because they turn) to force your core to work harder than you ever imagined! Even using while on knees is ultra challenging. My client loves them because she always has Core DOMS after a seesion with them… I had only used them 2x before the injury but am so excited to get back to using regularly… My tender wrists actually feel good using them…. The key until core strength is built up tho is controlled and steady which is how we should be doing pushups anyway (IMO) ~ Nothing wrong at all with a recovery week… You do whats best for your body. [font/ book antiqua]

[i ]JEANETTE - X [font/ book tahoma]
[i ] Hope your friend is recovering nicely… Good for you on still taking care of that Golf Elbow… My understanding is that elbow injuries take a few months to totally heal. No wonder your game improved last night! Showing off for those young bucks??? LOL~ Yep- tennis is on total hold for a while… really irritates me this whole shoulder thing. Wendell LOVED his weekend on the new boat! He didn’t come home Sunday til 7pm! Usually he’s home by 2!! LOL ~ As long as he’s happy I’m happy. [font/ book antiqua]

[i ]TEDDYGIRL [font/ book tahoma]
[i ] Only 80 push ups- WIMP! ROFL…Honey I cant do 20 big girl at this point! I am in total awe!!!!!!! YOU ROCK!!!! [font/ book antiqua]

[i ]CAROL [font/ book tahoma]
[i ]The great part of new series is that Cathe actually did mixes with Weights first… it wouldn’t have been a big deal to Mix n Match it but it just makes it all the better! I have only done SH legs 1x and based on that extensive research I must say that I get greater benefit with all her other leg work. I just never feel like all areas of the leg can be worked in the SH manner without spending 2 hours to do it… Personally my body needs more of the Overall Burn like GS / LL. [font/ book antiqua]

Good morning lady Xers!
Wo/Round 2/Phase2/Week6/Day6/ Kenpo

MIA Tue. returning dress #1 to Macy's. :) that's over with!

:7 :7 < my face due to incredible weather we're having. It's in the 70's, beautiful breeze, blue sky, warm air.

Sent DH off for 3 days on a business trip.:-( this AM. Will miss him.

Yellowstone GF is to call; departing from Toronto to my house maybe today. I can't wait for the free massages:7

Completed workout, colored hair, 4 loads laundry this AM.

Felt like million bucks doing Kenpo. The 8" impact bruise on hip hurtsx( when I do any lunging on that side. Very ouchie Tue during L&B, made it through it.:p

I'll be back for personals! The washing machine is calling one more time!:+

Tracie: Thanks for posting website, girlie is HARD! I’m going to add the One-Month Triceps Blast routine as a add-on triceps are my biggest problem, starting next week, I believe this may be the last week of MIS, not sure which direction I'm headed, maybe do my own thanh, I shall see.

Just wanted to say good morning before taking the boys to school:)

I always miss morning discussions with the East Coasters:(

Going to attempt All Step this morning and then off to the chiro to get his opinion. It feels a little better today but I have been taking it easy so it's to be expected.

Thanks all for the get better wishes!:D

Talk to you all after I workout carefully and take DS's to school!

Nicole

Jeanette: What is it with this workout, I sweat bricks, really. How bless you are to have a grandma :) and how bless grandma:) is to reach the sweet tender age of 93, that is truly awesome. My GF passed away he was going on 106 :) bless his heart:)

There’s nothing wrong with keeping yourself together, what does age have to do with it? Enjoy the day with friends and DH :) :D

Hi!

SH Chest, Power Circuit including back, planks and abs are done. That's a thorough workout.

Tracy - oooh, do Step Blast! That one's fun!! After your meeting, though, you may want to do something more aggressive. Is this how your whole year is going to go?

Traci - I enjoy BM2 as produced, but it's definitely more fun when it's carved up! I don't blame you for not wanting to focus only on the lower body ad infinitum. Is the PT making any difference? How long is s/he estimating it will take to heal? The rotation I made up is really enjoyable. I think I'll keep some sort of version of this for the foreseeable future. So DH got his boat, did he? I saw the ad for those push up bars the other day. It didn't occur to me that they would increase the core work. Very interesting. Our Jasper trip was wonderful. We used to go much more often before the kids arrived. Our hike on Saturday was at the top of a mountain, where everything is snow covered and the lakes are frozen. We even saw a large avalanche rush down over a glacier. As we stood there watching, a ton of snow came rushing across the lake and showered us in a mini-storm. It was an amazing experience.

Jeanette - A pink golf bag?! LMAO! I missed that whole discussion. You rock! No power again last night? Do you live in the Backwoods of Beyond? You seem to lose power frequently. Did they ever get that horrible fire extinguished?

Nicole - How's the back today?

Anointed - good luck with that dental appointment today.

Debra - you have so much going on these days! What would you like me to say to XDH when I call him? I'm glad you might try my rotation. All the planks in the CTX and SH series can only do good things for my core, right?

Laurie - Shall we send out a search party for those workouts? You actually like CoreSyn, huh? You're weird :)

Carol - I like SH legs. It's a nice change from all her workouts with low-pulse lunges, low-ends etc. Just straight, heavy lifting. It did it for the first time in ages, last week, and had doms in my quads and buttocks for about 4 days. I can't remember the last time I had quad doms.

Swift Amy - Do you colour your own hair?

Hello to Wendy, Amy, Lea, and Cheryl. Have a great day! I'm off to grocery shop.
Sandra

Week 2/ Day 10/ S&A:), ARX/ Round 2

Good Morning Ladies,

Yesterday I did half of Plyo and followed it up with Magically Hips. Eoin never felt soooooo good!!!! Those Fifer Scissors make my hip flexors TIGHT! It feels like I get more out of yoga when I'm sore and tight. I mean I can feel the tension (soreness) easily and can place myself in the proper position based on it. I'm more aware and present.:7

I don't know if the cold is getting better or worse. I have to let my head drain couple more hours from sleeping before I can assess.

Why is it that I get the desire to go to the library and other places when I don't have a car? The mechanic says it should be finished by tomorrow. I can't wait!!!

Tracy-X: Nice lower body workout yesterday. I don't have push/pull either. But, knowing you it was tough!!! Are you going to start using your elliptical instead of running once the weather gets colder? You know on back twists... Do you ever grab your foot opposite hand while twisting and turning? I tried that last night and my triceps get in the way! OUCH!!! I don't know if my triceps are too bulky. I know they were too tight. But there was no way it was going to happen last night. Just wondering if that's ever happened to you. Best wishes for today's meeting!!! Oh! I was getting into that starvation mode phase. One of the reasons I started back on the heavy weights. I just had no appetite. I'm already up two pounds. I think it's water retention weight/fat/lactic and not muscle. But, my appetite is finally back to normal.

{{{{Traci-X}}}} I don't think it's all in your head! I mean come on! You've had to deal with PAIN, restless nights, PAIN, and readjusting how you use your arm. Your body is getting shocked just by having to take over in different ways for the daily movements. Okay, I'm no doctor, but take it easy on yourself. Don't be so tough on yourself. Heck, I wouldn't do a thing if that happened to me!!!! My mom had surgery on her shoulder ~5 years ago. She still feels the tightness effects of it every once in awhile. Keep yourself safe!!! Do your personal best and let it go!!! Um, I should have just told you to read your post to Nicole!!! :p :7 LOL on not cleaning for Mr. Magtag Man. Thanks for being so kind about my venting. I spoke to my mom about how I felt. I told her that I extremely admire how she can forgive ds so easily. I admit that I currently struggle with it!!! My sister owes my mom a LOT of $ she borrowed last year. Lied about the reason why she needed it too! I know her husband got a HUGE $$$ bonus plus a huge income tax return. And, she never paid my mom back. She won't bring up that fact. Got mad when I found out as an excuse to stop talking to my mom and me. She acts like if she doesn't talk about it, that $ never existed. She only started talking to me and my mom when she found out we were going to Thailand. Then she had to nerve to cry and demand that my mom buy her a ticket!!!! My mom isn't a rich person. It just makes me sick!!! It's not the $ that bothers me. Although, it does a little since took advantage of my mom's generosity. It's her "never say you're sorry" attitude, jealousy and blaming others to cover her sin that cuts. OMW! I just realized that I was venting AGAIN!!!! I need to get over this... Where's EOIN!!!!!!!

TG: Thanks for the magnesium info. Now, I've gotta look for my horse pills multivitamins.

Debra-X: I tell you, if my car wasn't in the shop, I would have sought out a masseuse without guilt yesterday!!!! OMW! Now that's something to dance and celebrate!!! An inch off each thigh is HUGE!!! Don't hurt yourself jumping up and down on the bed!:+ Did you move your old mattress into the basement for ex to sleep on when he returns?}( I would be so happy for my mom if she moved back to Thailand. She loves it there. She never wanted to leave. I think she secretly wished my father would move there instead. Anyhow, even though she has a lot of Thai friends in Florida, it's not the same. She's very self conscious about her English and has never fully understood grasped America's culture.

Traci-X: I'll have to check out the triceps article today!

Laurie-XX: ^^5^^ on the weight loss!!!! You've peaked my interest in LGI8. I do get tired with P90X. CS is sooo good! It gives me spinal doms almost every time! I only have one sister. I wonder if it would have been easier if I had more.

Carol: Look at you waving your often rested finger at me! LOLOLOLOL Thanks for the belly laugh! Now go eat SOMETHING!!!!:+

Jeanette-X: That generator sure comes in handy! I hate it when our electricity goes out. I'm so spoiled with modern technology! ROFL about the guy's pink tee. OH! Is he your new gay?}( You're becoming quite popular with the golf! How great that your grandmother still cares about her teeth! It might be more practical than cosmetic in her mind. It might help her to chew. From my limited understanding, dentures significantly reduces your ability to chew foods.

Nicole-X: Didn't you see that chiro yet? What are you waiting for? Take it easy!!! You only have one spine!!!!!!! Thanks for the well wishes too! I love to hear y'all give me 101 reasons to take a rest day when y'all don't use your excuses!:p :+ ;)

Amy-X: Your AM is AWESOME! Come over here when your done with your laundry. I've got a few loads that needs washed too! Ahhh, do you have a hard time sleeping when dh is away? Who will capture the bat now? I hope he trained dd to do it in his absence! :7

Amy: How's the transition diet working?

Cheryl: I wouldn't necessarily call my dancing ninja pj pants cute. Phil hates them! LOL But, the flannel has thinned over the years and they are so comfortable. They were eldest ds's pjs when he was 14!

Sandra-X: I forgot you can freeze cakes. Thanks for explaining the frosting. I made a basket weave once. Even with a thicker weave, it's still time consuming!!! We're leaving Nov.21st. I told my mom we were going to Chaing Mai. At first, she tried saying it was too expensive. That wasn't going to work. It might be too expensive compared to a rural area. But, a decent hotel room would only be $10 a night! Everything is pretty much cheaper there. For instance, I'll be able to call home for 1 cent a minute using one of their phone cards!!! See just laughed when she realized that she was caught! See, this is why I'm learning as much as I can about the country before we go. She'll try to get me to think something else if she doesn't want to do it!

Lea-X: Have you decided if you'll do another round of the X?

Well, ladies, gotta go make friends with the neti pot. Hi to all I've missed! Didn't mean to forget anyone if I did.

Ballistic Hugs to ALL!

Good morning girls. How are we doing today? I actually worked out today, I'm so happy. YAY!! I did GS back, shoulders, biceps and SH abs. Tomorrow I will do Power 90 plyo legs. I decided not to start my X rotation yet, since I have to build my strength back up.

Tracy - Good job doing yoga this am to get your mind ready for a potentially negative day. I hope you get to do Step Blast today. That is so fun.

Traci - My RFTB!!! I think that the X spoiled us into getting all of our workout in 60 minutes(except for the dern yoga). 90 minutes is a long time. I too like the mish mosh on BM2(I can't help to think like a kid on that one:p ). Have fun with the washer dude, and thank you for the healing vibes. They worked!!

Teddygirl - Only 80 push ups on your toes? What is wrong with you:+ ? I personally think that is fantastic. Good job. Good luck at the dentist.

Debra - Have a great yoga workout. Great job on the inch drop. How exciting is that? Ahhh...and new mattresses. I hope that you get a great night's sleep out of it.

Laurie - Oooohhhh...do the recovery week. I love X recovery week. Lots of yoga and core. Yummy.

Carol - I am glad that B&G did you in;-) . I have to purchase that one.

Jeanette - You still amaze me with how many hours in the day you have to do all of these things. I am so glad that your golf went well. Sorry that you can't ride your bike today, but what good friends you and your dh are. Thank you for the compliments on the boys. And the advice on the elbow. It is the same injury from way back when and flares up when it wants to.

Nicole - ((HUGS)) and hope the chiro can help. Not fun having an injury and chasing lil ones around. We are going to be up around you, maybe not so close, this weekend. It's DS1 birthday and he wants to go to Legoland. We go every year. Should be fun.

Swifty - My goodness. Can I have your energy? Sorry to hear about DH. I always miss mine when he goes away. I hope that your bruise goes away and quick.

Sandra - Your workout sounded lovely today. I am so glad that you had a good trip. The hike sounded like a lot of fun. It's a lot of fun when your kids enjoy it too, isn't it?

I think that catches me up from this morning. Hi to everyone behind me. Take care.

Lea

Wendy - you snuck in behind me. I am so sorry that you are feeling sick. Is the neti pot helping at all? What helps for me sometimes is the Yogi Tea. They have teas for colds and I drink a lot of it when I am sick. (((HUGS))) LOL on the desire to go places when you don't have a car. Isn't that the way it always works??? Take care of yourself.

Lea

Lea-X: Thanks for the tips. I think the neti-pot is helping a little. It helps more in the morning when I've got the thick stuff clogging up my head. But, I do question if it helps the thin stuff caused by a virus. It helps with getting the pollen/dust that aggravate allergies too. All in all, I'll do everything within reason that will help. I'll have to look for Yogi Tea. What exactly is Yogi Tea? I have some green tea I'll be drinking as soon as my reheated DDcoffee that Phil got me last night is finished. I hate being motorless!!!!!

Sandra-X: I just wanted to tell you some things about Thailand before your parents leave. I found out that the locals charge hugely inflated prices to farangs (foreiners) and luk Kreungs (half Thais) than they do 100% Thais. Which is why I'll be keeping my English speaking mouth shut until my mom bargains the price for a taxi, tuk-tuk driver, laundry service, jewelery, 2nd hand phone, hotel room, etc. It's another reason why I'm getting a Thai id card and passport. (They charge different admissions for the zoos, museums, etc to farangs than they do locals.) Anyhow, make sure they know to not get in a taxi with a impostor. Make sure the taxi is a metered taxi. I'm not sure if the rest of the country besides Bangkok are required to have metered taxis. But, have your dad write down the license number on a pad and take pictures BEFORE getting in any taxi. There's been robberies (one incident of murder) and scams associated with taxi cab drivers. They can disregard this if they exclusively use the hotel's taxi service.

Okay, gotta go and get some homeschooling done. I won't be on much in the evenings since I'm homeschooling most of the subjects at night. I have to teach Phil math and Spaulding type phonics and spelling (both highly teacher intensive curriculum) while I'm away. His mom will be teaching the scripted, easier subjects (history and English).

Have a fantastic day ladies!

Ballistic Hugs!

Lea: Nice workout today:) 80 push-ups, hm...I aint gonna lie, is a lot especially for me. The only way I am ABLE to do them, I take longer breaks between sets, flat out:) I also noticed the more I do the more I can do, crazy, huh! but I get stronger each time:)

Sandra: Hey woman, were have you been? missed you:) Your workout today, was absolutely thorough, Nice work:)

Swifty: You are just whizzing right along hard to believe you are on week 6. You rock babe!
