Good Evening!

Waiting for the papaya salad and sticky rice to digest before I push play. I ordered dessert tonight. Sweet rice cooked in coconut milk wrapped around a piece of banana, topped with black beans steamed inside in a large banana leaf. Yum :9 I feel heavy! I think the owner knows to tell the cook that he's cooking for another Thai. They used lime instead of lemon, and my nose broke out in a beads of sweat for once. I'll have to call my mom and tell her. We're always making fun of Thai restaurants who cook for Americans. No offense, but I don't want my Thai food Americanized!!!

Teddygirl: I don't quite understand what happened with your bank. Hope everything gets fixed asap. Phil's parents gave us a large check when we were first married. The bank accidentally deposited it into their account instead of ours. LOL Thankfully, I still had the deposit slip in my purse. Got it fixed without any problems.

Amy: Have the DOMS left or did Kenpo make them worse?

Nicole: You are so cute! Don't let dh know I'm encouraging you. He might feel the need to protect you from me!!! I wouldn't blame him either. ;-) Too bad you couldn't indulge in a little retail therapy today. There's always time to shop. :) Congrats on coming back from recovery week stronger. I found that I could do ARX better after my recovery week too. I'm hoping that I can do it all when I hit Phase 3.

Debra-X: Hope the nap helped you feel better!

I best go push play, take a shower, and watch Shear Genius.

Hi,

Good day at work today, then took Mom shopping for the BBQ meat. I have this screaming pork rib recipe that I'll be preparing tomorrow night after the bike club meeting. Can't wait to make that.

Laurie, your workout today sounded fun. What weight body bar do you use? Will a barbell without weights work for it? Enjoy your faire this weekend. Sounds fun!

Lily, what workouts did you do of Cathe's? Sounds like you must really be pushing some weights around. I never did push as hard with my Cathe weight works as I did with the X. Never had arm pump until my X workouts.

Teddygirl, is a reunion with your X in the future? Hope your day today starts getting better. Some days are just like that.

Debra, sorry your cold is still there. Hope you don't get a cough. My coughs go on and on and on.

Traci, sounds like things are better in your world. I feel much better with TTOM finally underway. I have short periods, usually no more than 3 days, but they fall about 23 days apart, still very regular at age 48. I know of a guy that had his colon perforated while having a colonoscopy. Not a good thing, in the hospital for a long time, bad, bad deal.

Amy, lawn service sounds good. Anxious to get back to your job? Did the Legs & Back workout give you DOMS?

Wendy, so is your new Shiva too easy? Is it her latest one, the one that Tracy has been doing? I love Shavasana! My favorite move, or "corpse pose" in plain English. I am so looking forward to the whole weekend, including Friday as I have that off from work too, along with my DH. TRACI, DON'T READ THIS: I will make my caramel apple dumplings in the dutch oven outside for dessert, with a scoop of vanilla ice cream on top. The CC will be for next week. Nope, we're not having frozen peas with any upcoming meal. LOL! Beans for part of your dessert? Cannot comprehend that with bananas and coconut. I just went back and read your post to me from last night. Yes, my DS is a real tease, but he loves his mama. Thanks for the congrats on the bike ride last night. I was tickled with that. It always feels so hard while you are riding and you think that you are out of shape, but when you get done, the time is better. It is like they say, "it doesn't get easier, you just get faster". I'm feeling very satisfied with my fitness right now and am finally feeling like I don't have to do everything exactly right while working out, like doing a perfect step routine or missing some reps because I'm giving my DH a hug goodbye. It's a good place to be and hopefully, I'll hold onto these feelings of satisfaction. 34 mph seemed fast when I first started riding but not anymore. I remember hitting 43 mph coming down a hill once and then hit a washboardy piece of road and felt like I was going to go down. Scared me big time and I started taking it much easier. I usually don't let it go real fast unless I know what the road ahead is like surface wise. I try to never think about blowouts as they are so rare. Haven't ordered any more workout clothes yet, but the mood should strike pretty soon, it usually does.

Nicole, I always got a good arm pump from B&B. Never had that before I started the X. Haven't had it since either. My arms are lean still, just not as big, which I like better actually.

Cheryl, good job on your workout today! You're making me want to do a S&H rotation sometime.

Hi there...

Just finished ordering LOTS of new workout dvds....I think Traci must have given me some sort of illness! LOL For my workout today...which let me add did not happen until 7pm...I did The method Standing Pilates which I got from Flickety Fit. I am not sure if this is one I will buy, but I enjoyed it as something different. I just didn't think I was ready for a cardio workout today as my chest is still feeling tight. DD is feeling better, but she will have to go back to the doctor next week since her lungs are still not completely clear.

Wendy...No...no nap for me today. I did get DD's room cleaned out..and also got her some new storage cabinets from Hobby Lobby...I love that place! So funny about you and the Thai food....I am sure we Americans make lots of ethnic food incorrectly!

Nicole...Sounds like you had a busy day. Glad you enjoyed BB today!

Cheryl...You crazy woman...You can't sub on the first workout! You must follow program at least during the first phase! You will not see the results you are looking for if you don't follow Tony. With that being said, I also missed my flies...but now after the X I can go much heavier with my weights! I am glad that you got a good workout...and I am sure you will be feeling it tomorrow.

Okay...nighty-night! I am hoping to get a bike ride in tomorrow along with my upper body part of the day.
