Just starting us off. I think I caught up with almost everyone last night, but I'll go check. I'm ooking forward to seeing the new X group banner. I've got my seat in the front row cheering section.

Hi all,

Today is PLB, but I won't be doing the floor work, surprise, surprise, because I'm counting my yoga as floor work. I may do a short KB as a warm up; either CTX KB or the 07KB. Then I'll do some yoga.

Cathe sure is getting commercialized. I'm not sure that I like it.

Right after I fell asleep last night DH woke me up because our old dog was having a siezure. She had a couple 2.5 years ago and hasn't had one since. After spending a lot of money, they couldn't figure out any cause for them. I almost dreaded getting up this morning for fear she was dead, but she is still plugging along. She 15.5, so I'm expecting anything.

Debra - How was the Mexican food? We have a running joke here that we're not eating Mexican unless I use cilantro. Please let me know if you get any other yoga dvds that are worth getting.

Jeanette - DS finally got his rock buggy running. After issues with getting the wrong engine. I think he learned some valuable lessons. I'll post a picture. He built it completely from nothing. It is quite amazing.

Off to work again. The heat has been broken and stuck on high so some rooms, including mine have been close to 90. It really is unbearable.

I have scanned the posts yesterdayy and am just oozing with joy!:eek: :7 :eek: :7 :eek: :7 Look at the group we have starting on 26th! How fun will this be??? Modifications, add-ons etc... its ALL GOOD! the goal is to get buff & have a good time sharing all the trials, triumphs!!!!! WoooooooHooooooooo:7 :7 :7 For me X is only doable if I am part of a group actually going thru it- if that makes me a weenie I dont care!:p

Today will be Slo Mo Legs - I NEED a good lower workout today so I may also add on 4DS HIS or 4DS KB... I need my cardio to help balance out poor food choices the last 2 weeks... my butt is bigger than last week according to my jeans. x(

CLARIFICATION: NO I DID NOT DO/ATTEMPT ANY HEADSTANDS!!!! I am the one that thinks its ridiculous !!!! Now if I had one of those contraptions you belt yourself on that flips you over- fine... I do not have any desire at all to stand on my friggin head!:p :eek: :p :eek:

For all who asked... I thouroughly am enjoying my yoga every other day. It takes the first 20 minutes before I feel like my heads really in it but once there I am gung ho! I still need to balance cardio/strength/yoga and my head isnt all that into doubles at this point but we shall see- its all good! I'll still be doing yoga when I start X

Tracy: Got the new Shiva ordered so THANKS!!! It was only 11 bucks- my budget can handle that... PLB sounds like a goodie! I'll be doing Slo Mo Legs using some of the modifications Amy sggested. The Cathe/commercialized comment-I think I missed something... is it the calendar hype? Do share!!! Bless you and the sick baby!!! I am so sorry... that feeling of walking into rooms not knowing what you'll find is just horrid. I really am sorry. ;( ;( ;( ~ I think I'd take a hammer to the thermostat woman! Thats like experiencing HE}( }( !

The part that makes it do-able is the creative modifications we can do!!! Shoot we can lift with Tony no problem!!! I actually LOVE the leg work too but thats only because he slimmed my legs WAAAY down last time... This shall be a blast! }( LOL on Ice/Eskimos- you know I've heard that all my life but actual "sales" as work was horrid! I dislike having to meet quotas and be forced to sell for profit... I like talking about what I love and if that "sells" something then so be it... Maybe thats why I'm not a wealthy woman? ~ It must be Xer Bloat Week x( We'll get thru it! I have read that if you stay pretty regular with ttom during peri then meno is actually a breeze... many woman sail right thru it - YOU GOT GOOD GENES! ~ Glad your elbow is getting better... I have good days & bad...yesterday not so good but a long session of icing workied wonders... Its just a frustratingly slow process isnt it?

Naked yoga or ANY workout- EWWWWWWWWWWW:eek: Good lord I wouldnt be able to stop my incessant verbal slamming of my body! Daily Dose of Bliss + Run sounded terrific! I'm sure you appreciate the company on the run as well. ~ Are we EVER gonna get to see some flexed picks - seems like your body has completely cheanged in past 8 months... would love to oooh & ahhhhh if you ever feel so inclined to share. ;-)

we are sure strggling to get in holiday spirit here... we are breaking heat records...today is to be 91! Can you believe it? NOT NORMAL even for us. LOL on all Cathe's classic steps... I have The Hits + Classics and I tell ya once was plenty... it was good for seeing Cathe & motivating because f ow she has gottens o much healthier & strong with age but must say I will never have them out to actually workout with... LOL on seeing if clean eating makes a diff! LOLOLOL - Will we have an AHA moment???? Seriously- Phase 1 & 2 I was a saint on eating and thats when I saw the most dramatic results.... My biggest hurdle this time is I eat no animal protein except fish... Thats ALOT OF FISH to meet the X Dietary Standards! I dont process beans at all so thats out... hmmmmmmmm maybe i'll be re-introducing protein shakes although i consider those processed foods... suggestions? ~ ME TOOO on the bloat!!! YUK! We ate out last night..... salty fried greasy foods.... I'm feelin' it BIG TIME today!

I start at the nottom so I have the latest info - I also read the last chapter of EVERY BOOK I read before beginning the book... Isnt that CRAZY??? Wheres Freud? ~ Have fun at grocery store today- King of Queens is funny- I never watched it until it went off the air - DH doesnt like it- He says it teaches me how to manipulate him!:7 ~~~ I am just doing jumping jacks with some tuck jumps thrown in about your decision (or was it ours?) to join us at the Start Line on November 26th!!! YOU KNOW this will be a total blast... Figure out that pull up bar situation- there shall be no excuses! ~ My shoulder will be a small issue with X- I am probaly going to go for Lean this time (look, not rotation) - I think all pushups week one will be on my toes until I see how I handle it... the shoulder work will just be with lighter weights and higher reps... anything that doesnt feel right I shall reduce weights... Arent you super excited at all the support you'll have going thru X with you? It REALLY makes a world of difference doing it in harmony...its like an energy gets created and you just CANT not do your planned workout- it really is something to experience.

Good Morning Xers!!

I did finally find the remote... at 9PM last night }( Oh well, it's found now so I have the UB premix of 4DS waiting for after school work :D I've threatened the kids within an inch of their lives, lol, that if the remote is missing when I start P90X, they won't want to face me! ha ha ha (that's my evil laugh)

Wendy -- My DH is a complete geek, so we, of course, have (currently hooked up) a PS2, original XBox, XBox 360 and the Wii, lol. Thanks for the idea, but b/c everything is hooked up to one TV (upstairs), the thought of plugging it in downstairs in my workout space is daunting. It might have worked on the DVD drive of the computer, especially with our new monitor, but that would've have required thought, which I didn't have too much of yesterday ;-) Do you have any experience with Teaching the Classics? I was looking at that one this morning (I did finally get on the IEW yahoo group, too, thanks for the heads up!). Hopefully your flight on T-giving will be quiet with everyone else celebrating! How long will it take you to get from here to there total? Are you flying out of Philly?

Debra -- Thanks for the tips :D I've actually never done PlyoX or Kenpo, so I'll definitely stick to Tony for all of Phase 1 :D I'm hoping to do doubles in Phase 2, with the added cardio being Cathe. If I get really sick of Tony, though, I'll sub his cardio at some point late in the game, too.

Sandra -- That's a brilliant plan!! I love the idea of a locator beep for remotes :D :D :D

Nicole -- I'm definitely IN for the X rotation :D

Traci-X -- I love your banner and teams :D I could definitely use some leg slimming (I suffer from "Thunder Thighs") and hearing about your great results last time is very motivating! I'm definitely looking forward to having the push of the team. The last time I did a 90 day rotation with a check-in group (it was the Firm 90 day rotation, but I subbed with Cathe quite a bit), I had no problem sticking to every single workout. I'm THERE with you all!!

Good morning,
Today was Supersets for me. Now this one is much more fun than Step Jam. The concentration bicep work in this one is tough. The preacher curls was tough too as my stability ball has bumps on it so I have to be careful not to put an elbow into a bump. None of the front shoulder raises tweaked my elbow injury at all, but I went pretty light. It is definitely feeling much better, which I am thankful for. Oh yeah, my inner thigh is super tight and sore, more like a cramp waiting to happen. This is from my golf lesson on Monday, the follow thru. I tell you, golf has been tougher on my body than horseback riding LOL!

Tracy, so sorry about your dog. Hope she is okay today. 15 1/2 seems pretty old. What breed of dog is she? Can't wait to see the picture of your son's rock buggy. I would like to pass the pic on to my son to see. I'm so proud of kids that have the mechanical skills to create and build. So many don't nowadays, or don't have anyone that ever showed them how to work on cars, appliances, etc. Sorry it is so hot in your house. I thought you heated with wood? I get sooooo cranky when I'm too warm. Hope you get it repaired soon.

Traci, I'm thinking you are right, group motivation is really needed for the X for me. Wow to those that complete it without the group (Swifty, Laurie, Nicole). I'm getting a little bit more excited. Pleased that we are starting after Thanksgiving though. That's cool that you are enjoying the yoga more. Guess I will now not feel guilty throwing it in the rotation as Tony says we need it. Good to know that my regular periods are a good indicator of an easier menopause. Actually, mom and grandma breezed thru theirs. Mom can only remember a few hot flashes. Hope the shoulder is getting better little by little. Ooooh, your eating fish just reminded me that yesterday a guy at work brought me an Eagle Lake trout, 4#, freshly caught. I forgot to bring it home with me. Oh well, at least I put it in the fridge at work and didn't leave it sitting on the edge of my desk.

Debra, have fun on the hike. Don't forget the blanket...

Carol, glad you are doing the X too. I have the thunder thighs thing too. Big muscles underneath, with too much jiggle on top.

Round2/Phase3/Week12/Day6/ Kenpo complete

Happy hump day to lady xers! My day off work outside the house. Completed 1 pan of lasanga- now in the oven for tonight's supper. One load laundry and dishwasher is a washin'.

Yesterday DH took off from his regular job (he still instructed the 6:15A spin). Then shot off to take PE with DD's 1st grade class. Invited parents took part in various circuits :).

The afternoon, DH and I raked our "own" leaves. It was gorgeous yesterday. DH cut the lawn with the push mower, I watched, (he had his shirt off;)

I hit the ACE book and am really struggling with the concepts and theories. Traci, study time is as long as you like. Our goal is 1 yr or less.

I have a meeting with the Fitness Director of the Y where DH spins. She and I will talk about becoming a group fitness instructor and beginning PT training once certified.:)

DH has made a name for himself in past 2 yr. as spin instructor. His class is nearly filled. It's a mix of young, middle age, and older. I've taken his class and it's toughx(

Debra, woo hoo! Hiking with a buddy, have fun! Tell us all about it when you return. Did you pack a lunch? I love to sit on a warm rock and talk and breathe in the fresh air while breaking for lunch.:7

Good morning,

No workout for me this morning, today is going to be my rest day for the week. I didn’t get home untill 9:30 last night, boy was I tired my back was hurting not sure why probably from not getting a break I went from work to my sister home she was running a litle late from shopping errands, so I went shoe shopping, looking for a pair of brown and black, I did find brown ones. Drove back to sis house and off we went to Brecksville that was a 20 minute drive.

Tonight, grocery shopping for Thanksgiving (me think) I’m cooking.

Rotation: LGI8 Week8/Day7 (Last Day!!!)
Workout: BBC Chest & Abs / Kathy Smith Peak Fat Burning

I will have the LGI8 results for posting on Saturday morning. Unless I have time tomorrow morning, but I don't think I will be doing measurements. Will be a busy day getting everyone out the door on time.

Guess I'm officially going on Round 3 of the X. :D I have to now that everyone else is going for their XX status. :D I'm excited that I will be getting this round in with others. Much more fun. ;-)

The new furniture arrived already. Dh called about 8:15 this morning. I'm guessing our house must have been first on the list, because the time they gave was 8:30 to 11:00. DH says I need to arrange the furniture as I see fit. ;-) Of course that is the case. Realized that I need new lamps also. :D

Tracy, I loved the header this morning. Made me :D . Sorry to hear about your dog. 15-1/2 is getting very elderly for a dog. Had to LOL about the non floor work in PLB. The floorwork in that one has to be the toughest. Can't stand it myself. :D Oh only working 4 days out of the week would be good too. Just having one day to myself at home would be so productive for me.

Traci, You mean to tell me that you don't enjoy all the blood in your body rushing into your head. :7 :7 :7 Don't remember what yoga DVD I was doing, that the instructor said it was good for the blood to flow to my head. :7 :7 I was like YA right! Oooh I like being on team triple play. To bad Amy is just finishing her round 2, then I wouldn't be the only member. :D I just love all the team names.

Carol, Glad you found that remote. That thing was AWOL for a long time. :7 Glad you will be starting your first round with all the rest of us crazy ladies.

Jeanette, So you are joining the group also? :D If you do the Lean Rotation it looks like Nicole would be joining you on that one too. Take care of that leg. Poor Tillie! Why do all these other critters think she is a tasty treat!

Debra, Hope your hike is a good one. Mexican food. :9 Was it very tasty?

Wendy, Leaving on T-Day will be interesting. I think your blog is going to be a hoot, and I can't wait to read the adventures of The Crazy Asian!! :7

TG, Yipee on joining us on the X. You can do it with all of us being put through the paces also! I will be trying adding in some short cardio when I have the time also. So it will be a modified doubles for me.

Lea, Glad that the yoga is helping you. It sure is a good all over workout for the body. The best thing that P90X did for me was get me interested in Yoga.

Swifty, I loved the way my back looked after I was done also. I didn't do any pull-ups, just used the bands. And the results where amazing. I will be using the bands again, because I have no ceiling height or doors in my basement. Congrats on the PT studies. Sounds like you are getting into something that you will enjoy.

Sandra, Oh I would love to have a job that I could work from home. :D I will have to think of all the things that I enjoy, or could possibly do from home. :D I have to say that I like our Super Walmart alot. Being in a smaller community our Wallyworld is very clean and nice.

Nicole, I think the clean eating and the Lean Rotation will be a good one, since (as I have found) eating is 90% of the battle. ;-) Having a large house can be a pain in the you know what. I have to clean the dang thing, and I am not a good housekeeper. I'm thinking Cami is going to enjoy daycare also. Thursdays is usually the one day of the week my DH goes in early to work. So she is in her kennel until oldest DD gets home from school. Then she is all wound up. So this will be better for her to run around with other dogs, and probably end up sleeping all day on Friday.

Good morning,

This morning I did the 4DS Chest, Shoulders, Triceps premix. Combining those sections together makes all of them much harder. I managed to work my triceps to failure a few times. Then I did the LIS/HIS cardio combo. I nailed all of the choreo this time around, and had a lot of fun. I truly enjoy that workout.

Tracy @@@@@ Cheering us on? We'll suck you in soon enough :) Oh my, that's so sad about your dog! I know what you mean about being ready to expect anything, but it still can't be easy to see it happen. If "anything" does happen soon, then I hope she doesn't suffer. What do you mean about Cathe getting commercialized? I think here in Canada we see nil of that. It's rare for anyone to have even heard of her here.

Traci $$$$$ You all are going to have to pull me through this round, too. I want to do it, but I don't want to do it for 13 weeks. Yet, 13 weeks is about how long it takes to create real results. So, to keep plugging to the end, I'll need some help. You didn't attempt the headstands? I sometimes skip it when I do that hip opening flow, too. And I never attempt it away from the wall, like she does. Her new Radiant Heart dvd was to have come out on Nov 13. I should go and order it. You're going Lean this time, huh? Call me crazy, but is that really an effective approach to take? I mean, does it really work? If you say yes, then I might do it, too. I feel like it's cheating, because you get to lift lighter. And will it create visible results, for someone (us!) who have been lifting regularly for years? I'm so glad I could motivate you to do air jacks and tuck jumps! LOL!!

Debra %%%%% Enjoy your hike! Did you remember to bring along the SAS manual?

Carol ^^^^^ I'm glad you think my idea is brilliant, although quite frankly, I think it's pretty obvious. Do the people that invent tvs not ever watch tv? Or are they all men, with universal remotes glued to their palms? Woohoo!! You're Xing it with us! Yay!!!!

Jeanette &&&&&& I might do Push Pull and Supersets next week, before starting the X. I love those two workouts, for the fun factor. If it helps to convince you to jump aboard with us, remind yourself how much you liked your core from ARX. Also, if I find boredom setting in, I may take a break and do a week or two of Cathe, then come back to it. I probably won't even do the X recovery weeks, but do some of Cathe's cardios and light/endurance weights. I'm going to focus on the upper body weights and play around with the rest.

Amy ***** Oooh, you're going to finish Round 2 exactly in time to start Round 3 ;) I like your plan about the Y. DH is a spin instructor? Coooooool. You all must be a fit-looking couple! Your yard scenario yesterday sounded so nice. Did he toss you romantically into the pile of leaves and....well, you can guess the rest...? That would have made the day complete.

Nicole +++++ You're starting with us on the 26th? Hot diggity! I hope your back cooperates. We don't have Target here at all, not even a mini-one. I hear good things about it, and would like to see what all the fuss is about.

Just had a great LOWER day.... Slo Mo Legs with all the modifications GREAT workout - then did BC(4DS) - That topped of the legs ... fun fun fun!

Circuit Max done!

I was tired today so CM was just right. I am afraid that my cardio lately has been a bit lacking. I feel just plain worn out but I think it's from not pushing myself rather than the opposite.

I am looking forward to another round of the X. It will be good and I'm pretty sure I'll do a Lean Rotation this time. I wanted to do that by the end of the last rotation so it should be just the ticket. I will definitely do doubles of yoga this time.

DH is gone to work and I miss him. I hope his first day back isn't too frantic. I'm glad I have some time to myself though because we're still in the "nice" stage of hid return. You know the stage where you don't try to pick fights:p I hope it lasts for awhile still.


*Tracy, I'm glad you were able to get a run in yesterday. I bet that felt good. It must be nice to have a partner. It sounds like you're really close to both of your boys. I hope it's the same way for me and my boys. Hopefully your FIL's salt intake will go down. I guess your nephew knows now, huh? Bummer you won't be doing the X with us. I understand about the upper body though because that's how I felt the last time I did the X. I think a lean rotation will help this time around. I hope your dog is feeling better today. I used to have a dg that did the same thing, scary!


*Traci-X, Way to start the X bandwagon! It looks like everyone is jumping on for a ride:) It will be nice to have all of us doing it together. I'll be joining you with a Lean Rotation. We need to support each other big time with our eating too. You must get the Eat Clean Diet Cookbook. Lots of good, easy recipes. I'm right there with you on headstands. My new yoga does a fully supported headstand modification that works well. You get blood flow to the brain without being upside down. I am so glad you like the yoga! Welcome to the yoga guru group;) Glad you are suffering through the heat with me. It's supposed to be gone by Friday so I'm keeping my fingers crossed. Oh, you're also bloated with me, how nice:) My Meez is my new muse.


*Debra, I hope you have fun with CB hiking. Does the guy work or is he on hiatus to spend exorbitant amounts of time with you;) I'm glad marriage is not on his list of things to do! That's the last thing you need. Will your XDH still be coming in December? I hope it all gets worked out smoothly and quickly.


*Jeanette, Oh, now you'll for sure have to take some pictures when you get your new gear:) You'll get the timing down and then it'll be like second nature. I sure hope you boss stays on top of your raise. Isn't it amazing how much they'll drag their feet on stuff like that. How nice to get a little walk in with some good music along for the ride. It's been awhile since I have done SS. I'll have to do all of my favorite workouts next week before the next X round starts. Are you doing it with us? It's going to be so fun. Good Vibes for all the Dr visits today! YES I am jazzed about our start of X as well.... once I made the decision to just do it I was relieved..I do have to look at lean... I dont think I'll be doing the actual Lean Rotation as he omits Legs & back & that is a very good one for my thunder thighs... I think he includes Core Syn too? YUK! LOLOLOL..... perhaps its an annual event spending Holidays with Tony and rest of year with Cathe. ;) Doesnt take my body long to get out of cardio mode either... I think its because my muscle brain takes over and anything that causes a sweat is a major cardio event in my mind!

I have no idea what I feel like doing today. I might not work out at all. Maybe, I'll spin for a workout later? I couldn't find Shiva last night. I hope I didn't leave her at MIL's house. I ended up spending quality time with dh instead. }( :+

It looks like rain today. I hung the smelly, toxic clothes in my upstairs bathroom. Should dry in a couple of hours. Then all will be safe again.

Lea-X: I remember the first time Phil did Yoga-X. He exclaime, "This is CRAZY! But, I like it.":7 Your dh will become more flexible if he continues yoga. Are you sure you want to sit in the cheering section? Come on! Join us!!!! It'll be fun! We can all look for Dreya's cellulite and watch Dominique explode on crack!

AmyX-soon to be XX: You should be proud of yourself! You look hot! It's not easy doing one round, much less two! You could probably do round three in your sleep!:+ I'll miss you guys too. Traci-X: I don't blame you for not wanting to build your upper body if you're already happy with it. The X does that with my upper body too. Do you think that's why your legs are starting to respond so well with everything that you are doing? My body seems to lose fat starting at my head before it works its way down. By the time I start losing fat off my thighs, I'm sick of working out!!!!

Jeanette-X: I hate to say it, but I'm going to say it anyway!:p See! I told you so!!!!!:7 Darn new hobbies! They just suck all your time and money! But, you'll be stronger and better at hitting things before you know it!:) Ds will be graduating soon. I'm not going to be there for it.:-( But, I'll see him when he gets home. Nicole: The meeting was good she talked about Glyconutrients eight good sugars that our body need to attack any foreign alien, dud, hope that made senses. The company is called Mannatech, I was sold on the products she compared it to vitamins and omega and so much more to glyconutrients, let's just say I was very shocked.

There was so much she talked about. However, if you are truly interested call 1 620-294-1414 for a 17 minute presentation.

Tracie: Nice workout, I been trying to come up a rotation for P90X, still working on it.

Let's all go to Teddygirl's for Turkey Day!! I am ready to visit Ohio!

Back from my trail walk/hike...We went up to the foothills of NC to a state park with lots of trails, picnic areas, a lake for swimming in the summer, and camp sites. We didn't eat lunch up there since we stopped and had a big breakfast on the way up. I had a really great day! It was so nice to do something like that...my XDH would have never done anything like that on his day off. CB was even talking about doing it again and taking up some wine and cheese next time. He is very easy to spend time with...and even if it never goes any farther, at least we're having a good time. I have to keep reminding myself to not get too serious and to just take this all in fun. The trail was a bit wet since it had rained last night so some of the rocks were a little slippery. My butt got pretty dirty sliding down some of the rocks. Nice fun trail, though. And it was only about 35 minutes away. Also...for the inquiring minds, CB works retail, so he usually has a day off during the week instead of on the weekend.

I figure I can count today's hike as my cardio since I ran up some of the stairs to get my heart rate up a bit...So, I will do yoga tomorrow since I missed my yoga class today to visit with my boy.

Oh...and my Mexican was great last night...even thought my choices weren't the healthiest on the menu, I'm sure. I do love a chimichanga, though!

....Enough about me.....onto personals....


...Tracy...We are such opposites with the leg work...I would always forgo doing the standing work for the floor work...But I do agree that yoga counts as your floorwork. Why the cilantro?? I love cilantro...in small does...or is it the only thing green in Mexican food?? Hope your pup is doing okay this evening....It is always so scary when something like that happens. I have a kitty that is pretty old and she has been sick for a while...not sure what to do about that. Hope you are wearing your tank tops to work! :eek:

...Traci...So glad you have me in the cheering section...I promise I can give excellent advice and be there with my lighted pom-poms to cheer you all on! It's funny it takes you that long to get into the yoga...As soon as I start those initial breaths I am usually right there. I have started using Eoin's brief meditation before getting into a routine....and I have found that helps me be in the moment even faster, so maybe that would help. Have I mentioned that I still don't have my meditation CDs???x( I think I must be a prime member since I got sucked into getting an Amazon visa at some point over the past year...but now I get 2 day shipping for free! :7 I was thinking of a couple of things you could sub for Core Syn...although, I don't know why you don't want to watch Dreya roll around on the floor...LOL! Squeeze, maybe, with no weights...willPower and Grace, too. I am not familiar with the video you mentioned, so I can't give an opinion on that one. Glad you enjoyed your LB work today. Was that a green smoothie you drank??

....Nicole...You are cracking me up with the ever-changing meez! Each day there is a different emotion! Notice...mine is still sleeping! :p Funny, that you are ready for just a bit of time off from DH...It's nice when they get back...but sometimes they are a bit in the way too...LOL. Yes...XDH is coming in December...and I will have the separation agreement all done by then, so he will be able to see an attorney and go from there. As long as he agrees to all that is in the separation agreement, then the divorce itself is just signing a bit more paperwork....which actually can't happen in the state of NC until we have been legally separated for a year...which won't be until next summer. We will still have some custody things to work out...but not until he moves back to the States..and who knows when that will be. I am not a big lover of cardio....I do it because I know I should for my health and for the calorie burn...but if I found a pill tomorrow that I could get the same benefits from, I would never run on a treadmill again! I really enjoy the yoga and the weight lifting...but, alas, I must add the cardio in to make sure I don't keel over from a heart attack since I am prone to making poor eating choices...LOL! :p Hope the chiro treats you right.

....Wendy...Am I naive?? When I was a child VBS really was extra fellowship...Is that not true at the fundamentalist churches?? Did I tell you I let DD go to VBS with the "family" this summer...Maybe they were trying to get their hooks in her then!! :eek: See, the problem with future BF's meeting my mom first is that it is possible that she would scare them away...She is a bit protective over me and DD...(read here...complete understatement!) I have to make sure that the boy really likes me first so that she doesn't run him off too soon....LOL!;) I can't believe your trip is coming up so soon...I kept thinking you were leaving in December! Hi all,

PLB done and I'm done. After doing S&H legs on Sunday, my legs were cooked today. Then I spent a few minutes doing HIS, just to get the choreography down. and loosen up the legs before I stretched. I started to do some yoga, but my upper body and lower are cooked and I decided just to stretch and quit.

Debra - At the fundamentalists' house again huh? I always laugh when I read that comment. I'm sure the reference would be exactly the same here. Glad you enjoyed the hike. That part of the country is beautiful.

Traci - I am voting no on the core syn sub. I feel like S. Sweatfest is such a wierd combination of exercises. JMO, I couldn't stand that dvd.

TG - Talking turkey already. I should be thinking about it too. It is next week.

I have to catch up with everyone else later, dinner is waiting.
