Hi everyone,

I've been reading everyone's posts, but just haven't had much time for personals. Yesterday I did PUB and went as heavy as I could then did 30 minutes on the stationary bike and magically hips. Today is B&G leg blast premix, 20 minutes of step and some yoga.

I'm on the fence now about the Xflowsion or Squeeze. I'll be getting my new Shiva and the Janis stuff this week, so that will be a nice distraction.

Traci - Sounds like you are still going strong. Did you bounce back from the virus with full strength?

Sandra - I had a cracked wisdom tooth last fall and waited to go to the dr because I had a sinus infection too. I ended up having to get all 4 wisdom teeth pulled. They don't bother to save them because they are crummy teeth. Yes I think that urinary urges are mostly mental. Your post and information has made me much more aware of my poor habits.

Jeanette - Your afternoon yesterday sounds wonderful. I envy you. I haven't been on my road bike yet. I'm going to put some air in the tires and put my shoes on and see how it feels to clip in and out. If that doesn't bother my leg, then I'll be riding next week. I can't wait.

Debra - have fun with the house hunting. I'm sure the whole thing is exciting and at the same time very time consuming trying to coordinate everything.

Kudos to everyone who is doing the X. Remember to do your best and forget the rest and eat a little extra protien. That really gave me good results.

Tracy

Happy Wednesday!

*** Round 2: Phase 1 / Recovery Week / Day 4/ Stretch***
Really doing Kenpo (I stretched yesterday) + Cardio Coach 1 on Treadmill
Think that’s it for workouts as I have lunch with a friend and will run out of time…. Easy day

Yesterdays Report…

Power Half Hour (PHH) Stretch + Sculpt Sweatfest completed!
Study time….. Well… theres always later….

**DREYA ALERT**
Did ya’ll know that Dreya is in Power Half Hour???? I cracked up as I hadn’t previewed any of them! Shes not actually in the Stretch one but there is an OUT-TAKE menu and she is in all those! CRACKED ME UP!!! The out-takes are a hoot! Tony at his finest!!!!
It appears that many many moves are similar to P90X and Master Series… more variations and of course less reps… will be GREAT to compile my post X workouts this time… I feel well equipped.

Sculptfest was HARD! Very tough Core/Balance stuff….. I was suckin’ eggs! A decent Core Syn sub if done in its entirety (50 min)

Overall I am extremely pleased with this last set of new purchases… just what I needed to put together a decent faux X rotation.

Received MORE goodies yesterday…. Its like Santas sleigh tipped over above my house this week… WHO bought all this stuff & WHEN????

~Intense Moves/ Gin Miller (Imax/PlyoX like)

~Kimberly Spreen’s Absolute Kickboxing (CIA 2705) …. That one looks like it’s chaptered to make some nice 30-45 minute workouts… as produced is 90 minutes- thank goodness those cardio days are gone for me.

~Kickbox BootCamp (Spreen- CIA 2505) Step/Athletic Drills/Kicks & Punches /Strength + 16 minute Ab/Core 43min + Abs

~Cardio Camp (Spreen-CIA 2605) Mix n Match Options for WarmUps, HiLo, Bootcamp & Kickbox 47 min + Butt/Legs & Stretch 20min

Oh what a busy recovery week I’m having with all the new arrivals!

!! Jeanette X
Oh it sounds like our girl got swooned very late last night! Well at least I can live vicariously thru you! LOL on the Hair Net! At bay in summer I have to wear long sleeves outside because of all the mosquitoes & gnats! Cover up those little suckers HURT. Sounds like you have a great place all scoped out for Memorial Weekend! What a fabulous time you’ll have- lots of memories & pictures I’m sure. AMAZING how the SQUEEZE makes you burn! I don’t think I’d ever trust the upper portion to do it alone although I feel it… The lower is a piece of work! I plan on using it as my “Legs & Back” sub after X for a few weeks.

!! WENDY
WOOHOO on posting your pics! You are so brave! Photos on the web freak me out… Took me 1.5years to put up a Cathe Pic Trail… I’m sure the kudos you’ll get over at BB will be worth all of it! Thanks for update on BBC… I see you’re doing his Full Body… I didn’t get into that one the one time I did it but will surely add it back in after XX

!! NICOLE
I LOVE that you look so forward to your X workouts each day! You inspire me to just push play. …. Its funny- I’m bored with workouts this time around but not Tony… I’d like to just sip a cup of coffee and WATCH! lol

!! Amy:
Your pics are great! Look at the changes from just a few months ago- ^5 woman!! I do have 1 thing to say….. GET THAT NASTY MORNING LOOK OFF YOUR FACE!!! ROFL- you sooooo did not want those did you? My goodness that’s how I look at 3pm! Hope pamper day was delightful! You deserve it. You sure sounded relaxed in your last post! Are you going to preview BBC???? I really love those!

!! SANDRA X
Sorry to hear about your friend…sending good thoughts your way too! You sounded in ecstasy after Eoinn! ROFL with your description…. Can we do naked magically Hips too? OH MY! I agree that DVD is worth a full viewing- I always expect the pooch to be licking himself at some point! Gosh your dentist must use a special gas or something! I can say that I’ve NEVER had the same experience!!!! So happy that the work isn’t dreaded any longer. ROFL about maintaining Kegal while working out!!! Oh yes that’s REALISTIC!?!.... I can just remember to “zip” now I’m suppose to “hold” too? How does one jump on the step when one is zipped & held? Lol on the DVDs for AFPA… BORING – Nothing that would be considered “hot time in the city” AND it’s a friggin’ woman! At least give me Mr Universe to look at would ya?

!! DEBRA X
Could you use the GS Timesavers plus 30 minute intense cardios the next 2 days…You should be ok with Recovery week starting… Glad you’re loving the bike! We’ve had such funky rain weather than decent riding days never fall on a “ride” in rotation. Hopefully that will level out a bit as we move more into summer. ROFL about SQUEEZE! Good for you- & since you have movers pack you all the extras you’ll have are no big deal! OMG- A Jimmy sighting would make DH pass out! I think JB is sooooo SEXY! I love his beach look- its real too!

!! KATIE
Congrats on seeing those results already! I found that phase 1 last time was one of my most noticeable results… I was really clean eating then too… that made me a believer in the 85% diet theory… GREAT JOB in sticking with plan thru all you have going on.

!! WENDY X
Oh girl I hope that headache is long gone this morning! Those are just horrid! Yoga w/ headache? Oh gosh you are braver than I!

!! TeddyGirl
Good grief! I am so sorry about sis! You are trying to handle so much right now… I am sending TONS of prayers, good vibes and well wishes your way {{{{TG & Family}}}
Do what you need to for workouts – I know that’s a HUGE part of stress control for you. Plyo easy? Its GOT TO BE the Scrambled Eggs 2-3x a week you’ve done- YOU”RE A MONSTER!!! I’m afraid of you now- my size 4 hulk!!!! No doubt all those germs you’ve been around combined with stress is compromising your immune system… drink lots of water and eat your veggies!

!! LAURIE
Lol on Crane! I sooooo only tried it one time and said NOT WITHOUT HELMET! I think Sandra X must be have some genetic mutation to be able to hold that for 10seconds! Oh you’d probably LOVE hips & nectar yoga… it’s the most relaxing and calming yoga I’ve ever done! (you can do that naked footed too!)

!! SWIFTY
So glad Plyo is still bringing it for ya! If you do my Gap Jumps I’ll do your Legs & back Sneaky Lunges! Have a great day!!! Hoping life settles a bit for you. You’ll figure out each of us… No worries about all of that- just checkin and we’ll all get better acquainted as time goes on.

!! TRACY X
You must be smoking’ busy! Hope you are well and that nothing but “normal” stuff is occupying your time. Don’t worry about personals either… we know you’re reading all our sagas! I see this morning that you are still working out hard so you are still on the mend! Yeah yeah yeah… On my Flu Re-bound- It was amazing waking up Monday feeling like 3 days had just been a bad dream… The human body continues to amaze me!

!! LEA X
I am sooooo sad …. I miss my gal already – you are a huge part of the life of the check-in… Can I have a pout attack? As Sandra said- We got your spot saved! Just like Academy Awards where they use the stars pictures as seat holders… Well I got yours right next to me! You look MAH-VA-LOUS! I used the booty in air pic btw!

That’s it for me….. busy busy day so I doubt I’ll get back today…

Have fun today and make sure you flex at every opportunity!

Good Morning Ladies.

Tracy: Good job on PUB! Let me ask...do you do PUB abs in the order produced or do you "cheat" like I do and do them BEFORE the rest of the workout!? ;)

TraciX: I've had my pic trail up here for quite some time and knock on wood, have really never had a problem. If that ever changes you can bet I'll be taking the link down REAL quick! Looks like you got a TON of goodies! Good for you! I owned the Power Hour series several years back on VHS. It was a good set. I sold them on ebay some time back b/c I was emptying out my VHS collection and any work outs I no longer did. I have considered replacing PH on DVD in the past but can't decide if I should or not.

Jeannette: Hmmmmm....Now you are making me wonder if I should take the plunge with Squeeze!? I just purchased the XFlowsion set AND Shiva Rea's Yoga Shakti. I guess I should hold off a bit! :p :7

I have another run on tap for today. I will be at the gym for an hour after my shift is over waiting for a meeting to start so I might as well take advantage, right? ;)

Guys-
I dont care for broccoli but this soup is to die for... A great way to eat it if its not your favorite either... I had 1.5 cups before dinner last night and was already full... You could have a cup of this + some lean protein thrown in and you've got a "perfect meal!"

Cream of Broccoli Soup....

Good morning,

Okay, need some input. I want to do an intermediate-ish cardio workout today. Something along the lines of StepBlast, but no kickboxing because I'll be doing more than my share of that next week. Any suggestions?

Secondly, do you have any favourite "travel workouts" that you want to recommend? It has to either be a Cathe workout, or a non-video workout. I'm looking for a bit of both cardio and muscle training.

AF arrived today, right on schedule for once. As such, I'm not in a very decisive mood, and it almost took a bomb to get me out of bed. I woke up with that song "Miss Otis regrets she's unable to lunch today", as reprised by Bette Midler, going through my head. What's up with that? I promise I'm not intending to kill anyone today, although apparently my subconcious is considering it as a way out of having to go to Ontario on Friday!

JeanetteX - I went back and read your wine-making story. OMG I'd have gone mad by the end of that experience! But I'm sure this batch will have a very "unique", "Je ne sais quoi" flavour to it! If what DH tells me is correct, they initially only tested Landis's B samples that accompanied the positive A sample(s?). There were quite a few more A samples that had been negative throughout the Tour. It's the B samples to those that have just been tested and came back positive. What about HCE has got you curious now? If you leave off the KickMax Blast, then the 2nd workout that I did yesterday would be a great 60 min interval workout that alternates between LM and IMAX3 segments.

Amy - Who the heck can "Do" mornings? One of the reasons you don't see my pics is precisely because they're taken in the mornings, and I swear my face looks 10 years older. And like you, I honestly think I'm smiling and happy looking.

Wendy - An empty house? Do you snore that loud?? Here's a ballistic hug back to you (very funny!).

DebraX - I'm no help with your dilemma (see above paragraphs). I'm glad you enjoyed your bike ride, though! I hope your cleaning went well today, and you're part of the "No New Cavities" club. I only saw the dog once, very quickly. Is he in the other sessions on that dvd too? It's worth watching just for that! How come no one here has mentioned him before?

Okay, I'll have to come back in a bit and get caught up with today's posts.

Cheers,
SandraX

Morning Xers,

Doubles: Ph1/Wk4/Day2/Rnd2
Workout: Core Syn

Didn't have the energy last night to complete Core Syn, I only had time to get ARX in. I opted for that between the time I got home from work, and having to pick oldest DD up from track. They where late getting out of track so as soon as I got home youngest DD and I had to head to dance class. :) We finally got home at 7:30, and I hadn't eaten yet. The couch was a really good friend last night.:7 :7

Oldest DD had time trials for the mile yesterday. She finished first for all the girls with a time of 6:52. She is really trying hard this year, and I am very proud of her. :) They are suppose to have a track meet tomorrow, but it is suppose to rain all day. Hope they can reschedule.

Traci, I love Cream of Broccoli soup, but every recipe I see has cheese in it. I will be trying this one for sure. Ok, now I will need this squeeze workout. Maybe the reason I didn't do Core Syn last night was because I don't like it that much. x( I have all three of the Kimberly Spreen workouts you have. The only one I have managed to do so far is the Cardio Camp. I enjoyed Kimberly as an instructor and this workout is one I enjoyed alot.

Jeanette, Your evening sounds like it was very relaxing. I like looking at the Collage Mag over and over………. Nice that you could look it over in a peaceful place.

Debra, Since I was a dead beat last night and didn’t attempt Core Syn, I will be looking for that Dreya cellulite. What section of the workout do I need to make sure I’m looking at the TV? Have a great time house hunting.

Katie, So glad you are seeing the definition. That is what kept me going on these workouts the first round. And of course the ladies on this check-in.

Sandra, Wish I could watch TV while at the dentist office. My view is a bright light, or a tree out the window. Suppose I won’t suggest that to our dentist, because that would just be more for them to charge. As far as Yoga Zone, this particular workout is for beginner to advanced. They show all the different variations. From what I can tell of the others, it would be more intermediate. There is way more instructional information about each pose in these than any other yoga workout that I have had. Which is actually good, because some of the info is useful to someone who just jumped into YogaX without having done much yoga in the first place.

Wendy, Hope you have recovered from the headache.

WendyX, How are you liking the Barry workouts? Are you doing the rotation that you posted on OD?

Laurie

Good morning and Happy Administrative Professional's Day!

My acting boss informed us yesterday that he is taking us to lunch today. We aren't really leaving the institution and the meal is prepared by inmates, however, it has lots of yummy salads on the menu and some skewered pork and sorbet and breadsticks. I'll try to be good today. Hey, this day only comes once a year, right? Anyway, should be fun!

I woke up this morning with DOMS in my butt-talks. Now I did B&G standing only but I also did 3 lower body exercises from Squeeze and I'm sure that's what is talking to me today. Love that feeling as it is so rare for me to get DOMS in my legs, let alone the butt. Love it!!! When I last did the B&G Leg Blast premix, I wasn't sore at all so figure it's got to be the Squeeze session. That pretzel move is great.

I'm in a good mood this morning, did the hi-lo/weights premix from Step, Jump & Pump. Love the music in this one. Added on the abs/planks from SJP too for about 55 minutes of a lower intensity workout, but good for the mind. I love how cheerful Cathe is in the Body Blast series. And she never sounds fakey either. After work, will get the oil changed in the car, pick up a little gift for the guy that will be timing our hill climb competition tomorrow, reset the cleats on my bike shoes and take off my aero bars. Sounds doable.

Tracy, you are getting in some nice workouts each day and tacking on yoga regularly too. I think tomorrow (my usual yoga day), I will do a little bit of cardio just to get any more lactic out of my legs and then do a short yoga segment to stretch. Think that will set me up nicely for the hill climb. Hope the bike test ride goes well, loosen those pedals up real good so it's easy to pop out of them. I think I'm going to have to find some new cycling shoes as I've been having some problems with my toes going numb and it's early in the year. I'll move the cleats back on my shoes today, which should help some. I wear a pair of Sidi's which fit like a glove, but during the heat, my feet swell and I had discomfort last year in the toe area. Maybe I need to go up a size?

Traci, so happy to read your posts again, you sure are missed when you are laying low. So Sweatfest is a good one, huh? Is it a circuit? I got Gin Miller's Intense Moves from Debra (thanks Deb) and previewed it. I did think of it as an Imax sub. The step isn't complicated at all. Gin seems like a good instructor. Just an observation, she has very muscular, thick legs. Very strong looking woman and not the Jari Love body type for sure. Boy, am I ever feeling my lower body Squeeze work yesterday! I only did 3 exercises from the custom screen. Tough, tough. I hope Tracey puts out some more workouts soon. Gosh, how many Tracey's am I going to write about today? Think I've covered 4 of them in this post alone. The broccoli soup looks good, though the sodium is a little high. But why should I care when I can't keep my hands out of the potato chip bag anyway?

WendyX, good question for Tracy re: doing the abwork in PUB first. I do it first and also do the biceps first. I need to revisit that workout soon. Xflowsion didn't really strike a nerve with me, but I think you will love Shiva's Yoga Shakti. I'm feeling Squeeze in a good way today, the upper body work killed me too when I did it last Saturday.

Jeanette

Good Morning!

Classic/ Phase 1/ Week 2/ Day 7- KenpoX (naked)

I will also be trying some of Tracey Staehle's new Kick Sweatfest afterwards, more than likely naked as well.

Traci- I hope the studying is going well. You will do fine, I know it!!! Yes, that was my AM face (at 0630) as well as annoyed at DH face because he wanted to spend 20 minutes trying to figure out how to put the date stamp on the photo and I just wanted to get the torture over with and get going on the workout! Thanks for the soup recipe! It sounds super yummy!

Laurie- Crane? How'd that go? I'm with Traci on needing the helmet! I am personally lucky that I have the strength to hold a twisting chair pose!;)

Wendy- I'm with you, I do the PUB abs before the rest of the workout or I'd NEVER be able to hold the one pike that I can! I can't imagine what Cathe was thinking putting a tough ab section after such a mind-blowing upper body workout! That's our Cathe, though!;)

Everyone else, I hope that you have a good day. I need to regroup with the eating. It's been a tad out of control the last couple of days. I haven't been eating a lot, just the wrong stuff, so I need to get a handle on that. I also have to mow the weed patch, er, the lawn today and DH wants it bagged which is a HUGE P.I.A.!!!

Sandra- Obviously Traci does mornings, but I think that she is a quirk of nature!;) Anyway, about your intermediate-ish step, Rhythmic Step is a good one that's lots of fun for me! About the travelling workouts, I know that some people take the Slim Series along because they don't take any equipment, or maybe kickboxing. Other than that, I'm not much help.

Hi Sandra,

We usually post about the same time. The wine is doing well still. I called a shop yesterday and they will send me a packet of the potassium metabisulphite in the mail. I asked if he needed my credit card and he said no, would just send a bill. Think the stuff is only about $2 for a packet. It's smelling good already and still bubbling along. Very pretty color. I'll post a picture to my trail tonite if I remember. I emailed my mom a picture of the carboy last night and she commented on the color. At least it's not the urine colored stuff we made the first time, a Johannesburg Reisling. I swear it looked like urine in the glass.

Need to read the bicycling forum on Landis.

I did hi-lo from SJP today and had fun. Christie Taylor's Hi-Lo Heaven is fun too. I am not a fan of MIC hi-lo, especially as it builds to a frantic Flight of the Bumblebee pace.

Got to hit the shower, will write more later,

Jeanette

Good Morning Ladies,

I hope everyone is feeling great! I'm struggling with allergies today. Looks like another cocktail of advil and sudafed is in order. A pounding headache, fever (or hotflashes), and burning eyes kept me awake till the early hours. I've gotta make an appointment with an allergist!

While I was trying to force myself to sleep, I reflected on this time of my life and Phase 1 of the X. I must be HORMONAL because I am so happy with my life. I feel so much more balanced than usual. Ha-Ha. I'm not putting too much focus in any one area of my life. I'm not obsessing over what video to buy or use. I'm not focusing on overworking my kids in school. It's a great place for me. As for the X, I'm thankful that it makes my life easier. I trust that Toni can help. ;-) I don't have to think about what w/o I should do. I just push play.

If only eating were so easy! Maybe then I'd see visible results. Can anyone recommend a program where they tell me what to buy at the grocery store and has easy meals? I was thinking about Body For Life. Again, I don't want to focus too much on meals or eating. I just want to find something that works without having me obsess over counting calories or what to make.

Also, I wanted to let you all know that I am so thankful for each and every one of you here on this check-in. The encouragement is so motivating. Just having to come here with my excuses is enough to propel me forward and on track. You guys are the best! If I ever win the lottery, I'll host an Xers roadtrip with Toni! If my hormones continue like they are, I'll even invite Dreya! :7

I might do Yoga if my headache ever goes away. Phil did Yoga on his own last night. We'll do CS tonight. It's supposed to be my rest day. If only I were so diligent Jeanette, it would have been. ;-)

I've been keeping up on everyone's personals. You all make me laugh! I'll be back with personals. It takes me awhile. Bear with me.

Static Hugs to ALL!
Wendy

Morning ladies. Rest day for me today... which means tomorrow is..... oh no, don't say it.... Chest and Back!!!! Ahhhh!

Today is also my weigh in day. Only down a half a pound from last week, but down an entire % in body fat. Woo Hoo!!! I'm a happy girl today. Tony's my man!

I'm glad I've been seeing these results. I have been doing my best to eat super clean, although I have to admit that I have had a cheat meal the past two Saturday's. I am still kind of in the Tom Venuto frame of mind that if I don't let myself have a cheat meal at least once a week I will end up binging in the end. So, I am releived that I'm still making progress. I'm looking forward to Phase 2 when I can up my carbs. I do okay without them energy wise, but I just miss them!!!

Hope everyone has a great day.

Katie

Good Morning Xers,

They say when it rain, it pours. Right now, it’s pouring blessing. God it Great, if only you could had seen my face, when I said that:D

Yesterday, when I got home, I decided that I really needed to go for a walk, so off I went I did an hour of speed walking. I needed to understand why I was feeling the way I was, overwhelmed about, my sister, waiting for my test results and not be able to stick with P90X. I’m not good at following any rotations, never have. I get to stressed out, its been 3 weeks of stopping and starting. Therefore, I decided to go back to doing my own thing x(

I tell you when I got back home after talking things out with myself I felted so much better. Man, do I feel like myself today, NO Stress………:) :) going to take it one day at a time, that's all I can do, right ;-) I just don't fuction my best under stress.

This morning, Butts & Guts leg blast, floor work, 59 mins of bliss & abs. Tonight, UB

Teddygirl~

Is it *STILL* Wednesday!?!?

*** Round 2: Phase 1 / Recovery Week / Day 4/ Stretch***
Really doing Kenpo as I stretched yesterday…+ Cardio Coach 1 on Treadmill

Good Heavens these storms are just horrid today- they hit at midnight and are non stop! Just heard that down at our Bay House city are 2 tornados- my oh my….. whatcha gonna do?

Since dogs are in a panic and that greatly limits my ability to study or workout thought I’d do a pop in on you guys…

TRACY X:
My vote is you get XFlowsion since I don’t have that on order! Ha-ha- Gosh between all of us we would be millionaires if we sold our collections!

Wendy X:
PHH has no premixes so I don’t know if its worth it to you or not… I was thinking that its useful as lite weeks from other lifting rotations or even as add-ons to 1 body part a day.

Laurie X
WOW you MUST have been wiped out yesterday… I love when I hear the couch calling my name. You deserved the break girl- our doubles running queen. ^^5 to DD! That is just incredible! She can be an Xer anytime she’s ready! Oh very happy to hear you like Spreen- I’ve never done her before- cant recall why I felt the need to order all of those before “testing” her out- hope I like her!! Core Syn… yep- it may be subbed from here on out- shoot its only recovery weeks… I can sub either Tracey S. Core Conditioning or Sculpt Sweatfest or Core Cardio (master series)… Yep- I think it’s a done deal for me.

Jeanette X
Well happy food day! LOL everytime I read “the inmates…..” Creates quite a picture for me. LOVE the booty talkin’! YEP- I have DOMS in a part of my booty that I’ve never felt before- Combination of squeeze and yesterdays Sculptfest… I LOVE all the new ones! GREAT workout today and yes I so agree about Cathe in that series… happiest I have ever seen her. Sweatfest is a 60 minute Kickbox that has me feeling arm & lats like never before! + 30 minute HiLo. Its done nicely- the HiLo is kind of a latin flare… haven’t done it but previewed. The Kick is really awesome for a cardio sculpt- very little jumps- I actually kept it low the entire time and my arms are fried. I haven’t tried doing Pretzel yet… its comin’ tho!

AMY:
ROFL about DH and date stamp! That’s priceless! When DH was taking mine he kept snapping arss shots and booby shots… I was so mad but he thought he was real cute- Mr Porn photographer! Dufus! Quirk of nature??? What? ME? …. I do believe being able to do & hold Twisting Chair Pose is a little odd! Mmmmmwaaaaaahhhhhh

SANDRA X
Ok- By now you no longer need my input on w/o so just tell me what ya did! Take all your kicks + your exercise band…. OR ORDER BBC on RUSH delivery and do his full body- no weights needed! Congrats on an ontime AF arrival! I know that tends to make it a fairly “normal” hormonal month.

WENDY
Ya gotta start feeling better!!!! We need wonderwoman out there! Your pics are WAAAAAAAY impressive! You cannot be eating badly- way too big of a difference! I’m impressed and shamed! I SWEAR Toscas eat clean is grocery store friendly and has no brainer menus that don’t require the recipe cooking if you want to avoid that…. Thanks for the kind words to the group… I spent a lot of time in gratitude myself round 1… nothing like this group to help you be successful. You are such a wonderful addition to the group- we are so glad you found us – or were you one of Debra’s finds??? She was out there recruiting heavy for a week or so!

TEDDYGIRL
Goodness girl you are so right about doing what helps your life! My gosh if its not the right time or program for you then don’t do it! I know you love your hardcore cathe and maybe that’s the intensity you need for you! I applaud anyone who makes a choice based on whats in their best interest!

KATIE:
Lol on what day tomorrow is! I feel the same…. Is that week 3 starting already? A full % off BF is PHENOMINAL- Good lord woman you just started! I cannot wait to see your 30 day pics! AWESOME way to get it done properly! Another Tony Poster Child…. I totally agree about cheat meal… I have to do the same thing. I think its been my cheat DAYS that are throwing off the success factor this round!

All caught up and rain is subsiding so its time to go pee- pee (the dogs- not me- I’m fine)

:) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :):) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :)

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~PERSONALS~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
:) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :):) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :)
Tracy-X: Get Squeeze! If you don't like it, I'll buy it off you. ;-)Let me know what you think about Shiva compared to YogaX. I plan on buying the one by Finn once I finish the X. Thanks for the protein advice. I do need to eat more protein and less junk food!
Traci-X: I do believe you accidentally gave me an X in your personals. I'll take it anyway I can get it! I should say that you are well equipped with post-X workouts! I can hardly keep track of all these different workout videos. I'm glad you like Tracey Staehle's Sweatfest Kick. I heard conflicting reviews. It's nice to know it's modifiable. Is that even a word? It is now! :) Are PHH and the Master Series sold by BeachBody? I take it these are lead by Toni? ROTF on the Dreya Alert!!! Did you read my post where I found cellulite on Dreya's legs????? }( It's on Core Synergists around the 41-40 minute mark. Thought I'd give you something to look forward to for your next CS day. So how is our Dreya in PHH? Any moaning? Please keep a log saved on your computer of faux-X workouts. I'll be requesting them when my mind can digest more information. I could use all the help I can get post-X!!! Hey, that broccoli soup looks good. I wonder if I should make it with melted onion cheese on top. :9 Mmmm About my twins' haircuts. Shelby always looks bored with life when trying to avoid the camera's flash. I think it makes her look cuter. I want to kiss her to death when she gives me that look!!! LOL about the progress picture dates. I'm so confused. It's technically Day 26 because I still haven't done YogaX or CS. I took my rest day early this week. Had I been diligent as Jeanette has been deceived into thinking, it would have really been Day 28. However, I'm calling it Day 30 because I'm an adult and adults can say what they want to in America! ;-)
Laurie-X: Thanks for asking about my headache. The throbbing has subsided for now. I guess this means I'll have to do yoga after I post personals. :eek: Kudos to your SWIFT dd!!! That is a HUGE accomplishment! I was a fast runner in elementary school, only I was never the fastest; usually the 2nd or 3rd for girls. Then I got lazy in junior high and joined the cheerleading squad. :7 So YOU did CS last night. Did you stop working out at the 41-40 minute mark and transfix your eyes on the screen? }( It's not good to go without eating. I've tried it and it doesn't work. ;-) BTW, did your shy dd ever want to be more outgoing? One of my shy twin dds, Waverly, asked her older sister how to make friends. My oldest proceeded to act out a faux conversation with an imaginary stranger. Afterwards, Waverly got upset and demanded to know how she learned to talk to strangers and who taught her how to do it!! My heart just leaped out of my chest for her. Anyhow, ever since then, my oldest holds her accountable. After we spend time with a group of children, my dd wants an report. She expects Waverly to make one attempt at initiating a conversation with another child. She's such a good mother hen!
Jeanette-X: I hope you restrained yourself from the jail bait, I mean breadsticks, and ate only healthy, clean food. ;-) You have such an active lifestyle: walking in the woods, bike riding, working out with fitness videos. I want to be you in my next life! LOL butt-talks. What was it saying? Oh, pretzel is great! You make me miss my barre workouts when y'all talk about Squeeze. You are very thoughtful! Buying the time guy a gift. Is that what we're calling the milk man these days? ;-) Oh, wait, isn't the time guy actually your husband! LOL Yes, I feel the air swirling above my head!!! :7 I have the perfect solution to the gnats... you can wear an "I Dream of Jeannie" hat! Drape the netting around your face and let it fall over your belly barring body! I can just picture it now. You can even wear it while riding!!! Oh, it's perfect for covering yourself if you want to stop at the grocery store during your rides. Why didn't you think of it before!!! ;-)
Wendy-X: Did I miss something? Why weren't you able to enter your photos in the X contest? Is it only open for paying club members? That's so wrong on soooo many levels! Now now, you have no reason to fear! I'm sure the lurkers on the X photo gallery are truly interested in seeing X results and not printing your photos to snuggle with at night. LOL Only joking!!!
Amy: Thanks for posting your pictures! You look awesome! I do have to ask, what are you and your friend looking at on the ground? The terrible condition of your toes without a pedicure? A sexy pair of heels? A dead mouse? Have fun with naked Kenpo today! I had DOMS for two days this week from kicking more like a mule and sitting lower in my horse stance.
Sandra-X: OUCH! BIONIC Ballistic Hugs from you hurt!!! ;-) Hmmm, an intermediate cardio workout? How about Low Impact Step or just the step portion in LowMax or C&W? That's about the extent of my workout knowledge. I'll be sure to have my cc ready for post-X workouts once I figure out what I should buy. AF is a good thing. Flush all those toxic hormones out of your system. Unfortunately I must have offended her. She only stayed for 2.5 days. I still have hormones bottled up inside me! ;( Phil is scared. As well, he should be. ;-) Thank you for clarifying comparing Hardcore Extreme. Please, talk to me like I am two. ;-) I still think you're bionic, I haven't determined if you're crazy YET. LOL Eion Finn is a MUST BUY! Thanks for the enabling! Oh, I'm soooo jealous of your dentist visit. If I could find a gentle, relaxing dentist, I would get my teeth cleaned more often. Now, you have no excuse to wait until it's urgent.
Nicole: I'm so glad you enjoyed Plyo. I loved it too the 1st time I tried it. Now, I have a slight dread factor. But, Traci tells me that I'll come back stronger after my recovery week. She hasn't lied to me yet (SANDRA!). ;-)
Teddygirl: I'm so sorry for your sister's health. I can't imagine what you and your family must be going through. I'm not familiar with Lupus. It doesn't sound good. You might not think you're superwoman, but I do! Plyo kills me!!! I hope you have a better day today. Do your best and forget the rest! {{{HUGS}}}
Swift Amy: Take it easy. Things seem to even out when you least expect it. I find it easier to open another internet explorer window and toggle back and forth to post. It's easier than remember what I want to say when I write my novels! ;-)
Debra-X: Have fun house hunting!!! Make sure to find one with lots of guest bedrooms if you plan on hosting any future X get togethers. :) My twins are 8 years old. My oldest dd is 9. They were born 11 months apart, but it feels like there's 3 years difference between them. I sorry, I can't help you! I can barely help myself!
Hi to Lea, Jess, Debfer and Katie. I apologize if I missed anyone. I've only been on the computer ALL morning. Gotta push play before the headache returns!
HUGS!
Wendy
Still no workout yet, like Traci said, "is it STILL Wednesday?" The couch called after making DH pancakes for breakfast so I snoozed a bit. Now, just waiting for the yogurt to digest then off to Kenpo-Land!
Wendy- Your daughters are super cute! I love just how different they are in personality even though they look alike! I wasn't able to access your P90X photos, but will try later. Thanks for the compliments on my photos. The picture you are asking about was taken at my in-laws' house and we are watching their cat, Lucky, play with a catnip ball. The friend was my roommate when I was active duty and she was about 7 months pregnant in that photo. I was laughing about your day 28/30 dilemma. If you really think about it, maybe that's why Tony added another week on to the end of the program....to make sure it truly adds up to 90 days???
Traci- Get crackin on the books, girl!!! I hope that the storms subside so the kiddies will let you study!!! I think that DH knows just how camera-phobic I am (I've never been happy with the "in your face" evidence of just how fat I was) to know better than to try to take porno shot! LOL!!!:* (right back at ya!)
YEA!! Nectar hips arrived!!! I will have to try some of it after Kenpo!!! Can't wait, especially after Sandra's reaction to it!:7
Wendy: I’m not super woman, altho, TracieX made a good point. I really think doing Scrambled Eggs has really helped me cardiovascular wise, my endurances is on point. But, I have always worked out hard. Don’t ask me why I just like to. Plyo was NEVER an easy workout for me, Hm...... I need to revisit, could have been all the STRESS coming out, and I just didn’t feel the pain lol:7 :7
Amy : What is this I am hearing, you do Kenpo naked as in BOOTY NAKED:+ or am I missing something, Girl, I just had a frightening thought, I’m laughing at just the thought of me doing ANY workout naked, OMG, I can see me boobs flapping, my butt bouncing up and down and belly going from side to side, YUCKIE, please...please... NO more, don’t even want to think about thatx( talk to you tomorrow:eek:
TracieX: You are a sweetheart, and I’m glad you are my buddy too. I meant to ask you about the Squeeze workouts? Our you liking em? back in the days one’d say our you digging it;-) For real tho, I went to her website, her workouts look very interesting hm……Holla back:)
LaurieX, Katie, JeanetteX, SandraX, WendyX, AmyX hope I didn’t miss anyone. You guys have a safe and wonderful evening.
My workout for tomorrow, I’ll be doing Kick boxing think I’m going too get the dusks off of Kenpo so I can revisit it. NO NO NO definitely not naked, Oh my!! But I am liking the thought of doing the workout tomorrow, Yeah finally:+ ;)
I still haven’t decided on which UB workout to do tonight, aw, does this mean, I can eat ice-cream and watch me a good movie? being silly guys have a great night:7
Teddygirl~
Hi there ladies...I am late checking in today...but I am just a very busy girl lately! Happy to report that my teeth are now very clean a shiny and no problems to report. Thanks to Traci (have I mentioned I love you today?) I did the timesaver GS Chest and Tris plus Step and Intervals on CTX. Just the right length. I don't think I have ever noticed the premixes on GS before! I will do a similar workout tomorrow before heading off for house hunting.
Okay...Looking for some advice...DD has a potluck dinner at her school tomorrow night...And I never know what to make for these things...A lot of the kids in her class are Indian...both Muslim and Hindi...And a lot of kids from Asian descent as well...I love the diversity in her school...it's actually one of the reasons I chose it, but when it comes to making food..that's a whole other story. Many of the families don't eat beef and then others eat beef but not pork. I know that I can't please everyone...but would like to make something appropriate. I have to take a main dish and a dessert. Last year I took mac and cheese...but DD wants me to bring something different this year...Any thoughts from you guys would be appreciated! i love these dinners since I get to try a variety of food which I don't normally eat...and I'm pretty adventurous...and obviously I'm willing to forgo any diet for a good meal!
Okay...on to a few personals...
Teddygirl...Hope your sis is on the mend...And I got a real picture of you doing kenpo naked...When we say "naked" we mean barefoot...lol!
Amy...Hope you have time to get those hips all slathered in nectar tonight!
Traci...Thanks so much for your workout suggestion! That must be why you are going to be trainer! Hope you are all safe with the yucky storms you have coming through. yes, I am loving the bike...I have always had a thing about wheels...i ran the tires right off of my Big Wheel when I was little. Sorry the studying has been tough today.
Katie...Way to go with the BF%!!!!
Wendy...I can't believe the improvement you have already seen...your pics are great! I made the most improvement that first month too...Probably because life took over and I got pretty crazy for a while! My DD is 6 and she is great with people once she is introduced....but it's hard for her to go up to other kids and talk to them. She is very nervous about going to her new school next fall...but she's so friendly once she gets to know you a bit.
Sandra...You know, I haven't tried any of the other sections of Eion yet...I just love the way my hips feel after and those are my trouble spot..So, I don't know where else the dog shows up! Hope you figured out a workout to do today...Sorry, I have no suggestions about travel workouts...I usually just take my MP3 player and run....although, I do like to take Core Max so I get some abs in.
Jeanette...Sounds like you have a busy evening planned. Glad you had fun with DH and the dogs last night. Is the present you get for the timer a bribe?!? Just kidding! I also have a reply to something you said last night...but I've forgotten it, so I'll have to look at it again...I swear, I am losing my mind! Oh, I remembered...No, I don't clench my hands together...I hold onto the arms of the chair..LOL. I have a spot on my gums that is really tender and I brace myself every time!
Laurie...Wendy was the one who spotted the cellulite...not sure where it is...kind of like the voodoo doll! Kudos to your DD for her hard work with track!
WendyX...Hope you had fun at the gym!
Tracy..Hope you have a great leg workout today...and good luck with getting on that bike next week.
Okay...Better go for now..I will bbl after sifting through recipes! And folding laundry. And packing. And helping DD with homework. And making dinner. And ironing.
