Back again- My head is swimming past couple of days –end result= going in circles…
Looking forward to DH’s vacation (tomorrow) so I can re-group and actually get some things accomplished.

Yesterday… LOL- I changed my yoga to pre-workout and guess what- THAT’S ALL I GOT DONE!* Ugh *ugh *ugh* Well Yoga was good… Did Shakti- Segments I hadn’t done before out of Solar Flow 1- Those Shoulder openers are something else! Just when I think I’m limbering up a bit I do a new pose and realize I am nowhere close to being called limber!

Taking deep breathes today and as I am fighting the “don’t wanna/don’t have time” workout thoughts…. I received 5 new DVDs yesterday so I am opting to test drive a couple of those.

Tom Holland: Total Body Circuit Workout 2 (A true wts circuit!) – Interesting thing I hadn’t noticed when I ordered… Director is Chris Ballantyne (the TT guy!!!) Should be GREAT! Its only 30 minutes so I may do it as a double…..

Baron Baptiste: Long & Lean Yoga 52 minutes

Those 2 should serve me well today……. SIMPLY CAN’T WAIT for Cathes new series to arrive so I can dive right in! I’ll be doing them Weights first – but other than that I think I’ll stick with a full 6 week rotation when they come out. YIPPEE!!!!

Those Plyo DOMS lasted just Sunday… I guess that means I am fit because I recovered more quickly than past???? LOL- SOUNDS GOOD! Let’s go with that theory!!! Hope Yoga X was a ton of fun! Are you GUMBY like yet? I agree with others… I cannot wait to hear about your X Experience Take-aways!!

Hi to all! Just wanted to post really quick before heading out the door to take DD to camp. I am thinking I am going to do a modified version of Cathe's premix rotation. I really want to do 2 days of upper body, which a lot of her rotations don't have and of course, I only need a couple of days of cardio a week...and also need that yoga day at least once a week...so actually what I like about the rotation is the use of the premixes...which I don't always use as much as I could. So, anyway, that's my thought. I figured whatever rotation I use will be a shock to my body since I have been so lax about working out.

Still have the headache this morning...I am pretty sure it is muscular related...need a good massage...and if that doesn't work I may need to go to the chiropractor. I ended up doing pilates yesterday, which seemed to be what I needed. It is a pretty tough pilates video, but I enjoyed it.

Traci...Sorry you have been chasing your tail a bit lately. I have weeks like that too...in fact the past month of my life has been like that...LOL!! Hope you enjoy your new videos today. I am looking forward to Cathe's new series too! Can't wait to have some new things to do. How are you handling the heat?? I know that this Southern heat is a huge change for me! And the dog...she pants just looking outside!

Okay...gotta run and get the diva in gear...bbl to catch up with everyone!

TraciX: Listen too that fabulous body of yours, when was the last time you taken a rest day:) you are so dedicated, I really like that about you. Okay, what new toys did you get?

Yesterday, I hit my TM for an hour jog then did about 10 minutes of ab work, that was it. Afterwards, I ended up walking to the store, only took 35 minutes, I been having a taste for oatmeal pancakes so off I went to get a few boxes of OM.

This morning, I woke up late, couldn’t sleep, this is really bugging me out. Dang, I had a awesome workout scheduled tox(

But, I did have enough time to hop on my TM, did another hour jog. Tonight, without a doubt L&G mania I previewed it once more last night, and I liked what I seen, I really need to work my legs more, they are still covered with cellulite and VERY flabby. I will ttys.

Traci, everybody needs a rest day now and then, even you!!! I'm glad you have some fun new DVDs to test drive today. That's always an upper. Hoo rah for DH's vacation!!! Enjoy!!!

Debra, nice to get those daughters off to camp, eh? Sure miss them, though...

My daughter appears to have forgiven me for the whole SD/cellphone/naughty clothes episodes, thank heavens. She's such a sweet girl at heart, but with her adopted background is like a sponge for peer influence, unfortunately. Thankfully, all of her other friends here are an influence for good.

Teddygirl, I call an hour jog on the TM a pretty good workout! I've been suddenly lazy about running this year, so I admire you for that.

My running partner cancelled on me this morning, so I did B&G, 45 min (standing work plus first two floor exercises) and finished up with 15 min. on the TM. All I had time for, but it did leave me dripping so I'm feeling pretty good about that.

Hi! This is quick because I'm on Company Time:

This morning: Cardio Coach #4, running out doors. Did quick walking lunges for the level 4 hill climbs, and think I got a decent workout that way. It was nice to change up the sprints for some harder resistance work in the middle of the workout.

Afterwards, I did PLB stability ball floor work, PUB stability ball core work, and PLB stretch.

AAAhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Okay, I'm seriously going to try to bbl. I miss you all!

Good Morning Girls,

I enjoy CS so I am glad to do it today. DH is out late agin so I must wait:( I have been sleeping in until 8 a.m. everyday and it's killing me. I wake up at 5:30 and force myself to go back to sleep. Maybe I need to just stay up! I am starting to get weary of the X but it's more because I am so excited to start the Jan. 07' rotation.

Traci-X, You know how you were asking about when people should have a "recovery week"? My answer for you would be now! You have been working so hard and I think your body is begging for a break. Take it easy this week and just preview those new workouts so you can get pumped up to do them next week. You are so dedicated but everyone needs a couple days off:) What bad timing though, just when DH will be gone so as not to bug you:p

SandraX, Sounds like you had a great workout this morning! Glad you take time to say HI, even if it's a quickie:) Hope the girls are well and you aren't working too hard.

Cheryl, So glad to hear DD isn't mad at you still. That was a relief for you I'm sure. Way to go on sticking to your workout even with a running partner that seems to bail on you often! Hope your work week is going well:)

Debra, What are you doing with all of your morning free time? Is DD enjoying camp? My boys didn't get to go this year so they were bummed:( Maybe next year. I am doing the premix rotation too but with some added yoga. We'll have to see how it goes, lots of cardio:p

Anointed, Oh no, from no sleep to too much! You must be worn out! Maybe you should take a little recovery time like Traci:) You both workout so hard and I'm sure your bodies are tired. I'd like to hear someone else's opiniom on all of this "cellulite". I'm sure it is not all you think it is. You bust your butt and you should be proud of that!

Jeanette, Glad you got some time in on the trainer. My DH has one but has to force himself to use it in the winter. He longs for the open road:) Have a great hill climb tonight! I'm sure you are pulling energy from the guys riding the Alps today:) I do like recovery week but it's not as fun this phase. I just want to start my new rotation and my eating has not been all that great so I'm not seeing any changes:( Maybe in a few weeks with all of the cardio I'll be doing.

WendyX, Hope all is well with you this morning.You are going through a lot and you are doing so well with it. Is eveything set up for FIL now? I know your MIL appreciates all of the help. My grandma kept my grandpa home until he passed away from alzheimer's and it was tough. He was violent and angry but so loving all in the same day. For the loving times, she just could't put him in a home. Tough stuff! Hope you get home soon:)

My pan cakes was delic, I added a tbsp of ff cottage cheese, 2 egg whites and 1 cup of oats. I really need to concentrate more on my diet again, look out WWers:7

NicoleX: CS I love this workout, nice job :) I’m going to see my doctor getting HELP for sleep disorder. I tell you, its' this menopause thing. This sh&& ain’t NOOOOOO jokex( x( I can say it is better now, then it was, when I first started, I didn't know what was happening to me. I thought my sexy days was over, died, and gone, really. Every 3 to 10 minutes broke into a BAD sweat, nonstop 24/7 it was the most embarrassing thing I ever experienced in my life. Now, I have moved into another phases insomia.

Cheryl: As I was running this morning I came to grips that I need to increase my distances a bit, adding on an additional 30 minutes, yep that's what I'm going to do. Since I have had my TM, I never ever ran pass 1 hour, its time for a change;)

Sad news for me, I have to start asap looking for a pt job, this sucks, I swear. I went as long as I could go, only wanted to enjoy my summer;( ;(

Good Morning Ladies,

Tried posting this morning, but the aide came and I lost my post. Looks like I am staying with MIL for the rest of the week. She's going to have an aide stay overnight from 8 to 6. There's so much going on that it would take too long to type it all.

FIL is soooo sweet. He doesn't have any violent episodes. He woke up and told everyone how much he loves us before falling back to sleep.

I won't be able to workout anytime soon. I'm fine with that since it will give my foot more time to heal. Sorry I don't have time to post personals. I read each post though!

OK You FABULOUS Ladies-
I am taking the great advice here and doing a recovery week for at least a few days…. I am taking the opportunity to eat clean (while DH is away its EASY!) and just do some lighter workouts… Who knows, maybe I’ll do one of my new Yoga DVDs everyday… THANK you all for lovingly pushing on this…. I do take full rest days you silly gals – Just had one on Sunday but YES its been a LONG time since I had a true recovery week…. I think the fatigue and the “don’t wanna’s” are sure signs I’m ready…. I always think if I’m not lifting heavy daily that I don’t really need one of these recovery weeks but ya know…. Whatever the reason- age, humidity, stress… WHATEVER…. I do need them. THANKS AGAIN TO YOU GUYS! You are the BESTEST!

Your plan of modified premix should be GREAT fun! I always seem to love the premixes more than as produced… Is that my attention span *issue* again? Hope that headache doesn’t exhaust you too much- I feel for ya. LOL on heat/humidity…. We Southern gals REALLY have to watch it. I loved it when I moved here 15 years ago but must say the humidity / heat have been record breaking for last 5 years and its REALLY hard for me to handle. I dislike it mainly because I get fatigued so quickly and that makes me feel old- I keep telling myself its not my age it’s the climate! Hope Diva is enjoying her brightly colored room! Take care of Polly- the poor pups DO suffer in the heat… Mine are all inside dogs.

I’m siding with Cheryl on this one- Yesterdays TM / Abs WAS a full workout!!!!!! I doubt you have any more cellulite than any other “normal” woman. You are BEAUTIFUL so lets have some POSITIVE self talk! I just read in either M&F Hers or Oxygen…. If you HAVE to pick between sleep and a workout CHOOSE SLEEP! It talked about how our bodies are so sleep deprived and its actually HINDERING all our hard exercise.

Hi you lovely ladies! Just picked up DD from camp and she had another great time today. I certainly am glad she is enjoying herself since this is kind of a precursor to school this fall and she has been really nervous about meeting and making new friends. Finished working on my rotation and here is my first week:

Day1 BM2 double upper body
Day2 KM low impact premix + core
Day3 BG overall legs
Day4 Yoga
Day5 LIC cardio blast time saver + core
Day6 Supersets/Pushpull upper body 3 sets
Day7 Rest

I am almost done with the service guys in the house, which is good!! Yeah!! I have to run for now since I promised DD I would help her finish decorating her room and then I have a workout to get to! BBL for personals.

Debra: Your rotation looks good, nice job. Okay women, when did you sneak the beach pictures in. You and hubby look so cute together and so happy. Your daughter is very beautiful I just luv the way she looks she has a very unique look. Does she ever speak of modeling when older? :)
 
Hello Ladies,

Just a quick check in for me. We are enjoying our vacation. I have had to lay off exercise, my knee is giving me some problems. x( That is Ok because I like spending the time with the DD's. We have some fixing on our faire clothes that I need to see to also.

Tomorrow we are going to the water park for some water fun. :D

Yesterday we did have a visit from Jada the 102 lb German Sheperd. :) She isn't suppose to be that heavy, and is on a diet. But she is what one would refer to as a large lap dog. :D :D :D We called today to say we would like to adopt her.

Well I'm going to head outside and enjoy the sunshine. :)

Hi...back with a couple of personals....

Teddygirl...Thanks for the compliments on DD...I always think she is really pretty and she gets a lot of comments from others...We got stopped on the street a few times in NYC by people commenting on her looks. Glad to see some more pics of you, too!! You look great!

Laurie...Glad to see you popped on for a minute. Have fun at the water park. Sorry your knee is giving you some problems....It's probably time for a break anyway. And congrats on the next member of you household...Jada! I am sure she will be a great dog for your family!

Traci...Glad you decided on a rest week...and I am sure your eating will be squeaky clean without DH around! Speaking of poor pups...I let Polly out this afternoon to go potty...and she spotted a bird and took off running through the field of soybeans behind us! She found some other dogs back there and had a little visit...Crazy dog!

Wendy...So sorry about all of your trials with FIL. I will keep you guys in my thoughts. I am thankful that he isn't getting violent, because that is so tough to deal with. Good luck...hugs and kisses to you and your family!

Debra, You made a good looking rotation. I had to make a few changes to the Jan 07' rotation because my sister has my Low Impact Step DVD. I'm subbing Power Max because it's easier than Cathe's current DVD's. It must be so nice to be near family again, especially with DH gone all of the time.

Laurie, Glad you are enjoying yourself. Hope that knee gets better fast. Don't worry about it though, you'll be back in the swing of things soon enough!

Traci-X, Glad you decided to take a little recovery break. Good idea to eat clean while DH is gone. It is tough having to cook two seperate meals. Hace a nice week alone with the girls:)

Okay back again....still battling this wicked headache...I am certainly looking forward to my massage tomorrow...Just hope this gal is good.

I ended up doing BM2 double upper body premix...although, I left out the abs since I had just done pilates yesterday with a big core focus. So I will add that on to my workout tomorrow.

Nicole...Yes, it's nice to be close to my mom again...especially with DH gone...It's good for my DD too to spend so much time with her. Hope you enjoyed CS today...I always liked that one too. I never have to force myself back to sleep!! LOL about your "troubles"!! I don't feel like I have had much free time with DD at camp...but I am certainly glad she is enjoying it.

Sandra...Glad you enjoyed CC today...The weather is too hot here for me to get out and do anything! It is good to see your sunny face pop in!

Cheryl...Hope your DD continues to have those good influences around her. It's so hard to be an adolescent these days...there is so much more information and "sharing" out there than when we were coming along! Any workout that leaves me sweating is a good one in my book...Glad you enjoyed BG this morning.


Jeanette...Hope your tiling project goes smoothly this weekend. Wanted to let you know that DD has her first horseback riding lesson next week. I am hoping that it goes well for her...This is a free introductory lesson to kind of assess her and how interested she really is in this. The owner seemed really nice and easy to get along with and they have riders of all ages in their programs. I'll let you know how things go.

Okay...I'm off for now...gotta round up DD and get her reading on her book list for the summer. She is running wild in the fields outside somewhere!!

Bob was playing with his camara again, he asked me if I wanted to take a few pictures. He did something wrong the first time, I noticed the first picture has a 2004 date.
