July '07: Day 2: BM2 upper body (Fluid Power: Creative Flow)
Good morning,
In about 10 minutes I will be going to do BM2 upper body weights, and Shiva's Creative Flow. I'm trying not to stress about the lack of cardio I'm doing now, compared to the last 2 months. It's hard, though. I'm not convinced I won't end up gaining weight with this rotation. Two months of the high cardio; endurance weights did shave off a few pounds around the middle, and I don't want them to come back again.
I don't have much time, so I'll see how far I can get with personals.
TracyX - It's nice to see you checking in from the road. Congrats to DS for his ride!!! I hope he wasn't seriously hurt from the crash??

I checked out a couple of the the cake sites. Amazing. I aspire to be able to do something like that one day. Give me a couple more week, okay?

6 rest days in one month doesn't seem like that much. I did take 2 complete rest days in July, and 2 more that were just yoga. I was just following Cathe's rotation, with yoga added in where possible. If I only worked out when I was in the mood, I'd have a lot more rest days, because I rarely "feel like" exercising, or getting out of bed! I just do it 'cause I know I will be much happier if I do. Anointed - oooooh, I can't stand a hangover. I hope you're chipper again today.
JeanetteX - I've only ever done one of the CM premixes. I don't use that dvd much, as it seems her other workouts have enough core work with them. I imagine a rotation that used all those segments and premixes would do great things to the core. You might like the July '07 rotation: all premixes, between 35-45 minute workouts. How's the new crown, Princess?
LaurieXX - Good on you for plugging away with the rotation, even though Life keeps getting in the way. I like the KM LI premix. Are your legs feeling it from the LCD?
DebraX - Are you feeling better today? No, no plans for September, except maybe to make some progress on my thesis. I'm waiting for my supervisor to get back to me, and he's dragging his feet. It's time to light a fire under him. What a creative way to use IMAX2/CW! Brilliant!
Cheryl - nice workout yesterday. I love PP. Not sure who you were talking to, but I wasn't the one asking about the RT. I'm sure you're more than ready, however! And it will no doubt inspire you to take things up a notch on your return.
NicoleX - ooooh, the incident with DH would have been nerve-wracking. I sometimes get worried about DH when he's out riding, too. They're so vulnerable on their bikes. I'm glad he's all right!
