*Back: SJP, BM2, DrillMax, CTX
*YOGA: Ellen Barrett

Finished all w/o per plan yesterday…. Ended up with about 90 minutes of yoga between am & pm sessions- Did BBC TM Cardio for first time- WOW! That’s intense stuff for 16 minutes! I’ll enjoy trying all 5 of these in upcoming weeks… Short, Intense, Efficient!

WELCOME HOME WENDY!!!!!!!!!! ^5 on the bike purchase… You are the Queen of Deals! Feel better today….

TracyX~ How exciting about Tuesday! Can you call in sick on Wed so you can play all day? Lol … All that shoulder work still only took about 30 minutes… I went a little lighter on the weights (cycle driven) and feel really good today. I can tell that with the added yoga tho I may have a bit of DOMS settle in later today/tomorrow. Great ride! Sorry about the annoying riders – I think that’s why I don’t like riding much in the “hot spots”… same with running. I like solo activities so much. I know how you feel with commuting. I did it for so many years and always went in an hour early just to avoid traffic… back in those days there was no flex time tho so I just got lots of promotions because people thought I was dedicated! LOL

Cheryl~ You MIS & MIC Queen! I wonder if TeddyGirl is sticking with her MIS 3x a week… I could NEVER do the same thing day in & out like that. I can “feel” that you are better now- thank heavens! Hope your family dinner is delicious- What’s on tonight’s menu?

Swifty~ Nice to see you and hear that you are healing and still sticking with X! That’s terrific and I would imagine hard to do without a daily support group. On pre-sale: I am excited for variety purposes- equally excited about Tony’s new X from Hell series being released soon too. I just need my 2 favorite instructors to keep cranking out those master pieces!

Been raining here most of weekend so that should keep me focused on cleaning today… Didn’t work yesterday tho as I took 3 naps!

Hi all,

Yesterday my yoga ended up being Fluid Power Creative flow. It was nice, but a little too much meditation. I hadn't previewed it and I had trouble keeping up with one of the sequences. She does a lot of side lunges in this series, which are great, but you have to have a lot of core strength. Today I'm either going to be B&G leg blast plus the floor work or an L&G premix, plus some yoga of course.

Even though we had the cardinal from He** banging our window about a month ago, we were left with many songbirds nesting around the backyard. It is so nice to wake up and hear the beautiful chirp of the birds. Songbird populations in the US have drastically decreased. In the woods where I run, every summer a specific type of songbird with a characteristic song, return to bring sound to the woods. Otherwise they are silent.

Traci - Will you ever become addicted to yoga like me? The yoga after doing upper body is a nice way just to add on a final layer of fatigue, but in a different way. One of the perks of yoga is that you can take it on vacation and use it for recovery week workouts. I see you pulled ARX out again. I'm surely getting Tony's new workouts and plan to do another X rotation about the same time I did one last fall/winter. Riding in the hot spots is a double edged sword. I don't feel comfortable riding off road by myself and going such distances, plus the traffic is bad here and I'd have to travel at least an hour to get to somewhere I was comfortable. During my month off, I'll ride early on a weekday and avoid many of the usual bikers. Of course we'll be traveling a lot, so I won't get much in then either. I meant to tell you this, when I was running on Thursday, I hear this rustle in the woods, and 10 feet off the trail was the cutest little skunk. I yelled at Bugger to leave it, because the last thing that I wanted was to spend hours trying to get skunk spray off. Luckily he listended, but if I had had both dogs, I don't think they would have and it would have been a terrible mess.

Wendy - Congratulations on the bike purchase. It is such good exercise. I always feel so free on my bike and I enjoy the solitude of just being out by myself, well sort of by myself.

Swifty - Glad to see you checked in. I think many of us felt addicted to the X and that it was like no other, but after the 90 days you may feel otherwise. There is life after the X and for me it took the form of lessons learned and practiced to make future workouts more beneficial for me.

Off to pretent to clean or something of the sort. I did a little yesterday, but not much.

Hi, ladies! Yes, feeling much better today.

No, I don't think I could do MIS more than once a week. I thought the lower body and abs were pretty lightweight in this workout, but by the time I was done with everything it had pretty well kicked my tail. I think MuscleMax is harder. MM abs are DEFINITELY harder. May tackle those today. I'm looking for a cardio mish-mosh for an hour tody, plus abs.

Traci, sounds like a very nice workout! Is DH still away? Just you and Sandy today?

Tracy, the yoga sounds nice. Sounds like you are feeling better as well.

Wendy, WOW on the bike find! You lucky girl. I am so jealous. I hope you get to enjoy it a lot. And how need that you found TWO.

Have a wonderful morning, ladies!
Cheryl
