Good morning,
First burning question:
Amy - How are you posting if you don't have internet or email access???????????? It's wonderful to see you back. Thank you for the birthday wishes. I shall store them safely until Monday and recycle them your way. You're only going to be 35? Oh, to be so young again
The rash sounds miserable, especially given the way you got it. I'm with Traci - at least you weren't sunbathing nude! LOL! What a fun RT/vacation you and DH had. If I ever go, we would do the same as you, and parlay it into a family vacation.
TraciX - Oh, good luck with hurricane Dean. We live in such different geographical conditions, you and I. Being so far inland as we are, we will never experience a hurricane here. Will you feel much of the hurricane at your home, or do they usually lose the brunt of their force by time they get to you? I'm not sure where you are, exactly. That was a funny comment you made about my post on the OD. I'm just a good girl from Canada. Yesterday when the yoga finished, I actually watched the closing scene, and I have to say, it's rather bizarre. Everyone starts hugging and kissing...and hugging and kissing....and hugging and kissing.....I was beginning to wonder whether the music would turn all twangy and the video would truly turn into YogaX!!!! I'm all for feeling the love, but they take it farther than I think is appropriate
Switching topics: Of course you will pump up your muscles when you have a client! That's a given. Have fun with KenpoX today. I don't like your Jasper at all. Ours is wonderful. It's one of the massive parks that encompass part of the Rocky Mountains. There's also a small town in the park named Jasper. It's a gorgeous, serene place to visit.
Anointed - Thank you for the birthday song yesterday! You're so kind. And you were in perfect harmony with the rest of the gang. Just lovely. Is your garbage disposal situation cleaned up? That must have been awful. I don't blame you for going to bed.
Jenn - Glad the picnic went well. Transitions are hard.
DebraX - I had Hardcore Extreme #3 on the books for today, but your post yesterday is making me want to do LowMax. Hmmmm, what will I choose? To be frank, I'd rather not do anything. If the storm that is brewing outside my windows passes quickly I might do a cardio coach outdoor run. I might give #5 a try. It looks super tough, though. Have you done that one? The public school system here has "Early Thursday", meaning the kids are done at 2:15 on Thursdays instead of 3:30. It's a pain in the butt, IMO. Perhaps it would seem better if it were a Friday instead of Thursday. I wish I could embrace sleeping in like you do. Even on the weekends I get up at 5:00am, because my to-do list is just too long.
Carol - Cathe made you do a zillion walking lunges? }( }( }( I'll bet you were feeling that! Yes, the HC series does have a lot of bonuses. I just ordered a bunch of new bands from Fitness Wholesale Online, in all 4 tensions, so I can "enjoy" those even more. My green band that came gratis with my preorder of the HCSeries is breaking off, a few inches at a time. I think it's about 4 ft long by now, which is making it a bit tough to do some of the work. Enjoy your Cardio Coach! Which one are you doing?
Nicole - So, how's the back? Were you able to salute the sun?
I decided not to go to Jasper for the weekend, obviously. I need more lead-time than 24 hours. I have various things That Need To Get Done Around Here. The thought of dropping it all was stressing me out waaaay too much. If I had a week's notice, I would plan to have it all done during the week, then I could enjoy myself.
Well, off to tackle my list. Have a great day!
