Surprise!!! Yes, It's me and I'm starting the thread this morning. I know that Traci will probably be up with the dogs, but here's to hoping that she gets a little bit of sleep tonight!

Work is fine, I'd much rather be in New Jersey still, though!!!

I really, really, really miss my internet! I feel so cut off from the rest of the world! Between that and no email....I'm lost!

I will do my best to check back in later, but be forewarned, that it may not be until later tonight!

Hugs!!!:* :*

I wonder if our birthday queen is in Jasper this morning? I had chills reading your post as Jasper Texas is home of KKK! ISNT THAT UN-REAL for such a thing to exist in this century???? It FREAKS ME OUT! I’m quite sure YOUR Jasper is far different than the Texas one (which should just be blown up IMO) ~ I DO hope you had a fabulous time with Eoin yesterday- all your and Debras “licking” comments crack me up- I was ROFL when you mentioned it on OD! I thought- hmmmmm I wonder what the ladies who have no idea who Eoin is think of you + you have an X after your name! ROFL ~ On my rendition of PH 3… Because we were at bay until Tuesday my days got a bit “off” but I am following it as written EXCEPT when I sub! Ha.. I actually am doing more of Ph 3 + extra non Tony. I already know that on days I train any clients I will want to do strength work so my muscles pop for a session! Heheeheheh ~ I do hope you have caught up on sleep and are feeling back in charge and RE-charged! I understand “funk” as you know!

LaurieXX
Happy Weekend!!!!

DebraX
I wonder if you are STILL entertaining at this un-godly hour (245am)..Our little party animal! ~ GREAT LowMax w/o for our tired Xer yesterday..You are strong willed lady!

Jenn
Happy the Picnic went well! I remember going to HS first day and I was PETRIFIED…I had spent 8 years in a private school with the same 32 kids then I went to public HS…OMG was I in awe of how LARGE the campus was! I bet DD will do terrific her first day!

NicoleX
ROFL with your late night post! MY GOODNESS what a day you had! I luv ya- what a wonderful gift to express yourself SO CLEARLY in so few words! {{nic}}

WendyX
THANKS so much for all the drug info! I actually may have to put it off because we are spending a TON of $$ right now on vet/pet solutions… We re-built stairs 600.00, we changed all 3 dogs to prescription dog food for joints 150.00 per month, we changed Sandys arthritis medication to a new one 65.00 per month, + the regular 220.00 in heartworm, flea/tick monthly meds… I have FAR EXCEEDED my pet budget for 2007!

SwiftyX
Hope you’re having a FABULOUS time on your trip!

TeddyGirl
OH NO on the garbage disposal mess! YUCK! Hope its clean and stinky free as you read this morning… I think you got a w/o just cleaning the mess! Hopefully it wore you out so you could actually SLEEP! Heres your DISC CLEANUP INSTRUCTIONS (Based on my Windows PC)
(Left click on all of these to select)
Click START from bottom of screen
Click CONTROL PANEL
Click PERFORMANCE & MAINTENANCE
Click FREE UP SPACE ON HARD DISK
Allow process to occur – can take several minutes
New screen pops up telling you how much space you can free up
Click OK
Screen says are you sure?
Click YES
Let it do its thing – takes a few minutes
When task is completed you can shut down puter and re-boot it

IF that doesn’t help the speed we will need to do the more extensive clean up which is a DRIVE DEFRAGMENTATION- let me know if you need those instructions…. BTW- You really should do the cleanups at least monthly- I do them every 2 weeks because I have so many programs & files on my PC.

MISS YOU WOMAN

Carol
Have a GREAT TIME at Nana’s house!!!!! Enjoy Sean- He’s the man (next to Tony!) What a GREAT feeling to have a paid off car! I LOVE that feeling more than anything!

Cheryl
How are those pretty eyes this morning? Its like a miracle isn’t it?

TracyX
Ya EVER coming back from vacation????? I miss you!

Amy
Glad you had a blast~ sorry about internet! BUMMER DUDE! ~ LOL on the rash! THAT is NOT what you want to bring home from a vacation! Good thing you opted out of the NUDE SUNBATHING option! Getting VERY nervous about H-Dean…. Wendells at bay boarding up and bring boat home… fingers & toes crossed for this one.

LOTS to do today in prep for Hurricane Dean- I went to store to stock up on water yesterday and could only finf one case left on shelf- Here we go......xxooxooxox to all!

I *knew* you'd be up early, Traci, but I didn't think that Sandy would abandon you!!!

Dave's watching H-Dean rather closely, although via T.V. and NOT the internet. I almost feel like my left arm is cut off without internet or email access! My prayers are with you and the "kids". Oh, and you're MORE than welcome to evacuate to my house, Traci!!!;-)

Good morning,

First burning question:
Amy - How are you posting if you don't have internet or email access???????????? It's wonderful to see you back. Thank you for the birthday wishes. I shall store them safely until Monday and recycle them your way. You're only going to be 35? Oh, to be so young again ;) The rash sounds miserable, especially given the way you got it. I'm with Traci - at least you weren't sunbathing nude! LOL! What a fun RT/vacation you and DH had. If I ever go, we would do the same as you, and parlay it into a family vacation.

TraciX - Oh, good luck with hurricane Dean. We live in such different geographical conditions, you and I. Being so far inland as we are, we will never experience a hurricane here. Will you feel much of the hurricane at your home, or do they usually lose the brunt of their force by time they get to you? I'm not sure where you are, exactly. That was a funny comment you made about my post on the OD. I'm just a good girl from Canada. Yesterday when the yoga finished, I actually watched the closing scene, and I have to say, it's rather bizarre. Everyone starts hugging and kissing...and hugging and kissing....and hugging and kissing.....I was beginning to wonder whether the music would turn all twangy and the video would truly turn into YogaX!!!! I'm all for feeling the love, but they take it farther than I think is appropriate :) Switching topics: Of course you will pump up your muscles when you have a client! That's a given. Have fun with KenpoX today. I don't like your Jasper at all. Ours is wonderful. It's one of the massive parks that encompass part of the Rocky Mountains. There's also a small town in the park named Jasper. It's a gorgeous, serene place to visit.

Anointed - Thank you for the birthday song yesterday! You're so kind. And you were in perfect harmony with the rest of the gang. Just lovely. Is your garbage disposal situation cleaned up? That must have been awful. I don't blame you for going to bed.

Jenn - Glad the picnic went well. Transitions are hard.

DebraX - I had Hardcore Extreme #3 on the books for today, but your post yesterday is making me want to do LowMax. Hmmmm, what will I choose? To be frank, I'd rather not do anything. If the storm that is brewing outside my windows passes quickly I might do a cardio coach outdoor run. I might give #5 a try. It looks super tough, though. Have you done that one? The public school system here has "Early Thursday", meaning the kids are done at 2:15 on Thursdays instead of 3:30. It's a pain in the butt, IMO. Perhaps it would seem better if it were a Friday instead of Thursday. I wish I could embrace sleeping in like you do. Even on the weekends I get up at 5:00am, because my to-do list is just too long.

Carol - Cathe made you do a zillion walking lunges? }( }( }( I'll bet you were feeling that! Yes, the HC series does have a lot of bonuses. I just ordered a bunch of new bands from Fitness Wholesale Online, in all 4 tensions, so I can "enjoy" those even more. My green band that came gratis with my preorder of the HCSeries is breaking off, a few inches at a time. I think it's about 4 ft long by now, which is making it a bit tough to do some of the work. Enjoy your Cardio Coach! Which one are you doing?

Nicole - So, how's the back? Were you able to salute the sun?

I decided not to go to Jasper for the weekend, obviously. I need more lead-time than 24 hours. I have various things That Need To Get Done Around Here. The thought of dropping it all was stressing me out waaaay too much. If I had a week's notice, I would plan to have it all done during the week, then I could enjoy myself.

Well, off to tackle my list. Have a great day!

Good Morning Ladies!!!!

Traci-X! I visited your website again yesterday. I love everything you've added!!!! Baby's meds were $24 for a bottle of 120 pills. However, the total bill was $61.00!!! That's more than Cathe's new series presale! And, I don't have all the vet/med related expenses like you do! It was worth it to me to stop all the shedding. Baby's spirit is finally back to normal. She's gonna love what I have in store for her today!:)

Amy! Nice to see you back. I wish I had Phil tell you where the locals get their cheesesteaks. It's near a bad section of Philly, so most tourists don't know about it. Even if they did, I don't know if they'd risk getting lost.

Sandra-X! Now that you've got honey licked off your thighs, what are you going to do today?}( You are too funny!

Last night was RS for the very first time. Did Madonna's Like a Virgin pop into anybody's mind just now? ;-) I got up to Combo 2. It took a little over an hour since I kept going through the combos over and over trying to get it just right. It is a fun routine!!! It's physically draining trying to get my body in sync with my mind! Once I get it, I doubt it'll work me as hard. When my body flows, I also find I can concentrate on using my muscles more than my joints.

I'm going to do a little total body weight workout using ???? before I head out for a bike ride. My eldest son is going to walk the dog while I ride like the wind. I think I'm going to try out a new trail about 20 minutes away.

I've discovered our county has a listing of trails on their website. Looks like there's plans for all the county's trails and surrounding counties to link up their trails for a 160 mile trail. I'll be able to use the trail to ride to Philly. Don't forsee me doing it though unless Jeanette comes over and makes me! ;-)

I had some shoulder DOMS from yoga. Didn't expect that to happen. I guess I really do get lazy with downward dog without Tony there yelling at me. LOL However, Flex McCoy the Flexible Toy didn't get sore! :p }( :7

Will make it back for more personals after I finish pushing play and pedaling.

Ballistic Hugs to ALL!!!
Wendy

Hey~ :)

Just finished BC, only completed 1-6, I'm Beat!! I am so tired, I can't shake it.

Wendy~ Have fun on your Bike Ride. Sandro fixed my tire this morning and greased up the chain. More or less it's a piece of crap!!! Going to have to save up my $$$$ to keep up w/ you!
Better get Amber out today and do more school shopping and take her to her Uncles to swim. Hey, can you give me the website on our trails in the area...I could look, but you know I'm lazy ... :)
Talk to you soon!

Good morning dear ladies...Well, at least it wasn't me who started the thread today! It sounds like everyone is well in their little workout worlds. Got the kitty litter box cleaned up already, so it is a good morning! Let's see...I guess since I have put it off all week I have to do GS legs today. I am sure there must be some premix I can do on it...Why do I hate legs the way I do? We may be seeing some friends of ours from Illinois this afternoon, but other than that, no major plans for me. I am taking a rest day tomorrow and I am going to clean this filthy house. I kind of let it get away from me this week so I must gain control!

personals........

Amy...Glad you and DH are back safely from your vacation. It sounds like you guys had a great time! Sorry about the internet snafu...What a pain!

Traci...Hope you guys stay safe through the storm. Of course, it may by pass you, which would be good I guess. Have fun with Kenpo today. Glad you are feeling the tricep burn we all need...lol! I have the same problem with tris..I work until failure, but then still not many DOMS. I was definitely snoozing by 11 last night. No late nights for me....I'm getting to old to handle those any more!

Teddygirl...Hope your dentist visit goes well, with minimum pain! I guess they are still working on those teeth that need to come out. So sorrry about the garbage disposal...what a yucky mess!

Sandra...Glad you didn't stress yourself out by heading out of town. When I was a girl my dad used to come home on Friday afternoons and say, "let's go to the beach" and my mom would pack some bathing suits and we would head down at a moment's notice...I am much more of a planner now, though. The only CC I have is #6...I know, I need to get some more. I wouldn't like early Thursdays either...at least with Fridays, you get to start your weekend a couple of hours early. Never noticed all of the hugging and kissing at the end of Eion's dvd...I don't usually have the patience to lay around in shavasyna that long. I am always up before they are.

Jenn...Well, if it is between those 2, I have to go with RS...really one of my favorite step workouts. And much easier than BC...I am really lazy at heart.

Wendy...Hope you have a great time on your ride today. Look at that...trails near you! Who knew?!? LOL I don't remember how long it took me to learn RS...I am sure forever...I am not the most coordinated of people. And not a dancey bone in my body. I was thinking abut Phil and yoga and I guess some people are just naturals at it...too bad that's not you...LOL! I was reading your post yesterday about DD's dental situation. Poor thing! Do they know why this happened? Or is it some kind of aberration? I am glad you found a dentist that can deal with it, though. How tough on you guys!

Carol...I am sure I would have died doing all of those walking lunges. No way! I would have just sat in the corner and watched everyone else....lol! Have fun at Nana's house!

Nicole...Hope you are feeling the love from the chiro yesterday. I hope you're down doing reverse crunches right now....lol!

Think I'm caught up for now....I must go hit play. I have my workout clothes on, so that's a step in the right direction.

Imax 2 "Blast Mania" (43 min) + CM #2

Off to workout then I have to clean for a few hours before my soon to be SIL's bridal shower. They aren't getting married until Oct. 15th so I don't know why it's so early. Oh well, I'll have to make a day of it:) I hope to get back for personals soon but you know me and cleaning:D

Talk to you all soon,

Nicole

Morning :)

Tracie: Thank you, cleaned up computer much much faster now ;-) I never did it before, duh! I appreciate you:) I was in and out of the dentist office, I like that, and I started not to go, just didn't feel like drivinig the distance. No sleep either up at 4:15 watching same old series, Cops & DC another re-run:+

Hey everyone:)
After yesterday drama, I think I'm going to make it:D ;-) I tell ya its' always something. I am about to start upper body I'm doing Shoulder & Arms and then calling it a day, I may even do a little P90X cleaning :D but first need food I got turkey bacon in oven, with a few egg whites. Tomorrow, I'd like to get my last workout in with Chest & back then I'm moving on, starting to get bored, but overall I did pretty good, cuz I usually cant stick to any program long, but looking forward to back& bicep and the others, cant think need food.

Okay ladies me going to eat. Hope everyone have a wonderful wonderful morning. Be blessed!:) :) :) :) :)

Hi, everyone!

What a busy crew already today -

AMY I'm so glad you are safely home!!!!

Traci, I'll have to check your website again. Such fun to see this project rolling along.

Wendy, loved your review of the yoga classes you did. Sounds like a really worthwhile time to get your form tweaked for the home workouts.

Teddygirl, sorry about all the drama you've had to live through of late! I hope that disposal gets fixed this weekend for good.

Well I had the surprise of my life this morning while I was doing Hardcore Extreme 2 - we have no kids with us this weekend - DH comes wandering out in his b-day suit to see how I'm doing and decided to hop on the step and join in. Now there's a workout with a view! I love his sense of humor. :+

I'm trying to follow what I've been learning lately and doing much more interval cardio and less steady state, and trying to really up the focus on core and posture based on what we learned at the RT. Great stuff.

Have a great Saturday, everyone!!!

Cheryl

Happy Saturday X'es!!

Today was Vol. 3 of Cardio Coach on my mom's treadmill. It's the first time I've done this workout, and it was fun. The only issue is my mom's treadmill doesn't change speeds very fast so I had to pause the workout to wait for the treadmill to catch up, lol! Then I took DH to the spa for a massage before picking up the car that needed $$$$ in repairs... But, it's all better now! BBL for personals :)

Carol

I am so tired! I did ME express workout premix. Had a bowl of granola cereal with milk. I have no idea what I did. My body is tolerating milk these days!!!:) Afterwards, I drove my bike down to the shop. They charged me $12.00 to install my computer (Cateye Enduro 8). I still haven't figured out how to use it. While I was waiting, I decided to go ahead and buy a bike rack for the car. :) :) :) I found more printed bike maps there too!:) :) :)

I googled directions to one of the parking sites along my new found trail. It's less than 15 minutes through back country roads from my house!!!!! I love this trail. (Jenn, it's the Perkiomen Trail starting at Green Lane.) The scenery is beautiful! The trail winds next to a nice bubbling creek. It sits up higher than the water. There were some steep drops right next to the trail without any guard rails. There's so much to do at Green Lane! There's a park, open areas, benches along the route, lots of people swimming, canoe rentals, hiking trails, equestrian trails, etc... I even rode past a little town carnival. Further down the trail was a little boy selling ice pops for 25 cents. :) Where have I been? Living under a rock!!!!!!! sigh

Jeanette! You would be so proud of me! I biked 20 miles in under an hour. My max. speed was 16.5 mph. I think I was in 11th to 12th gear for the majority of the ride. I had to keep slowing down for groups who wanted to use both sides of the trail and not move. I need a loud blowhorn.}( Shouting, "Passing on the left!" isn't forceful enough to gain their attention. Most of the groups were from the carnival. I don't know if they realized that they were supposed to keep to the right side of the trail.

It was a gorgeous day. Not too humid with a nice cool breeze. I did work up a continuous glisten. Towards the end, I was sweating since I was wearing a jacket. I sat down on a bench and chatted with an elderly man, Joe, taking a break from riding too. He asked me where I'd been cause he had been waiting. LOL The only thing that I liked better about the trail closer to my house is that its gravel is more compact and there are more paved sections. It's not used as much as the one I used today.

I'm going to take a nap. I'll probably get on real late for personals. I plan on biking on the trail closer to my house tomorrow! I might try to hold onto Baby's leash and have her jog beside me.

Sweet Dreams!
Wendy
