Xers ~~~MONDAY~~~

Hello there! I was running short of time (and energy!) so I didn't get to Push/Pull legs...so I will tack that on to a cardio workout this week. I enjoyed PLB...it's a been a while since I did it...and I forgot about that ball floor work at the end...OW! DD has dance this afternoon...so just time for some quick personals.

Traci...You look FANTASTIC!!! I would kill for your waist! Even when I'm smaller, my waist is always thick. Yuck! Glad you have been reunited with Tony. And that you are seeing improvements already. Way to go! I never liked C&B...so you go girl! My lower abs never show either...You can see my obliques most of the time, my upper abs some of the time...but my lower abs are always covered by a layer of flab. There are muscles under it...but no one knows they are there but me....you have to be willing to feel through some flab to get to them!

Tracy...I love CTX...One of my favorites...Glad you are getting some use out of the DVD! No X for me...still keeping with my Cathe's for a while and checking out some new vids with Flickety Fit. I saw a ton on Collage last night that I would like to get...but I am trying to take it easy! I am just trying to focus on clean eating for, well, the rest of my life, I guess!

Lea...Those dang Doodlebops! Why are they different colors? They kind of creep me out. Lea...I know I've said this before...but I love newly painted rooms...I also love picking out new colors to paint. Let me know what you decide. Welcome back to Tony! And have fun with your tennis lesson tonight. Have you played before or is this a new thing for you? A lot of ladies in my neighborhood are really into and we have some really great indoor clubs here.

Laurie...Responded to your PM...Sounds like you are doing great with your eating so far...I am going to order Tosca's book too...maybe later today. Congrats on your first day back to the X. Sounds like you had a busy weekend with your girls. They grow up fast! A formal? Well, at least she's going with a girl...instead of of those yucky boys!

Sandra...You are going to be so toned and buff in 4 weeks, your own family won't recognize you! Sounds like a killer rotation you have planned. Thanks for the note about Cathe's April rotation. It looks like it will help me with the current rotation I am trying...I will modify hers a bit to keep with the faux X lean rotation feel...but thanks for the heads up...I probably wouldn't have seen it for another month...I don't usually check out that board. Hope your eating plan is going well today, too. I am sure you will be flying with ease through those Mason Twists by the end of this rotation.

Wendy...I am sure you will like legs and back. It was one of my favorites during the X...and I saw great progress with my legs with this one. I'm glad DH like YogaX...I am with you...I thought it was too long...so I ended up subbing that one with other yoga DVDs. I think it's wonderful that you are going on the road trip...I wish I could make plans that far out...I would love to go!

Jeanette...LOL about the sleazy guy in the video...Glad you enjoyed it otherwise...and got a good burn to boot! Hope you have a great day at work...And I replied to your PM.

Okay, Read this before checking out Day 1 pics.
Keep in mind these very important facts:
1. I was bloated!
2. This was taken during my cycle.
3. This was taken AFTER I did the fit test. dh's pictures were taken earlier.
4. I took the fit test after 11:00 at night.
5. My hair looks nasty.
6. My hair doesn't usually look so nasty!
7. I'm not wearing any makeup.
8. Those shorts are too small.
9. I wouldn't let dh take the time to put in another lightbulb.
10. I did NOT suck in my stomach.
11. Instead, I was miserably waiting for the camera to stop processing and take the picture.
12. I birthed 6 children.
13. I carried two of them at once.
14. My cellulite looks worse in dressing rooms.

MOST IMPORTANTLY:
15 I didn't ask dh if I could post his picture. Shhhhh! Don't tell. }(

Hi Ladies. My workouts aren't here yet! ;( I'm jealous. I want to start today too! (pouting)
I put the chin up bar up over the weekend. I was able to do one unassisted and two more assisted, so I guess that's not TOO bad.
Rest day for me today. Haven't had one in a week, so I figured it was time. I think it's going to be SJP tomorrow. I have to get all my favorite Cathe's in this week before I say good bye for 90 days!!! Although I think somehow I'll be sneaking her in here and there anyway. ;)

You're so sweet. Normally, I take my progress pics in my bikini. I never realized my core looked so flabby until I saw myself in those shorts. My bikini bottoms are too low to cut into any stomach or waist flab. LOL It was good that I finally saw it because I won't skimp too much on AbRX.

I should add that I can dress myself. The shorts/top don't match. It's the only half top that I own. And the only shorts I own too. Maybe, after the 90 days, I'll buy more of each.

Wendy.....You look fantabulous! I know you started with the kids young...but you look barely old enough to have 1...much less 6! And if I didn't know you had 6...I would have never guessed because your abs looks great(as well as your arms,legs, etc)...And your DH is a cutie too! Thanks for sharing! It's almost like that dream where you are in a crowd naked, hunh?

Katie...Sorry your package isn't there yet...but you didn't want Sunday as your rest day anyway, right? Definitely have a long good bye with Cathe...You will miss her!

Wendy - WTF are you doing here? LMAO! You look better than my after pictures! And how old are you again? You look like you're 20! I want proof of the 6 kids. Pictures, please! I won't spill the beans about the pic of DH. I think it's amazing that he's along for the ride, and actually likes YogaX. I would think it would be veeery difficult to reduce your own food intake while simultaneously trying to fatten up DH. Good luck!

TraciX - Okay, your pics and Wendy's pics on the same day have me feeling like I'm reading an Oxygen magazine. If you look "flabby" now compared to a few short weeks ago, then you must have looked awesome then! It's not fair!! Ah well, it is what it is, right? I love the new catalogue, too. Makes me want to buy something, but I already own it all! I still need to make that soup. It does sound tasty. I'm glad you enjoyed the pumpkin/cauliflower soup so much. Your meals today sounded delicious, too. All those fresh vegetables...yum! I LOVE the sounds of your workout today! You sound so happy! And great work on using the 20's for back! Wheeeee! What are your plans for tomorrow? Is PlyoX on the books?

JeanetteX - was the sleazy guy in the video that obvious? Doesn't he know he's being filmed?

LeaX - Yeah, we gave you the DoodleBops, but you gave us Barney!!!! You asked for it! I took DD #1 to see the DoodleBops perform live....for free....at West Edmonton Mall. That was insane. Simply insane. BTW, my kids never watch the DoodleBops. They're alllllll yours. Your breakfast today sounded deeeelicious. Doesn't it feel good to give your body good nutrition? So you're on to the LR now, hey? We are at the point of having to decide what colour to paint the basement. I'm thinking that I might like a gym-type theme down there. What colour scheme would you suggest if I wanted to do that? We also can't have anything too dark.

TracyX - What did the doc have to say today? Yes, sometimes I wish I had some kind of food allergy, to make it easier to stay on track. Nice modifications with CTX upper body. Those were my very first Cathe weight videos, and about killed me at the time. They're still top notch, IMO.

LaurieX - I love the sounds of your menu today. Mmmmmmm. I actually really liked the egg scrambles in the P90X cookbook, but just dislike cooking my breakfast. Maybe what I'll do is try stirring plain navy beans or black beans into my steel cut oats. I love beans.

DebraX - I think PLB is quite a sufficient workout on its own, especially if you do the ball work too! Good for you! So, you're doing a faux P90X lean rotation? How did I miss that bit of news? Did DD have a good dance lesson? You're very generous to be giving away all those videos!

Katie - Hi there! I'm sorry you still don't have your workouts x( I haven't done SJP as-produced in ages, and it's a fun one. Enjoy your workout tomorrow.

I had a great workout today. I really, really enjoyed the CW step-only premix as my warm up today. The nice thing about all of the P90X upper body weight workouts is that, although they supposedly target only 2 or 3 muscle groups, you end up using every muscle in the upper body to some extent. By the end of any of these workouts I always feel like I've worked every upper body muscle very thoroughly. I was also able to match my push/pull/chin up counts from my last session with this workout, which is pleasing. Now that I have heavier dumbells, I actually "felt" the heavy pants and lawnmowers. ARX was good, too, even the Mason Twists at the end! I think I'll be feeling it in my hip flexors tomorrow.

The eating went quite well, too. Let's see. I'm at about 1600 calories:

Breakfast:
steel cut oatmeal with banana & 1 cup soymilk for breakfast;

Snack:
Boost drink (drank between CW and CB);

Lunch:
left-over chicken-spinach meatloaf sandwiched between 2 slices of ww bread & ff mayonnaise, a mango;

Snack:
apple & cheese string,
1 cup soymilk;

Supper:
* ww spaghetti noodles, tomato sauce, lean italian meatballs, parmesan cheese,
* steamed cauliflower,
* salad made of field greens & tomato with a dressing of avocado & raspberry balsamic vinegar mixed together.
* clear peppermint tea.

Hi there ladies!

What do you call it when you have DOMS....but they are not really delayed? PLB worked a number on me today..Which I really liked!! Wanted to let you guys know that tomorrow is a rest day for me...but only in the workout sense of the word. I am teaching at DD's school which has 3-6 year olds...the things we do for our kids! Of course, this is Wendy's world every day! Then I have errands to run tomorrow afternoon....and then gotta take the pooch and the kitty to the vet...Both of them are having problems...which I won't go into again! So I may not be on the boards until tomorrow night....but keep faith that I haven't fallen again.

Sandra...Sounds like you enjoyed your workout today and had a great day with your eating. Congrats with matching your stats, too! I am doing a faux lean rotation by using Cathe vids...I have found that I have to add a day though, to get everything in that I want. My rotation looks something like this, starting with day 1 circuit, cardio, upper body split, yoga, upper body split, cardio, legs..which of course adds up to 7 days...so if I need a rest in between then I take it...but so far, I have been doing 7 days on and 1 day off...when my life allows!

Have a tax appointment tomorrow, really procrastinating here so don't have time tonite to post much as I had to get stuff together.

Lea, congrats on your 100% clean eating day. How was the tennis lesson? You do the most fun stuff ever! I used to like tennis, but never took any lessons. Just remember chasing the ball a lot. I like Karen Voight too. Will have to check on some of her newer stuff. You don't hear a lot about her anymore. Maybe my Great Weight Workout is dated and intermediate, but boy did it make me burn. I couldn't finish some of the exercises. What color will the living room be? I still need to get a valance for the blinds in 2 rooms.

Traci, you have so much more gumption than me. I would have just done the cardio and no weights in C&W, leaving the heavy stuff for Tony. You rock! I'll have to try uploading photos again. I even tried one at a time last night but kept getting the error thing. I was going to eat clean today, but one of the Camp Commanders at the prison brought me a box of See's candy for doing some extra work and pushing thru a new hire. I'm trying to get rid of it as fast as I can, but also helped devour part of it today. Bad me.

Wendy, your pictures are great. You are sooooo cute! You are going to be one buff mama! DH is a cutie too.

Tracy, what did your dr. say? I'm sure enjoying lighter weights for a change. I did feel a lot of burn this morning and on my drive to work, but no DOMS now.

Sandra, I was able to do 2 workouts a day, only if it was a short ab workout. I don't like feeling like I'm working out all the time. I keep telling you guys, I'm just lazy and have this 60 minute thing in my head. Now bicycling, that's another story. And yes, the guy is that obviously sleazy.

Debra, I didn't get a PM from you. Can you try again or email me? I'm not kidding about that sleazy guy. Both of the guys are wearing those wrestling leotards. The guy is seriously leering at Karen's butt. Can't believe they filmed it that way.

Laurie, sounds like your eating is going good. I love oatmeal and bananas. The pumpkin/cauliflower soup sounds wonderful. Did you make it yet?

Katie, hope P90X comes soon for you. Enjoy SJP tomorrow! You can already to pullups? Way to go!
