Slept 9 hours last night! Wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeee:D :7 :D :7 Wasnt straight mind you but nonetheless DIVINE!:D

Will have to return w/ personals in a bit but wanted to say how much I missed staying in touch throughout the day! Looks like all of you had puter time and I didnt!:(

WELCOME BACK Jeanette & Amy!!! Missed you guys!

DH and I had a BLAST of a day together & much needed! Feel like we actually had time to reconnect as partners not just "married stuff". We ate out all 3 meals- (so I'm carbo loaded & ready for the day!) Shopped, watched a movie, planned some projects, shopped some more (HE is a shopper for sure!) ... We just had a great day.... Need MORE of those weekends for sure. He asked me if I'd start playing tennis with him so we got him some Tennis Shoes and I got a racket...

The descriptions of the new series weight work has left me squeeling!! }( }( Its sounds so different than other Cathe weight segments... I am STOKED!!!

Day 2 of 22 - “2-parts per Day plus 1” Rotation
Yoga
Biceps & Triceps: HSTA + C&W

I shall return.....

:* :* MWAH!!

Personals ~ Sandra Wendy Debra… You guys will get your own post as you were the Chatty Cathe’s yesterday! LOLOLOL

ΨJeanette X :
REALLY great to get caught up with! You add such a depth to our little group & it is noticeable when you are away. Sounds like you & DH are getting to spend quality time together as well! I am happy for you guys… I remembered this weekend how really important that is to not going into Auto-Pilot. LOL on the golf tips! DH’s greatest desire is to teach me golf… We’d be divorced for sure! LOL I don’t think my body can ever get relaxes enough to swing properly- I was watching PGA this weekend and those old guys MUST do yoga regularly! Glad you are enjoying your rotation- that so important to look forward to planned w/o’s I think- CONGRATS on grouting project! You HAVE been a busy bee!!! I pronounce Shiva as you do- WE MUST BE RIGHT! LOLOL

ΨAmy:
WOW on your past week! You must be ready for a “normal” week! Glad Dave got some good stuff out of his class and that you went for support. Stay strong woman! Luv Ya!! How many days til’ you meet the X Team?

ΨTeddyGirl:
OMG on your progress already!!!!! Those Divebombers NEVER got easier for me- Yoga is helping with those but man I am impressed woman! Don’t you just LOVE actually having measurable results? FABULOUS! Way to go doing an hour on TM as well… can you see Cheryl in front? She’s waaaaay up there but you can catch her! HAVE A GREAT WEEK!

ΨNicoleX:
I AM proud of you and all your Yoga! You have just jumped right in with your consistency! I had to add it in slowly (still am) …. I think I lack the “high” that you, Tracy & Sandra all feel but I KNOW its exactly what I need so I am still plugging away.
LOL on the pics… still none as I looked so awful yesterday from a week of no sleep that I told DH – “Lets just wait” a few days or until ttom has passed! EVENTUALLY!! LOL Have a grand day my dear!

ΨCheryl:
Thanks for idea on cardio fusion… I never really thought about doing just part of it- I have never even looked at it because it seemed so long and I don’t do cardio in those kinds of durations anymore. I shall now look at doing “part” of it! Pups are all better now {{{for asking}}} … They are back to Full Moon rambunctious selves! LOL Hope the Kabobs turned out perfect! Have a great week! BTW: I spent some time reading the stuff you sent… All those calculation to find caloric levels are what I already had! LOLOLOL…. I do like his writing style – wasn’t happy when found out that to be at my desired BF% I need to get waaaaay to low on the scale weight… Either Tanita & Calipers are super duper off or I need to be at 105#s for 16% BF… THAT AINT HAPPENING! That’s another 19#s! Maybe my calculations are off…. Anyway- I shall NOT be shooting for 105 scale weight! LOL

ΨTracyX:
Hope you arrived home safely and are planning a great day at home!

ΨLaurieXX:
How many more weekends of Faire? Hope all is well.!

ΨSwiftyX:
Hope you had a great weekend!

Off To get started on some pumping iron! See ya in a bit! :7

What's this?? TraciX says I get my personal response, and then leaves me out? Hmph. Never mind. I shall be the bigger person, live with grace, and move on....

This morning I'm starting Day1 of Cathe's July '07 rotation. Maybe I'll start a header again.

July '07: Day 1: BM2 timesaver cardio premix (SR: FP Beginner Flow).

The stuff in brackets will be what I tack on. The yoga must be doing some good because despite doing MIC yesterday, I don't feel fatigued at all. The legs feel just fine, and ready to tackle BM2 cardio. Maybe the PMS power-mode has something to do with that, too. Didn't get a lovely 9 hours of sleep last night by a long shot. It's gotten very hard to sleep in the last few weeks because of all the overnight thunderstorms we keep having.

TraciX - Your day with DH sounds wonderful!!! Yes, you must have more time like that! Whenever are you two going to find time to play tennis together? You realize that you *both* have to be on the court *at the same time*, right? I used to play tennis with DH, when he was just the BF. It was one of our dating activities. Lots of fun. What yoga are you doing today? The first 30 minutes of Cardio Fusion is a terrific little step routine: BM2 warm up, BM2 bonus cardio, LIC bonus segment & blast. I did that once when I was doing the P90X doubles.

WendyX - Well that explains it!! I remember asking you a while back how you liked the floorwork in BG, and your answer completely mystified me. I don't think I was able to respond to posts for a couple days at the time, so missed asking you about it. Keep at it, I promise you, you will see improvement. I find BG to be more about endurance, not strength, so using no or light weights isn't a big deal. You'll improve quickly, I'm sure.

DebraX - This is a short-term project. They want it in their hands by mid-August. I couldn't do anything more long term at the moment, unless I finally found some reliable childcare. Unfortunately, it's nearly impossible to find part-time childcare for children under the age of 2. The rock tumbler sounds like the perfect toy for a young girl. I know my DD would love it, especially if she could hook it up to her hamster's wheel :)

JeanetteX - LOL about the flight of the bumblebee!! Except that Cathe's butt looks anything by bulbuous in that video! I was thinking yesterday that she looks impossibly tiny at that time. Pregnancy really changed her shape, although I think she looks just as awesome now. Your weekend sounds so good, as usual. Yes, Contador is young, and now has a lot of responsibility to shoulder. The whole Discovery Team seems to have a lot of integrity. DH was rooting for Levi, too. Oh well, at least he was on the podium.

For the record, since we're taking a poll, I pronounce Shiva with a short i "Shi-va", and Rea kind of like "Ray", or sometimes "Reeea". I wonder how it's supposed to be prounounced? I imagine if I ever watched the bonus dvds that come with YS and FP, someone on there might actually say her name.

Tony is an awesome motivator: I think that's his main strength, pun intended. Loved the link, TraciX. Thank you! I'm going to try to flow this morning. Do you have the last link to his blog handy, by any chance? You posted a link a few weeks ago, I meant to print it, then I didn't, and now I would really like to do so.

Okay, off to start the day. Hello to the rest of the gang!!!! Have a greeeeat workout!

SandraX

Hi all,

We are back from the race and DS got second again with a crash. He wasn't happy, but that is better than 15th or 30th or whatever.

I found out that the recumbent stationary bike is a great workout, but definitely did not set well with my back. I was in minoer discomfort all day yesterday and riding in the car for 7 hours didn't help. I finally took an Advil and that didn't help either. I feel better today though.

All of that cardio made me so hungry, which I wasn't expecting, then I didn't have really good stuff available. It wasn't the best eating weekend; just more carbs than I've eaten in a while, which definitely bloat the abdomen.

I'm not sure what I am doing today. We may not go on any more vacations this summer because of FIL. Once we decide for sure what we are doing with that, then I'll decide the start date for a Cathe rotationm(the butt and leg one). Plus, if DS qulaifies for the World bike team he wants to go to Scotland. We may wait and go to Moab around Christmas.

I read through the thread from yesterday and here are some brief personals.

Traci - Glad you had a nice day with DH. We haven't had any time in so long, it really is unhealthy. Where did you come up with having to be 105 to get the desired BF? That sounds ridiculous. I don't see how any thing can give a weight to get a desired BF because everyone's amount of muscle is different.

Debra- Constant emotional turmoil is never good. I'm sorry. I had a rock tumbler when I was a kid! I just loved it, although I do remember being a little sad that it had to run for so long before you get the final product. I still pick up cool rocks when we are out hiking.

Wendy - Glad to see you back.

Sandra - I've seen increased mobility in my hips too. I was reading on Tnation that restricted hip mobility can cause back issues. I'm wondering if that wasn't part of my problem. I would love to get an RA position. It is such good experience, but I probably won't. They struggle to keep students in RA positions around here. There are just too many people in school.

Jeanette - I know that the computer takes time. I'm not reading a book right now, so I have a little more time, plus I'm off. Once I go back to work it will be much harder. Just post when you can.

Nicole - Post when you can. Do the yoga first though, the benefits are so great; flexibility and calmness, what more can one ask for? LOL!

Cheryl & Wendy - Whe is the RT? You all must be so excited. I wish I had been more aggressive about trying to go. I could probably have driven up there, we are not that far. Oh well, but I don't have any cute workout clothes to wear......

Annointed - The progress in the X is amazing, but I still think that you can get it with Cathe too. You just have to think differently. Yoga has helped me with the dive bombers and I can do quite a few now. The others know, I don't think you can beat a series of various push ups for an overall upper body workout. The benefits are unbelievable.

Well off to figure out what I'm doing for the day. I know that I have to wash and FIL is here so I may have to watch him. He is such a nice man, but it is so hard to remain positive about the whole situation when DH and his brother cannot seem to make any long term decisions, so they just live day to day.

Tracy

ΨSandraX
Hope you enjoyed some of the cake sites and found a little inspiration for your business! I see you as so successful in that creative industry! LOL naming computer gadgets! I’d be VERY afreaid they’d come to life- think I saw a Si-Fi movie YEARS ago about that!!! Thanks for taking the time to explain your project! I am constantly telling DH what a high caliber of women I chat with everyday- He agrees- You all are WAY to smart!!! LOL I again bow before you for not skipping w/o! I cant imagine what your little voices say to you that make you just do it- maybe your little voices could call my little voices and give them a few pointers? I’ve had SIX complete rest days this month… Gotta work on that! * Enjoy that new rotation today- When do you take rest days? Do you do Yoga on rest days now? CONGRATS on the new ipod (Ivy I think?) … Did you buy that in anticipation of Cathe Ipod w/o’s?

ΨDebraX:
CONGRATS on getting so much done in the house this weekend! I’m sure it feels more like a home vs a house once your personal touches get added! Enjoy all your free morning time for awhile… It will probably be good for BOTH you & DD! Must be challenging having Eoin lick ice cream while DD is there! HA * CCPump… I had never heard of it before but will check it out! I think it sounds like great fun and yet ANOTHER way for me to spend quality time w/ Mr McDreamy!! * On the pics & new outfits… My receipt said at least 8 weeks due to high demand! I think I’ll get some pics up to start with and then I can always redo them on www. They will be primarily bust shots so I’m not sure how much I’ll be able to show off how totally cool those outfits are! * I agree Squeeze is HARD! I can never complete all the arm reps either… but I don’t hit pause and resume… I rest and wait for her to be done! HAHAHAH

ΨWendyX:
You ALWAYS amaze me with your ability to describe Cathe’s torture!! ^ 5! I am in TOTAL agreement about the floor work! I attempted it exactly 2 times before convincing myself that nobody really NEEDS floor work! LOLOL I told myself that I don’t see Cathe going to her Gym on her legs day and actually doing this…. LOLOLOL
I pronounce Shiva just like Jeanette and I pronounce Eoin – Long E- un …. What do I know- So sorry that darn foot isn’t healed yet…. Hopefully pain will be gone before R/T BUT I hope its still black & blue so you can say that’s your reason why you have to modify classes! LOL!!! YES my world feels centered again… I should have known that the disarray was due to full moon ….

OK X Team- I think I am all caught up with lives & happenings…. OFF TO GET THE WEIGHTS DONE! – ok- maybe just ONE more cup of coffee!

OK – If I don’t get my workout in this morning its Sandra & Tracy’s responsibility! LOL

TracyX
Welcome Home! With a crash? LITERALLY???? Hope he is OK! Glad the back issues were short lived… amazing what can flare up isn’t it? I have to say that I am AMAZED I am not bloated from carbo load yesterday… It had been 9 days since I had any starchy carbs & yesterday I was going for it- This morning tummy still flat (as flat as it gets) & I’m not bloated…. I was surprised. Scotland eh? This bike stuff is way cool! LOL on the 105! I MUST have done some equations wrong… Cheryl sent me some material from a bodybuilder site to add to my repertoire of training materials… I agree- 105 is ridiculous… Even the lowest healthy weight for me with NO great muscle mass is 117. I think I’ll revisit the calculations when I have time to screw with it more. Hope day with FIL doesn’t take too much out of you.

WENDY X
I am so sorry- I TOTALLY forgot to ask how DH is doing with his dads passing? I hope he is talking about it with you… Its like pulling teeth to get my DH to talk about losing his dad.

SandraX
Take note….. SECOND POST TO YOU TODAY! Silly gal!
I like that LaurieXX has kept using headers… it helps to be reminded of everyones focus… I shall start as well! On tennis…. My dad tried making me into the next Chrissy Everett when I was young but I hated the pressure of having to please… I stopped playing for so many years that I doubt I will be providing DH with any exercise at all! http://tonyhorton.blogspot.com/
Just for you my dear!

XXOO to all! Stay in the FLOW!

Happy Monday,

Boy do weekends fly! Yesterday, I had a nice time at church :D and the preacher preached a very inspirational message:D afterwards went to sister Daphane house she stay about 6 houses from our church. I had din…din… with her, then we sat around talking.

But ladies, when I got home, I finally decided to open up a bottle of wine I had for weeks. I drank the whole bottle and I got DRUNK that’s a sicken feeling, I tell ya, it wasn’t a pretty site, laying there in my bed moaning and groaning, barely could walk from bedroom to kitchen wasn’t good.

Anywho, I slept late got up around 5:30 didn’t feel much like working out at all, Big Time hang over.

Today starts week 2 of P90X upper body. Tonight’s workout will be BB abs & legs & glutes. I check back when I can today, much to do.
:)

ADD -ON

What is the new P90X master series about, our these his newest?

Good morning!
Today was Kickmax Cardio Leg Sculpt premix (shortened to 40 minutes instead of 52 and then Coremax Balanced Core for 22 minutes. I modified the knee tucks as I hate the jarring on my body. Today is work, a dentist appointment for a crown, grocery shopping and then grouting another wall of the hearth. Guess that takes care of any free time or computer time too so this will probably be it.

Traci, so glad you got the 9 hours of sleep. I stayed up until the last showing of The Tour was over so that I could see the podium ceremony and when I woke up, it was rodeo or ultimate fighting or something so missed it. Only got 4 hours sleep. Hopefully, tonite I can get to bed early after the grouting is done. So nice for you to have a great time with DH out and about. I used to play a little tennis when I was in high school many moons ago. I was told a few times on Friday by those trying to help me at how unrelaxed my body was for the swing. I figure that's to be expected. It can only get better, right? Wow, I think I was 105# in 4th grade. I'll never see that again.

Tracy, congrats to your son on his 2nd place! Scotland would be awesome to go see. My sister went there about 5 years ago and loved it. Hope DS was not injured too badly in the crash. I hear that recumbents work your leg and back muscles differently than a regular upright bike. I tried out a recumbent on the road once, it was actually very relaxing.

Sandra, way to go on doing MIC even though the voices were saying to skip. You are so strong mentally!!! Yes, that Cathe is a tiny thing. I'm enjoying the premixes, though I still have to cut some of them down to make a 60 minute workout.

Anointed, sorry about the hangover. Gosh, it's been years since I've overdone it and I sure don't miss it at all. Take it easy today, okay?

Got to go, hi to everyone.

Jeanette

Morning Ladies,

Rotation: Cathe's July '07
Workout: Week 2/Day 4/KM Low Impact Timesaver

Well my Friday last week didn't go as planned. I went to the grocery store right after work. Got home from there and made dinner for the girls and DH, since he took the day off. Then we had company as we where eating our dinner. So no workout for me. I will get this KM Low Impact Timesaver in today, and will see if I have the energy to do the MM Upper Body Only Premix.

My DH gave our guilde a good talking too. Had to interupt him when he dropped the F bomb. But I think that the guilde got the hint, because there was a lot of apologizing going on. :) Proud of him though. And at the end of the day I got an "I love you" from him for no reason at all. :+ Figured there was much relief of stress on his part. He has felt that this is the first weekend that his head wasn't about to explode. :)

Sandra, I see that you are doing the July '07 Rotation. You will probably get the thing done before I will. :) But I have been enjoying doing the premixes a lot.

Tracy, Glad your DS was ok after the crash, and 2nd is very good. Glad you back is feeling better. Have to be happy that all the Yoga you have been doing, probably helped with the back pain.

Traci, It is very nice that you and your DH got the chance to spend time together like that. When the faire is done (this coming weekend is 5th of 9), DH and I usually get in some much needed couple time. I think we will appreciate it more this year than any other. :)

Have to look at the weekend posts, and get back a bit later.

My oldest DD starts cross country in just a couple of weeks. She confessed to me that she is scared of going. Found out it wasn't the CC she was worried about, it was the fact that she was going into High School. I think she will be fine, but I can understand her hesitation. This will be the largest school she has ever attended, and I don't really know what she is going through. I graduated with a class total of 40 classmates, she has something in the range of 400. :) I have her talk to friends of ours that have graduated with large classes.

Have a great day!

Laurie

Hello fellow lady Xers!

workout....Cardio & Weights cardio + upper body premix

So, I have good news and bad news....The good news...even though my eating was atrocious last week and I did not stick to my original exercise plan...I still lost a pound! WooHoo! Gotta love getting ttom started! Bad news...unlike Traci..I slept horribly last night. I was planning on getting my workout in while DD is at art camp...but it is just not happening this morning. In fact it may just be a rest day for me since I have plans with my mom this afternoon. We'll see how I am feeling later....but now, it's not looking good.

Laurie...Sounds like you guys have more drama off the stage than on with your group this year! That must be stressful for your DH...and for you! It is understandable that DD is nervous...poor thing! My DD is battling that some, too, since she is starting a new school this fall....I left her holding the hand of the art teacher this morning so I could get out the door without her breaking down in tears!

Jeanette...The debate is still out about more horse lessons at this point...I know she wants too...but I'm not sure if she's ready. We'll make a decision by the end of this week. Sounds like you had a nice weekend with the family and the Tour. Great workout this morning, too!

Wendy...You make me LOL about BG...it's tough, hunh? Also...the neighbors...Jeez..I just don't like it when EVERYTHING is about religion! It's so much more part of the culture down here...and I had forgotten about all of that since I haven't lived here in 10 years....That kind of stuff seems to fade from my memory...or maybe, I was just so used to it, that I didn't pay any attention growing up and it is only since I have been away that I notice things here. Congrats on your kitchen project moving along too. That Phil is a keeper!

Sandra...Have fun with BM2...I think I was supposed to do that one a couple of days ago...but I will get to it soon, I promise! Do you have any other projects starting in the fall after DD #1 gets back in school? I now have the tumbler completely wrapped in a blanket so I don't have to hear the incessant grinding. Not sure if the hamster would like all of that noise!

TG...Good gracious woman...That wine must have been good! Next time only a couple of glasses though! Hope you get to feeling better quickly. Drink lots of water and gatorade!

Tracy...Congrats to DS on his 2nd place slot. That's great! I would love to go to Scotland...My DH has a really good friend in Russia who is Scottish. They hang out at a local Irish pub in Moscow...How's that for international? Sorry to hear your back is bothering you. I am sure a couple sessions with Shiva will work out the kinks. Send those rocks down to me and I will get them polished for you...in about a month...LOL...considering how long this process takes! Sorry to hear about FIL situation, too. Why is it that men have such a hard time making decisions when it comes to the people they love?

Traci...I am squandering my time on the computer this morning without DD around...although if she were here she would be asking me when I am going to be done so that she could get on Barbie.com! Nice that you had such a good day with DH. It's hard to find that quality time, isn't it? We get so wound up in our every day routines and our personal interests that we forget to take the time with each other. I was thinking about you as I lay awake at 3am...I almost got up and logged on just so that I could start the thread and really freak you out! Glad to know that I am not alone in the arm reps in Squeeze...I do rewind and do them all though! I'm really excited about Cathe's new stuff too...The weight work sounds great...and the cardio is all short...Could there be a better world??

Okay...better head to do...hum, what was I going to do again? Oh, yeah...take a shower! I smell like one of the mini mules...Not pretty for sure...I also saw some sheep yesterday within a mile or so of our house. Critters galore!

Hi to Amy, Swifty, Cheryl and Nicole! Hope you are all doing well this morning.
Debra

Hi, everyone! Looks like everyone's stoking up for a great week.

Sandra, the RT is Aug 10. For a long time I had been thinking Aug 17, but no, it's Aug 10. Yikers! less than 2 weeks!
You could drive up and join us for dinner??? }( }(

This morning I had a really fun workout - Push/pull UB 2x followed by Rhythmic Step. 90 min. total, becuase I skip the cooldown of the first and the warmup of the second when it's a double workout. I especially liked the supermans/abs combo from push/pull

Gotta run - more later - looks like everyone's doing well!

Cheryl

Hi all,

Thanks to all for the congratulations on DS second.

Anointed – I don’t envy the hangover. Been there done that years ago. Alkaseltzer always helped, but it tastes nasty.

Dabra – I too am avoiding the inevitable of either cleaning or working out. I think that the workout will come first. Sorry about the sleep. I’m ruined without sleep and I never know whether to read, lay there, turn on the tv or what. I rarely sleep straight through anymore because my hip/groin still bothers me when I sleep.

Cheryl – I almost picked up PP today, but decided to do GS one more week. PP and SS really are unused gems for me.

Traci – Crashes can be bad in downhill bike racing; speed, metal, and gravity don’t mix well. He actually came off of the bike, which wastes a lot of time.

Off to do GS chest and back plus some pull ups.

Tracy

Back again gang-
Weights done, step fit done (ya’ll kept talking about it dang it!) deciding between Eoin & Baron yoga- I think it will be Long & Lean for some extra shoulder/back burn.

Wanted to make a mention here gals- Wendy, Swifty, Amy, Cheryl.... Ya'll arent talking much about R/T and I just wanted to say that I would love to hear all your excitement. Personally it would NOT make me feel left out- I LOVE living vicariously thru others... Didnt know if you guys were keepin it toned down out of respect for those of us who couldnt/didnt choose to go.... Personally I want to hear every detail leading up to, including and after thoughts.

~TeddyGirl~
Oh NOOOOOO :-( on the hangover? I’d have puked after glass 3! LOL So what prompts one to drink an entire bottle of wine? Were you upset last night? I do hope all is OK. BTW- I’m typing very quietly just for you today. {{{{{{{{{hugs}}}}}}}}}

~JeanetteX~
Awesome w/o Ms X! I agree that the knee tuck jumps are a bit much on the joints… I usually just do high knee jog if that. I need my body to last a long time for lots of different activities! So sorry you missed the ceremonies… I was so happy when we got TiVo because I’m notorious for doing what you did! LOL on the 105#s – I was NEVER 105! I was a fat kid and a skinny 20 something but NEVER below 118!

~LaurieXX~
Sorry that Friday didn’t go as planned but I have no doubt that with all your activities that 1 day will not adversely affect you in any shape or form! LOL on DH and F-Bomb!}( Sometimes that’s the ONLY way to get a group of people to listen up. Glad you were the support he obviously needed. 3 more weeks of Faire? OH MY! Lets hope it is smooth sailing from here on out. * {{{{ DD}}}} I was so frightened going into HS… Left 1-8 at a small private school then was put into the public school system for HS… I was a MESS! I never did adjust and ended up taking classes so I could graduate 8 months early. I have ZERO friends from that period in my life- I wouldn’t know a name if it appeared before me… very isolated time in my life… I shudder recalling it. You’ll help her thru it- you are a very aware & involved mom.

~DebraX~
AWESOME workout you have planned! With the upper/cardio mix! You ROCK! & YOU WILL GET IT DONE! You are just that kinda Xer! Congrats on the Wt loss! Seems no matter what you do in terms of food these days you lose weight! *itch! ;-) :D
Enjoy mom time!!!! I’m so glad you didn’t decide to CALL me at 3am! ROF… I would have been a very rude friend! Although I did wake up around 315 and made myself stay in bed… Could it be I felt your vibes????

~Cheryl~
NICE w/o for a Monday morning Ms Cheryl! I do believe the RT has re-inspired you! Are you planning a rest day or 2 before the actual first class ? I think I’d HAVE to! LOL

OK- I smell like the same mules DebraX smelled like so I’m off to hit showers – run errands – then Yoga it….. DH may want to hit some tennis balls tonight so that will be a great outlet for all my carbo-loaded energy I have today!
:*

TracieX: Aw, romances is in the air, sounds like you guys had the most perfect evening, hm……no wonder you slept 9 hours:+ :p , how nice lol. I’m romancing this week with my X, Ted, hate for him to cry, I swear this young tender loves me like crazy. Nice workout today, I can’t believe my strength gains either, really, can’t wait for workout #3 C&B :)

TraceyX: Welcome back and happy dances for DS second place, that’s awesome. Yep! My progress is crazy (good crazy) I did 8 or more of every exercise, that fantastic progress huh! Does this mean I have too top new numbers lol;-)

Hello, Laurie :) Sandra:) Wendy :) Laurie:) Amy:) and Jeanette:) hope I did not miss anyone.

May 07' Rotation

Kick Max "Cardio Leg Sculpt" Premix (52 min) + Core Max #1

Good morning ladies,

Today is a busy day! We are taking our two oldest sons to see Transformers after my DH and I exercise. He is off for his bike ride and I am off with Cathe:):)
Had a bit of a scare yesterday. My DH went on his bike ride and after he was 45 minutes late I went looking for him. I drove the route he goes on for an hour and a half with no luck. By that point he was over two hours late. I called the hospital and my brother, who is a firefighter and medic, called all of his guys at the station to see if they had an cyclists on the ambulance. No luck! My dad drove the route again one way and I went the other way. DH had been on the side of the road with a flat tire and two broken valve stems for 2-1/2 hours:( Poor guy. He saw me drive right by and tried to wave me down but I was looking straight ahead. Glad my dad saw him. DH folks were out looking too and his mom thought he was dead for sure. The route he rides has had fatal bike accidents before so that is why we were so concerned. Glad we found him and it's over.

Hope to be back later for personals,

Nicole

Hey, gang!

Wow, it sounds like everyone is back "home" for now!

Traci- I am glad that you got a chance to "re-connect" with DH! I am glad that you had fun as well. Good luck with tennis! I tried learning how to play, but it was as a freshman in college and I had too much of the high school volleyball in me at the time! I lost more tennis balls than I can remember!

Nicole- Wow, that would be very scary!! I am glad that DH was okay! I know the feeling, especially when DH drives anywhere without me (too many car accident scares with him!) Sounds like another vote for taking the cell phone along next time!

TG- WOW! You sure do make progess fast! I couldn't ever get the dive-bomber push-ups to save my life!!! Heck, I have a hard time with Big-Girl push ups!!!

Well, I spent Saturday night at work putting together a rotation of sorts. I have been doing upper/lower body splits with HIIT in between, but I think that I am going to split up the upper body weight work a bit. I sat and listed all the upper body weight exercises that I like (and dislike) and decided to split into back/shoulder/biceps and chest/tris. Well, in trying to keep my workouts within the 1 hr time-frame, it ended up that I had 2 days of b/s/b and 2 of c/t. So, then I sat and listed all the lower body stuff and came up with 2 splits (with abdominals tossed in as well). So, I ended up with a rotation that looks like this, please tell me what you all think---

Week 1
Day 1- B/S/B-A (with abs)
Day 2- leg-A
Day 3- HIIT #1 (30 second speed/90 sec recover)
Day 4- C/T-A (with abs)
Day 5- legs B
Day 6- HIIT #2 (60 sec hi resistance, 60 sec low)
Day 7- rest
Week 2
Day 1- B/S/B-B (with abs)
Day 2- Legs A
Day 3- Hiit #1
Day 4- C/T-B (with abs)
Day 5- legs B
Day 6- HIIT #2
Day 7- rest

Hi all,

I want to hear about the RT. It's better than not being there.

I just finished GS BSC. I had a great workout and my weights are at or above X weights. I rotated body part exercises, doing all of one back, sh, ch, etc. then inserted a set of pushups and assisted pull ups for each of the 4 rotations. Then at the end I was able to do 8, 8, 5, 4 unassisted chin ups. I felt pretty good about that.

Well off to finish some paperwork for my second job.

Tracy

Evening,

Legs & Glutes:) done abs done:) Yay...Yay Okay me bubble bath is awaiting :) I probably check back to see what you ladies are up to.

Hello there ladies...Just wanted to let you know that I had a pretty productive day...even if I took a short nap! Worked around the house some more...and made a plan for the rest of the house so that it looks good when my BFF comes this weekend. Also bought some furniture for my front porch...so that's done! I have to go to the grocery store tomorrow...will have to do another run later this week for BFF's visit...but I am running out of food for my DD to eat!

So, I'm going to talk about my workouts for a bit...I don't think I ever mentioned what I did yesterday...I did some pilates with Jennifer Kries...who if you haven't done her stuff before integrates a lot of yoga and ballet moves too. Got a great stretch and felt it in my legs, too. She does a lot of centering and of course core work. Tonight I ended up doing a bit of a homemade mish mosh....I mixed the first 5 intervals of Imax2 with the heavy upper body of cardio and weights by using the mix and match feature. I made a circuit workout by doing one interval and then a body part then interval 2 and a body part...etc. Worked out great...time flew and I felt wonderful and strong after!

Okay...enough about me and my happy workout world...except I am almost ready to take some pics of the house...maybe next week!

TG...You are rocking with Tony lately! Hope the bubbles eased your weary body and mind!

Nicole...So glad DH was okay!!!!!! My goodness you must have been scared to death! Where were your boys when you were looking for him? Are you having lots of fun with Cathe this week? How did you feel about Core Max after ARX?

Tracy...I know you got the workout in...but did you get your household chores done? It's nice to see you more often now that you are off of your main job for a few weeks!

Traci...Just have to say that your comment is why I ended up doing my mish mosh instead of the straight workout. I thought...Hmmm...How can I make this harder and I couldn't remember the last time I did Imax2...probably when I was subbing for PlyoX...LOL! You motivated me without even meaning too...See what a great trainer you are going to be?!? I am sure that my weight loss is due to your training abilities...does that make you feel better? Have no fear...I wouldn't call anyone...not even you...before 10am...although...usually you are on your first nap by then..LOL! Hope you finished yoga...What about tennis with your DH...did that happen?

Cheryl...Glad you enjoyed your workout...WooHoo on the RT!!!

Amy...Your rotation looks great...God bless your little heart for doing HIIT twice a week! There is no way I could do that. Hope you and DH are doing well.

Okay..one of my favorite shows is coming on...and I think I am caught up! Everyone have a great evening...see you in the morning!
