Xers **magical monday**

Good, er, Morning Gang!!

TraciX was right, it was a GREAT sleep! Clocked in at just over 24 hrs except for a short 2 hr up and about about 9pm last night. Just long enough to make Traci's BBB (breakfast burrito in a bowl) except mine was on a plate and with black beans! It was super yummy!!!

No yoga for yesterday, but I do love that workout! I am going to change it up with the StretchX tape so there's a 'rest' day between my heavy weight days.

TraciX- I have a question for you. How much time to you spend surfing the internet for cool/fun workout videos! I've never heard of SQUEEZE, but it looks interesting. I also saw an infomercial a couple of weeks ago about an abs routine that looks killer. It's at www.benderball.com and I am considering spending some tax money on it! I have Janis Saffell's Tai Chi/Kickbox workout and I love it, I will have to look into her other ones, too, now......THANK YOU VERY MUCH!!!}(

Hello! Hope you know that SandraX has me sitting up straight and listening hard!:7

I watched as the UPS man drove up and then down my road this afternoon without stopping in.:-(

I posted today "here" I thought. But, I looked and no sign of me posting here. So, wherever my P90X no UPS man blues tears were shed someone else caught them by mistake. Should I be embarassed? No!;)

I did Terminator this AM. It rocked!

Until tomorrow.....

Good gracious...you guys have been on a roller coaster today! I am doing well here...seems like the inspection went well...although I won't get the results for a few days...but since the buyer was asking me about what furniture she could buy from me...I figured she is pretty sold on the house! She wants (if I want to get rid of) my dining table, my kitchen table, all my office furniture, my counter stools in the kitchen, and my tv and stand in the family room. I am definitely willing to get rid of the office stuff and the kitchen stuff....I'm not sure about the dining table yet...'Cause let me just remind you guys, I love new furniture! But I'm going to wait until I find a house in NC before I decide. And did I also mention, the town that I am moving to in NC is the furniture capital of the world?!? Okay...done with that for now!

Since I have no exciting exercise revelations to post...I'll just answer a few personals...If I don't get to you..please forgive me...I should have more time tomorrow!

Sergeant SandraX...On a roll today I see!!! First of all...I have never noticed the neigh in ARX...but my dog sounds like a horse half the time...so it may have just gotten mixed up with all the other noises in the house. So, if you did CB today...you must have plyo on the books tomorrow...Are you doing the X or an Imax sub? Glad to know that the DDs have survived another day...Good luck with keeping social services at bay!

TraciX....Okay...It sounds like you have worked through most of your difficulties today...Just have to say first of all...{{{{{HUGS}}}} to you! Now that the love is over...stay on what works for you....I had no idea you were doing so much cardio before the X...I am sure it is easy to slip back into your old habits...but now you know that your body reacts well to heavy weights and minimal cardio...so go with it! Take what you have learned about yourself and use it to your advantage...Think of how many people never figure out what works for them! IMO you should stick with the X...with light doubles...and sub when you need (or boredom sets in). I remember last month how lost you seemed without the X to guide you...Don't let that happen again...and stay with what you know works...and of course, eat as healthily as you can. Okay...off my high horse now! Just know that I care about your goals and want what is best for you!

Teddygirl...What did I miss?! A liver biopsy?! I am sure it is none of my business, but just wondering why...and hoping you are okay!

Swifty...Love the avatar...and I am going to send all of my delivery vibes to that darn UPS guy...I hope that he is at least a cutie when he does come to your door!

Wendy..Hope DS is home safe and sound!!

Laurie....Glad you had a good time with your parents!

Jeanette...Hope you had a good ride tonight...let me know how your new rotation is working out. I am a week and a half from being done with my current rotation...which I feel like has kept my strength gains. Looking to lean out a bit...although, of course, my diet is always a source of strife!

Lea...Hope you are having a great walk with your neighborhood buddies. It is nice to have friends around to get a good walk in with...You can catch up on the neighborhood gossip and get some light cardio in at the same time.

Amy...Sounds like you got some much need sleep. I think I could sleep like that if given half the chance....Just checked out your avatar tonight too...what is kitty's name?

Tracy...I know the weather has been bad out your way...my mom has been complaining about in it in NC too. Hope things are better for you tomorrow...hopefully you won't have to heat your coffee by candles! How is your back coming along? I think you are doing just the right thing with the light cardio and continuing with your upper body strength...It sounds like this is working for you.

Katie...Believe in the X!!! I saw my legs lean out like never before by doing L&B with minimum weights...just where the crew uses them. Try it as written for 30 to 45 days before you add extra weight. After finishing the X, the only thing I thought was missing from the leg work was deadlifts...and I just added some in during phase 3. Glad you enjoyed yoga...that was certainly not one of my favorites!

Debfer....Where are you?!? Hope all is well!

Okay...done for now...hope you ladies have a great night...I should be around tomorrow....I have to vote in the local elections in the morning...but then I will be doing yoga....Gotta get those tragic hips moving! And then I am hoping to take the doggie to the dog park after I pick up DD from school. Hugs to all of you ladies going through a tough time right now...We are all here for you!

Wow, oh wow! You ladies have been busy. Hope I can catch up with personals!

Did a hill climb tonite, pushed a bit for it and it felt very good, no fatigue in legs from yesterdays hill climb. Surprised I'm not sore from the shivering I was doing. Today was PERFECT climbing weather, I mean PERFECT! Ooh, I'm sitting here feeling DOMS in my chest from the Push/Pull workout this morning. Haven't felt THAT in quite some time. Had a nice comment by a gal I hadn't seen in a while re: my arms. I had a sleeveless top on while shopping tonite. Made me feel good.

Oh yeah, something interesting. Another gal that I know sent me an email. She's putting together a triathlon team. She will do the swim, and she's looking for someone to do the 25 mile bike (with hills) and a runner. I got on the website, looked at the course (it's in the Sacramento/Folsom area and goes up to Auburn, CA). Looks challenging and fun. I asked DH what he thought and he said to go for it. The triathlon is May 20th. I emailed her back and told her I was interested.

Traci, I got a notice that my Squeeze DVD has been shipped, also a new throw for the couch. I also got a parcel note in my box to pick something up at the post office. Not sure what that is. Maybe I've ordered so many things I've just lost track. I'll have to search for Janis' BNB on Amazon. I remember writing on here during Phase 2 how I felt puffy with the extra carbs but waited a while for the magic to start. It didn't, in that respect so I cut down the carbs. Works well for me and I still have lots of energy. Just don't take my oatmeal. I live for my oatmeal. No walk at work today, just worked thru my lunch. Very busy day, hopefully tomorrow will be better and I can scratch some stuff off my list. I know you'll find your groove soon with the workouts. Yep, I think you should go back to less cardio. It sure worked back then and hopefully will work again. Will you still be doing doubles? Maybe your occasional double could be an easy bike ride for fun.

Sandra, did you get the grocery shopping in? After my bike ride tonite, I slipped some pants on over my bike clothes and went into Safeway. Got my veggies and such for the week. I know DH bought chips because he was feeding the dogs a couple. He's got them hid somewhere. Yes, my DD lives nearby. She stays pretty busy, homeschools, rides horses. She's a real doll. I raised her since 1979, when she was 4. She's a great mom for sure, just like you are. Of course I've got to replace Imax2. It's really one of my favorites and I love the music in it. One of the intervals at the beginning is my favorite, where you kind of skip backwards a step. I emailed Cathe.com customer support to see if they would replace it as they have a lifetime guarantee if you buy the DVD from them. I have honestly never heard the horse neigh in ARX.

Lea, glad you could spend time outside. I'm itching to spend more. It was beautiful today, but darn, I was inside for 8 plus hours before I was released from prison. The bike ride was wonderful and I pushed fairly hard too. My ride on Thursday if the weather cooperates will be an easier one for sure and be more of a chatty girlfriend ride.

Wendy, you are always so busy! Glad your son decided to change is myspace blog. Sometime these kids stray a little, but they will come back and appreciate you later. LOL re: sleeping all the time to lose weight. I've thought the same thing before too.

Teddygirl, sounds like you had a good weekend, I'm so glad. Love that feeling of peeing and peeing. Know you do too. Can you tell us about the liver biopsy? Another gal (Monica) on this thread during the last P90X round had a biopsy and it proved to be negative. We were all so relieved. Our thoughts are with you. Sorry about the ticket. I got stopped about 6 months ago for going 20 over in a 25mph zone. He let me off and told me to SLOW DOWN! I said thank you Mr. Officer.

Tracy, yes, crazy weather everywhere. I swear it is getting worse and worse. Glad your power came back on. Don't you have a woodstove to heat water on? LOL re: heating your coffee over 3 candles. If I was smart enough to think of it, I'd do it too. Me loves my coffee in the morning, not as much as oatmeal, but darned close.

Katie, you loved YogaX? Good for you. It never really clicked for me, but what I think I couldn't get over was the 90 minutes. I rarely do a workout that lasts over 60 minutes. Sounds like you are really clicking with P90X. Did you take before pictures? Legs & Back as is worked fine for me, though maybe adding weights would have made them better. They are definitely not my strong suit as I carry most of my weight there, but they were the best they'd been.

Amy, I wasn't much for YogaX, but StretchX felt nice for me.

Swifty, I'm so sorry about the UPS man not stopping today. Sending good vibes that he pulls in tomorrow with your package. The Terminator is awesome!

Debra, sounds like the house deal is going well. Oooh, new furniture. Bet you are excited about that. The ride was wonderful and my workout this morning was a good one (Push/Pull). Tomorrow is Step Blast for me and then Rhythmic Step on Friday for cardio. I'll be pulling out workouts that have been unused in my cabinet for quite a while.

Whew!! That took a while. Hope everyone has a good night. On my way out to the family room to sit with DH for a while.
