Hey team X...IT GOT ME... Woke up at midnight with DH's flu bug- and its here with a vengence... Going to sign off for the day and stay in bed- we have a big concert Sat nite that we are going to with many people so I just cant miss it... Jimmy Buffett hasnt been to Houston in 3 years and he is kicking off his 2007 summer tour with little ole' us! If I gotta take a pail and wear -depends- I'm going...

How sick is she really you ask???? I havent even wanted to look at a cup of coffee- on my deathbed!

Hugs to all -see ya tomorrow

Awwwww Traci-X!!! I hope you feel better FAST! Do you have that nasty stomach virus that's been going around?? :-( My son had it over Christmas and it spread like wild-fire through my family. Knock on wood-I never got it some how. I hope you are well enough to enjoy the Buffet concert this weekend!:)

Wendy, I was giggling at your Sargaent Sandra comment! I am taking pics on saturday morning. It's the first day that DH will be around to do it for me in the morning. Weekday mornings are too rushed for him and I *refuse* to take them in the afternoon or evening!

Laurie, Thanks!:) Don't ya just love how the bosses get paid the big bucks to galavant while everyone else gets paid beans and do all of the work!? x(

Sandra, You are too funny girl! If you cut and paste your head on my body, I wanna see it!LOL :p :7 I don't think I'll win the contenst but it'll be fun to send 'em in and see what happens anyway.

Jeanette, You are a fellow coffee lover I presume? :9 I drink it all day and night. I just have to switch to decaf after dinner. :7 Thanks re the pics. It was hard to stay on track with the X. I was never very good at following a scheduled rotation like that. I had to re-arrange things at times but I was determined to stick with it! I'm glad that I did. It was well worth it. :+

Hi all,

Hi all,

Yesterday I did 30 minutes on the stationary bike, then the standing part of B&G. I felt good and used 10s and 12s, but still the legs are weaker than before this happened. Then I did Tone and really felt great! I hit a milestone today and could stand with my legs straight and touch the floor! I know that seems minor, but from where I was that is huge. Plus, I had no discomfort all day.

Traci - I'm so sorry that you are sick. Take care of yourself. We will miss you today.

Wendy(up early Wendy)(OH no, two Wendys two Amys, I'll never keep this straight!) - You are up bright and early. Do you live on the east coast or are you just an early riser?

Wendy – I have been making such progress with my flexibility that I decided not to pursue physical therapy. I think that it is basically stretching and probably some strengthening and I can figure that out my self. As far as the rehab, because it was acting like sciatica with pain numbness and locked up back and leg, I started with stretching the glute, inner and outer thighs, hamstrings and quads. The more flexibility I have regained, the more sort of in-depth stretches I have added. I’ve been stretching in a arc if possible, instead of just one static direction. If you have a weaker side, I would try to do as much as you can with dumbbells, because the barbell will still allow you to cheat. Then, if there are two back to back exercises, one using both hands or using a barbell then going to something like one armed kickback, always start with your weak arm. That helped me balance my back and left arm out. Does that make sense?

Amy – Did I miss something? Are you buying egg whites in bulk or is that something to do with scrambled eggs premixes? Sometimes I’m a little slow. If it’s egg whites in bulk, I do feel a little guilty throwing all of those yolks away.

Sandra – Buying some books huh? You know it is still the diet. Yes, I’m saying that it is possible that physical ailments have an emotional side. I’m sure there probably was a physical problem to begin with, but can you go for any period of time without having the urge? If so, what makes that different than when it flares up? I’ll pm you what was happening with my back if you are interested. The zip and hollow should be really good for that, not to mention the mummy tummy.

Jeanette – I see you are a believer in the B6 and evening primrose. It’s like magic isn’t it? Sometimes when I find stuff like that, I wonder how I went so long without finding the information.

Debra – Glad you are feeling better. I’ll be interested to hear what you think about Tosca’s book, coming from a professed bad eater.

Sandra – JMO on the lactic acid build up. I don’t like to get that feeling, but high reps does build endurance and lean muscles plus more tolerance to lactic acid build up. I think that it is worse with all of the pulses, and light cardio, yoga, or movement after that type of exercise gets rid of it for me. Or you have to suffer through flushing it out the next day with light work, which then I think compromises that workout, unless it’s a light day. That’s why I like the heavier weights and the general feeling of tired and fatigued muscles, vs DOMS. I don’t get DOMS much anymore though. That’s also why doing legs and cardio on the same day works for me.

I have training all morning at work today, but I'll bbl.

Tracy

Doubles/ Phase3/ Week3/ Day5

Good morning,

Yoga for Happiness appears to work amazingly well. I'm so thrilled that I stumbled across it at the bookstore last night that I'm still feeling very, very happy. Didn't even have to take the wrapping off!

TraciX - <standing back a great distance> ((((((((((HUGS)))))))))) You poor thing. I feel terribly for you. Since it appears to be a 24 hour bug, then just try and hang in there until midnight tonight. By 2am I expect you'll be up and "catching up" on your workouts. I hope DH is staying home to look after you!

FitMom WendyX - Does anyone still call you Tigger? Are you still using your trampoline? Don't encourage these crazies. I'm not sure how I "earned" the title Sargeant Sandra, but I guess because it's alliterative, it stuck. If I cut and paste my head on your body, you'll see it for sure! It'll be on the cover of every fitness magazine in the store :) It's wonderful to see that we've sucked you in here on a regular basis. I'm not sure why we persist in having two Xer checkins? If ya'll want to move in, feel free.

TracyX - Wow, what progress you're making with your leg/buttock! I'm very impressed, I must say. Yes, I agree that endurance work is very beneficial. Please do PM me about your back, I would be very interested in hearing more. I was up late last night reading my new books, and looking at the pages I printed from that Pilates website. I want to set myself up a "rehab" type program, and want to target all aspects of the problem: physical and psychological.

Oops, I posted prematurely and forgot to go back to last night.

JeanetteX - It made me smile to read that your idea of a great night is to stay up late, watch tv, and drink coffee. LOL! Do you have any plans for a desert trip this weekend? Is there some Christi Taylor in your rotation? This rotation is sounding more and more interesting....Boy, it all sounds so good to me, I have a hard time staying on track with anything. I want to do it all! I love High Step Challenge, particularly the music. Lucky you!

Wendy - I didn't hear about the reservation incident, either. Please explain.

Amy - why do you order your egg whites? Why don't you just buy a couple of cartons of eggs and separate the yolks as you use them? Surely that's less expensive? I find that when I go up in weights, I do less well in other exercises in the workout, too. It makes sense; you're fatiguing the muscle further. Over time you catch up again, and then you're stronger all around. Also with push ups, I found that as my form improved, my numbers went down a bit. Less cheating makes them harder! 10 Divebombers is still a great number, especially at the end of that workout. Have you ever listened really closely to Tony while you're doing the second set of those? You can hear him whispering all sorts of encouragement to himself. I never noticed that until this second round. I find it very interesting, and makes me feel better about how tough they feel by that point.

This morning I'm going to spend some more time reading and figuring out a plan of action that will work for me. My workout for the day will be GS Legs standing work, circuited with the 8 sets of pull/chin ups from Tony's LB workout. I'll also warm up with a 30 min light cardio, possibly All-Step. Instead of doing ARX, I'll be doing some kind of core work, but it will probably just be something recommended by my new books.

Oh, the Magically Hips segment of Finn's yoga is almost an hour long. Why did I think it was only a 15 min segment? Is there a shorter version that can be tacked onto the end of a workout?

With our Fearless Leader KO'd for the day, I fear the list will be quiet today. We've got to pull together to make sure that doesn't happen! Come on Gang! Chat! Were's that New Wendy? She's always good for a humerous novel or two....Someone get her a DD coffee!

Have a great day!
SandraX

Good Morning,

TGIFFFFFFFFFF…………

How is everyone doing this beautiful....beautiful morning :) me, I am feeling good :7

TracieX: poor babe:-( :-( get well so you can enjoy the concert.Drink plenty of fluids and rest:)

SandraX: Nice workout, you cracked me up with that one, her workouts are scrambled :p and see, she always talking about me :p

This morning, up at 4:15 got my coffee ready for Divorce Court! This show really cracks me up:+ I don’t know were they get those folks, watched a little news than up and at it.

I did GS legs, that workout is a masterpiece. I recently brought HSTA, am not all that thrilled about it, but after I finished legs I did the 12 minute cardio workout;-)

Tonight, as soon as I get home, I’m throwing on my jogging pants and T shirt and out the door for a nice long speed walk. Well not to long today I want to finish my spring cleaning I have closets to clean out and winter clothes to store. Last night, when I got home bursts of energy I vacuumed, cleaned both bathrooms, and dusked oh and washed a few loads. I did good.

Well guys back to work, I’ll check in later.

Teddygirl~ is back in the house~:)

Morning Xers,

Doubles: Ph1/Wk3/Day5/Rnd2

Today is Legs & Back / ARX / 3 Mile Run. It is suppose to be a beautiful day, so I will be heading outside for the run. :) Have any of you done any of the Yoga Zone DVD's? I have a friend who is giving 3 DVD's up for $10, they are Power Yoga for Strength and Endurance, Flexibility & Stress Release & Yoga for Weightloss. I have seen some reviews on the first one in particular. I'm thinking it is worth the $10 for all three.

Traci, So sorry to hear you are sick today! Who is going to be leaving food at the door for you? Take care of yourself. As far as my recovery week goes, so far I am looking at doing different yoga. I will be doing other KB workouts. Core Syn is still on my rotation for now.

Jeanette, The Pirates Life game was acctually alot of fun. You play it just like the regular life game, but of course instead of being a doctor you can be a pirate. :) And you go around the board in a ship, instead of a car. :D

Sandra, I am going to try to help with the posts. With the boss (he did get a turkey)and my co-worker out for the day, I get all the questions to answer. At least I don't have any meetings to go to!

Tracy, I agree I know where my gut comes from, and I know that I need to keep going on the clean eating. Just wish DH would help with that, and not come home last night with Cherry Crunch Custard. :9 I only had a little bit of it. :D

Debra, Glad to hear you are feeling better. You had a great workout.

Fitmom Wendy, See this thread is addictive, you need to come back to see what these crazy ladies are up too.

Have to check out thread from yesterday bbl,

Laurie

Good morning,

Today was supposed to by Rhythmic Step but I did it yesterday so did the Muscle Max upper body premix and subbed Tracey Staehle's Core Conditioning (about 15 minutes of it) for the MM abwork. I really liked the CC DVD better this time. Funny how the pelvic tuck on the abwork really works well. I first discovered that with Ab Jam.

{{{{Traci}}}, you poor girl! Just rest today. We want you better and back at it, but don't push too soon. Hopefully, it's as short lived as your DH's. Just pile the dogs around you and sleep, sleep, sleep. Jimmy will be waiting for you. That flu doesn't dare still be sticking around by then. It's going to be history's fastest flu bug.

WendyX, glad to see you posting over here, please stay, please??? A fellow java lover for sure. I never think about adding the decaf. My little vice lately has been fat-free cocoa at night. The results a person gets are motivating, that helped me to stay on track. Noticed that you did sub some of it, but don't think you subbed the strength workouts. Are you still running and training for marathons and 1/2's?

Tracy, I think you have got this back thing handled. Your results of careful stretching and strength are very motivating. I don't have any back problems (knocking on wood), but I have lots of friends that suffer. Of course I always want to give advice on preventive stuff for them, but they just don't get it. Yep, the B6 and Evening Primrose are staples. I doubled my EP and it helped even more. I started, TTOM last night (actually about 3 days early) and didn't even have the usual symptoms of bloating, breasts sore, etc. I swear by the EP. I don't get much in the way of DOMS either. I do notice that after a really tough bike ride, sometimes the next day is tougher breathing wise. Heart rate goes up right away just when climbing the stairs and the burn in my legs starts right away. Is this lactic acid in the system that needs to be chased away? What I've been doing for that is a good walk or easy spin. You know you are in good shape, but when climbing stairs, you feel it RIGHT AWAY. What's the deal?

Sandra, I'm so glad you found Eoin's PY4H. I think the hips segment is 55 minutes long. The best part of it for me is at the end of it, beginning with pigeon. Love pigeon a lot. No trips to the desert this weekend. Tomorrow morning, I have to drive over to a town about 60 minutes away and pick up the woodstove. After that, the carpet cleaning guy will be here and do the carpets and my other couches (not the new ones). DH will be off on Sunday, but I have a bike ride in the morning, which works fine for him so he can sleep in. We may get out in the afternoon with the girls if the weather cooperates. That does sound nice. Next week's weather is looking much nicer, which is good as our club's first hill climb in the series is on Thursday. Hoping we get a bunch of people for it. I need to rally the ladies to make a good showing for this one too. I'm liking the variety with this rotation "Fitness Freak's Get Ready for Summer". Tomorrow is HSC and I'm looking forward to that one too. I think I was really, really ready to go back to some fun workouts. Not sure when I'll start Tony again, but I sure take my hat off to all of you. I'm basically going to just do different rotations that shake things up. I've made comments before that low weights, high reps work really well for me. Then I've also written than heavy weights, low reps work well for me. Well I think they both do, but not for an extended period of time.

Teddygirl, the speed walk sounds really good. I'd join you if I could. If it's nice, I'll get my bike out for an easy spin. Good job on the housework. My bathrooms could really use some attention. Are you feeling energetic enough to do mine?

Got to run,

Jeanette

Hi Laurie,

My very first video was a Yoga Zone Power Yoga for Beginners and I liked it. $10 sounds like a good deal for the three. I'd go for it. Glad the Pirate game was fun for you. I've never had much of an attention span to even finish a game of Monopoly. Used to like Chinese Checkers.
Have a great run today in the sun. Sounds heavenly!

Jeanette

Jeanette: I’m going bike hunting, maybe even check out trading times. I forgot how much fun I use to have. Me and my X use to ride at night, aw good ole days. Now, get these bathrooms cleaned:)

Good Morning!

Classic/Phase 1/Week 2/Day 2

Today is PlyoX. I know that last week I was a little askeered of it, but I'm sort of looking forward to it today.

TraciX-- I am SOOOOOOO SORRY that you caught the bug! I really hope that it's only 24 hrs like DH's!!! Take care of yourself and we'll miss you! (passing a hot mug of tea)

Tracy- Yes, I purchase egg whites in bulk because, like you, I hate tossing the yolks out! I get them at a very reasonable cost at http://www.eggwhitesint.com/. For me, it's a lot cheaper to get them that way than to spend $2-3 for a pint of egg whites, and for several cartons of eggs because there's about 7 dozen egg whites per 1/2 gallon jug!

Sandra- See above;-) Besides, we don't go through that many eggs to make it cost effective.

Tig- I wanted to let you know that your pictures are super inspiring! I hope that I have results like that! (Heck, I wasn't going to take any pictures, but you have inspired me to, although they won't be until 1/2 way into week 2)

Teddygirl- I am glad that you are feeling better! Have a good walk today!

Everyone else that I missed..... hugs and a good day to you!

Good day Xers! Wow! Where has the time gone? MIA for the past day or so. Sorry.

Just too many things to do. The weather turned sunny and I am so darn happy. Work is nuts and disciplining my DD has become a full-time event at home.

I'm continuing with my w/o's. I'm pumped up to workout with Tony. I've previewed some of the DVD's, DH taking pics this weekend, making some workout area tweaks, and doing a fit test. Plans are to start P90X classic week one Monday.

I'm Not great on P/M's. I do enjoy checking in though. Best of health to all who are well and not so well. Have a great Friday!

You guys are bugging me out, how many Amy’s and Tracie's are there:D

AmyX: hello, I am very impressed with your workouts, you are doing a fantastic job. Nice work!!

Swift wind: I hope you dont mind me calling you that :) Monday, I want you to bring itx( I can hear that you are so excited, do tell come Monday.

My legs are just now starting to get DOMS duh! I guess that's why it's called delayed:7 :+

Teddygirl~

Morning ladies. Well, Plyo still kicked my butt the second time around. I think I even struggled with it more today than last week. But I got through it... yea!!!

Traci-X - You would be proud to know that I have reached a point where I am starting to love Tony! Instead of finding his humor goofy I now laugh and shake my head like, "Oh that Tony." I'm really beginning to appreciate him as a trainer now. Makes me want to work harder for him... does that sound silly?

Anyway, as I'm sitting eating my breakfast this morning the P90X infomercial came on, so of course I had to sit and watch it. That's about as bad as when I'd sit and watch Cathe workouts on FitTV... even one's a may have done the same morning.

Looking forward to yoga again on Sunday. Hopefully I won't feel as akward doing some of the moves.

Hope everyone has a GREAT weekend! Work hard ladies!!!:7

Katie

Good morning, you wild ladies!! It sounds like most of you are bright eyed and bushy tail this morning...except for poor Traci...I guess the fumigation didn't work! When I posted that I would do
StrikeZone, I forgot that I haven't gone to get weight gloves yet...so I will do that this afternoon and postpone that workout until tomorrow. I am going to take the doggie on a walk this morning, since it is so nice outside! And then I am going to do Butts and Guts. DD has a playdate this afternoon at someone else's house, so I will have some time to get some stuff done in preparation for our move. There is also an antique fair this weekend in a neighboring town which is really a great event and I am looking forward to it.

Let's see...I'll try to catch up a bit on the personals....

SS (aka Sergeant Sandra)...So glad you will now feel the nectar! Yes, it's a 55 minute workout, but I know that Tracy just adds the hips part on for her stretch....Once you do it all the way through you will see where the hip part really starts and then you can forward to that when you want. And, I have to go back and edit how many !!!! I use...or else that would be my only punctuation! (See?) I'll have to go back to last night's post and see what books you got...Have fun with GS today.

Traci...Sorry you're sick...I am sending fast healing vibes so that you can attend the Buffet concert feeling your best!

Teddygirl...Glad you are feeling better! I am thinking about getting a bike for the summer too. Hope those DOMS are treating you well. And, with the cleaning...just say no!!

Fitmom...I will check out your pics after I post...I always lose my post if I click on something extra. Congrats on completing the X!

Tracy...So glad you are able to touch your toes! I know that is an exciting thing in your world. I should finish up Tosca's book next week...I read it while with DD at her various classes. I will say that I was inspired to eat fresh tuna and fresh corn last night for dinner! I was also interested to hear your thoughts on doing legs and then some cardio after to get rid of the lactic acid. It never occurred to me to do that, but of course it makes sense. I guess that even just a fast walk would help, too.

Jeanette...I have Core Conditioning coming from flickety fit soon...and I am excited to try it. Gotta love MM...just a great all over workout. Sounds like you have a busy weekend planned with the stove, the carpet cleaning and the ride...Hope you get to spend some time with the girls and DH on Sunday.

Laurie...We have nice weather here today too...for which I am eternally grateful. I am having a bit a spring fever...and I am ready for bathing suit season! Hope all of workouts go well today...enjoy the outside run.

Amy...Good luck with Plyo today...I always hated that one! Just felt like too many boy moves for me...Give me an Imax any day!

Swifty...How old is DD? Mine is 6...and she has been so sassy lately! I actually had to put her to bed early the onther night after a couple of warnings...and then she had a tantrum, which I just have to say is completely unlike her! Crazy child! WooHoo! Psych yourself up for the X on Monday.

Is that it? Am I done? I hope I didn't miss anyone...and I am sure that 10 people posted while I was busily typing along. So, hi to Lea, Wendy, Deb (are you still around?), Steph and Monica if you peek in...Oh, and Nicole and Jess...Anyone else?!? I think I covered everyone...if not, please accept my sincere apologies!

ETA..Sorry Katie..I knew I was missing someone!

Debra

Hi all,

Not much time to chat as I have another meeting. The weather is beautiful today and I'm heading out for a long mostly walk, some jog, this afternoon, then about 90 minutes of yoga. I think that I'm becoming addicted. DH will be gone, so I'll have plenty of time. Last night he is in the room folding clothes ( the job he loves) while I was doing my yoga. It kind of ruined the mood. Oh well, I just ignored him.

Sounds like everyone is just doing great.

I can't imagine what a gallon of egg whites even looks like!

Hi to all who follow and don't worry about personals; they can be time consuming. We just love to hear from everyone.

Tracy

Awww! {{{Traci-X}}} I hope you reccuperate fast! Jimmy and us are counting on you! You must be deathly ill if you're turning away from coffee.

Just finished uploading pictures from this morning's adventures. I haven't uploaded pictures of my clan YET. Rest assured it will happen by tomorrow. Love how I string y'all along? }(

Phil and I did all of YogaX LATE last night. Thought of you, Tracy-X, with a ticket in your hand. :) We had to wait until Phil's 1500 calorie, cinder-block shake digested somewhat before he could twist and turn. We didn't get to Yoga till 10:30!

Tonight is CS. I might be sharing my preview thoughts in another post. Depends on how nice I'm feeling. }(

I'll delay you no further. Check out the pictures. Enjoy!

Wendy

Oh dear ladies...I think Traci-X's request for me to come over and post my pics was a ploy to suck another unsuspecting victim into this check-in. It's like the black hole. Once you are in, you never get out!!!:7 :7 :7 }( :p ;) :p }( :7

Well, with all of the warm welcomes and requests for me to stay, how can I say no? Now you ladies are stuck with me and I'm not even doing the X anymore! LOL :)

Tracy, Congrats on your milestone! I'm very happy for you! Yes, I am on the east coast. I tend to get up early but not as early as it would have been if I were out west! :7

Sandra, A fitness mag? Okay, now you are layin' it on a little thick! :p LOL! Yeah, Tigger stuck! I can't shake it now! LOL Funny part is, the obsession with the rebounder died like a dog. It's upstairs in my spare room. I'm about to sell it or give it away cause I don't use it. I keep saying I will but I don't. Aaaaahhhh...yet another fitness gadget collecting dust! LOL

Teddygirl, You watch divorce court at 4 in the morning!? LOL You don't like HSTA? I love that work out. I think it kicks butt! GS Legs is good. I really the floor section of that one. The standing isn't all that great for me as I work my legs w/light weights and there are not enough reps to really fatigue me. Oh well! :)

Jeanette, I subbed cardio and added some leg work while doing the X. I did the upper body strength work outs verbatim. I think I subbed for Legs and Back once at the end cause I was just tired of it. LOL I also threw in some Cathe abs once a week in place of ARX to keep boredom at bay there too. Funny thing is now that I am on to a BBC rotation, I am adding ARX into my routine once per week. It's a great work out...I just couldn't do it 3x per week for 3 months straight! I never started training for that half. I changed my mind. One day I will but for now it's on the back burner. I still run and will probably do some shorter races this year but since doing the X my focus is more on the weights then the cardio right now.

Laurie, I have been tempted by the Power Yoga sets many times on DDD but never bought them cause I didn't know anyone who had them. I recently purchased Yoga Shakti though as I hear it's a goodie. I should have it in about a week. Can't wait!:) $10 for 3 work outs sounds like a bang up deal...I'd go for it if I were you!

Amy, PlyoX is a scarey work out!LOL I don't blame you for being scared the first time you did it. It will get easier though. It did for me! Thanks re the pics. Make sure you take those pics girl! You'll be amazed at your results!

Amy/Swifty, Good luck starting the X! I never took the fit test...I just dove right in! LOL

Katie, Keep pluggin' away at Plyo and it will get easier! :)

Debra, When are you moving? Have fun with Butts and Guts! Ever done the dreaded Leg Blast Premix?? }(

Wendy, Starting Yoga X at 10:30pm!? And you FINISHED it!? WOW, I give you credit! I only got through that entire work out maybe twice! LOL I averaged about an hour of it and also subbed alot with other yoga work outs. I really like it but it's just too long and doing it every week would bore me. I'm like a child with a short attention span!:p

So how's that for my first shot at personals for everyone? I think I did pretty darn good! *pats self on back* :7 ;) :7

Thanks again for the warm welcome ladies!:*

Debra: Cleaning cant say no to that:D Strike Zone, with wt gloves, you go girl. Have fun with Butts & Gut tonight. That on my rotation for next week x(

Wendy: Your daughters are cutie, How dare you cut there hair, how dare you, just kidding:) there hair looks more manageable at that length, you did a nice job. Have a great weekend.

Teddygirl~

Okay, dh and I previewed CS last night. Sandra relished in telling me Dreya was in it. However, it took awhile for me to realize it was her. I think it's because her roots looked darker. Anyhow, Tony didn't drool all over her, so CS was very comfortable to watch! I love Pam the Blam!!! I want her ankles and calves! I am SHOCKED that no one mentioned Dreya's cellulite!!!! (Sandra, do you like my !!!?) Did anyone not notice? Or were you guys being so sweet that you decided not to comment. I noticed and apparently am not so sweet. I had dh rewind to make sure I wasn't hallucinating. Sure enough! There it was around the 41-40 minute mark. Maybe that's why she moans so much in L&B? At any rate, I still think her legs look 100 times better than mine. But, it was nice to see that I'm not the only one who's plagued with the cottage cheese effect. Misery loves company. ;-)

Wendy-X: You're funny! Certain lighting is NOT our friend! ;-) I'm so glad you posted here. I hope you stay around and whip us first timers when we need it. Sarg could use the help as she has a lot of us to keep in line! Also, I'd like to hear about your BBC experiences and life post-X.

Tracy-X: LOL about thinking I woke up early. You already know me so well! :7 Call Fit Mom: Wendy-X. I'm just plain ole Wendy for now. By the time I get my X, Wendy-X might be Wendy-XX. :) No, I didn't make myself clear. I meant you should become a physical therapist. You don't need physical therapy. You know your body so well already!!! Thanks for the weak side tip. It makes sense. I should be able to implement your suggestion since I only use dumbbells. Our barbell is too heavy for me to add any weights at this time. ;-)

Sandra-X: I'm here contributing to anyone's reading pleasure or displeasure. ;-) But, it sounds like you already have enough reading material from last night's purchases!!! Before we go there, I'm disappointed that you didn't comment or notice my lack of apostrophes in your post last night. A little birdie told me you have an aversion to the misuse of ('). ;-)

About the RT reservations. Well, you know there was only 105 spots and it sold out in 3 1/2 minutes, and some people wanted more than one reservation. What everyone did was purchase one spot at a time. There were some people who didn't make it back in time to purchase another spot. :-( Then, here I am wanting to make CERTAIN that I not go alone. On the RT reservation page, there was only a box to check if you wanted to purchase a reservation. There wasn't an option to purchase a certain number of reservations. Once you clicked to buy, you were automatically taken to the checkout page. It was there that I saw I could change the number of reservations to puchase. So, I changed it to include Jennifer (fitness mom). She had already given me $100 the day before to buy her a spot. Anyhow, in my confirmation email, it said that if you had invoice number 105 or below, you were guarenteed a spot on the RT. Well, SNM counted each invoice as 1 spot and I had 2 spots. For awhile, we didn't know if invoice number 105 was really 105 or 106 or 140 (depending on how many others did what I did). I felt so bad because there were a lot of people who didn't make it in time and were upset they didn't get a spot. Cathe and crew didn't realize anyone would do what I did when they sent out the automated email confirmations. They stuck to their word and said invoice 105 was still valid. I guess I was the only one who purchased more than one spot on one invoice. Clear as mud? Regret that you asked now? :7

Taking a quick break to eat my lunch.
