Xers - ***FRIDAY***

Ate while editing. Not to correct spelling or grammar, but to include words I thought I typed. It's funny how one little word can change the meaning of a sentence. My mind works faster than my fingers.

Wendy-X: YES! Come to the Dark Side!!! }( :D

Teddygirl: I'm Wendy, Fitmom is Wendy-X. Should be fine for the next couple of months. After that, we'll be one in the X. (evily laughs) I know, I know. When I told people that I was going to cut my twins' hair, they were all in an uproar. Some were comforted by the fact that we were donating their hair to Locks of Love. BTW, I saw your Divorce Court comment in OD. Cracked me up! We all have our junk tv. Mine is Bravo's reality contests (Project Runway, Project Top Design, Blow Out, Work Out and Shear Design). I know it's a cry for HELP! Seeing your house is clean, can you come over and clean mine too? I'll watch Divorce Court with you when you finish at 4:30 in the morning. ;-)

Sandra-X: Did you notice my coffee cup in one of the background pictures? That cup of java made us 7 minutes late! Normally, I would consider that very selfish of me. However, their scheduling isn't great. We still had to wait 10 minutes after we arrived before the hairdresser was finished with the previous scheduled client.

Jeanette: I will have to buy some evening primrose now! In the past couple of years, my breasts get really sore and bloated during TTOM. At first, I thought I was pregnant. Then I realized my hormones were working overtime due to my age. I really think the X is working for me though. It's TTOM and I'm not as nearly bloated as I usually am. I even noticed little, white, vertical stretch marks on my upper quads. Hopefully this means something must be shrinking fast!

 Calling ALL Subbing X'ers.
Just a friendly reminder. After posting your day's sub, please post a simple easier or harder than X workout. Thank you very much. Now, get down and give me 20! Oops, sorry. That's Sandra's job. ;-)

Laurie-X: L&B, ARX AND a 3 mile run!!! I salute you! I don't think I could ever do doubles. BTW, I'm working on the evidence. Tied up right now with personals and life. I'll have to tell dh about the Priate Life game. He'll enjoy taking a break from playing Pretty Pretty Princess with the girls. He actually wears the pink plastic tiara! I LOVE that man!!!

Amy: Have a blast with Plyo! ;-) It's fun, really it is!

Swift Amy: Glad you checked in. Feel free to post your pictures for ALL to see. If you need my day one picture password, just send me a PM. Discipling children is so tough! Keep up the good work. Jeanette assures me our efforts will be appreciated one day. Keep the faith!

Katie: We must be twins because that was how I felt about Tony too. He grows on ya like fungus. Ha-Ha In a good way!

Debra-X: Glad to hear you're up and about! Have fun at the antique show. Remember if you buy it, you ship it!

Well, I'm off to try and get some things done around the house.

Have a great day!
Wendy

Wendy: Aw.....clarification, now my brain isnt scrambled anymore  We haven't earned our X yet, huh, soon ;-)

That was very nice of you to donate there lovely hair to Locks of Love. I'm willing to bet you, by the end of the summer there hair will be back long and you'll be cutting it again, I know there hair grows fast, so nice to be that age:) :)

Afternoon is (((DRAGGING))) can you feel my pain, only 3 of us in the office today, I only took a 30 minute lunch, so I can lock up at 4:30, can't waitx(

Teddygirl~

Hi all,

I am off for the weekend and after I clean up the kitchen, I'm going out for my walk. It is the first nice day that we have had in what seems like weeks.

Teddygirl -Sorry the day is dragging by, I do feel your pain. I work in several different schools, so I try to plan to be in the one that lets out the earliest on Friday, that way I can be gone. Have a great weekend, see you on Monday.

Laurie - Yeap, I think that you have to be honest about the gut. Internal bodyfat is the hardest to get rid of. I did loose that with the X, but I'm worried because I'm slowly eating a little less strictly. I'm going to try to clean that up ASAP.

Katie - I never mastered plyo x, but it sure did good things for my legs.

Debra - I just hate that day after feeling of lactic acid. I really feel like it compromises the next day. A few minutes can make a huge difference.

Wendy X - I used to check a couple of other threads, but I can hardly keep up with this one. Glad you came over. Your pictures are nice. I was trying to add an avatar, but I couldn't figure it out. I'll have to try again. It can't be that hard. What are you doing post X?

Traci - I hope that you are resting up to be back soon.

Wendy - Thanks for the nice comment about being a physical therapist. I've always been interested in fitness, but if I ever went back to school, I'd either be a speech therapist, because I love working with kids with language delays or a geologist. I know, it's two completely differnt things, well, maybe in another life....

Sandra - How is today going? What plans have you made? Are you trying the zip and hollow. I definitely think that it makes ab work more effective.

Jeanette - I hope you have good riding weather. I'm contemplating going out this weekend, but may hold up until next week.

Tracy

Hi there ladies...Just popping by before I have to go pick up DD...

Teddygirl...Have a great weekend! We'll miss you....see you Monday.

Tracy...Have a wonderful walk...and enjoy your yoga...i understand how it gets to be a bit addicting because you feel so much looser and more centered after!

Wendy...Your girls are cuties! I think it's so great they are willing to donate their hair. My DD refuses to get hers cut. Hope you enjoy CS tonight...you made me want to break it out again so that I can have a closer look at Dreya's cellulite! I am selling some of my furniture, so I'm allowed to shop this weekend.

Jeanette...I am seriously considering buying a bike...and need any advice you can give...I am not looking for speed, just to cross train a bit. I don't want to spend a ton...at least until I know I will use it frequently. What are your thoughts?

WendyX...Your pictures are fantastic! Kudos to you! I am moving the first week of June to a much warmer climate and I am very excited about it. I ended up doing kind of a mix of B&G...and actually didn't get to the G part...so I will add it on tomorrow.

Gotta run and pick up the child! BBL...

I'm back...

Beautiful afternoon so I got my bike ride in. Good ride, I practiced on my aero bars for most of it, except for the hills. Really tried to keep my cadence up. My old bike computer took a dump so I bought a new one that also counts cadence (# of pedal strokes per minute). Think that will be a really nice training feature. I tend to be more of a masher than a spinner so will work on getting my cadence up.

Teddygirl, you are so right, I need to clean the bathrooms. Just don't feel like it tonite. A girl's got to have her time on the computer you know. Tomorrow's another day (yawn). So you are looking for a bike? What kind, mtn. or road? I have so many good memories of bike riding, even when I was a kid. We rode in packs. We'd be gone all over town, all day long back then. Parents never worried about us. Oh those were the days.

Amy, I'll have to check out the egg white link. Like Tracy, I can't even imagine what all those egg whites look like, like a half gallon of sn*t I think. Sorry, but that's the image I get.

Hi Swifty, glad you are getting all ready to start. Pictures are great. Measurements too. Hope you have great results.

Katie, I saw that infomercial once. Really liked it. It's very inspiring and I think hooks a lot of people.

Debra, hope you like Core Conditioning. I liked the part I did better the 2nd time. When she says 8 more, it doesn't really mean she'll stop after that 8. I think the work is good and different from what I was used to. I did like Muscle Max today. Butts & Guts is one of my favorite leg workouts. I really, really like that one. Sorry your DD has been a bit mouthy lately. Wait till she's a teenager. So you are looking for a bike, huh? Well, if you aren't looking for speed, I'd probably get a mountain bike. You can ride it on roads or trails. Lots of good brands, Trek, Gary Fisher, Giant, Fuji. You can probably get an entry level mtn. bike for I'm guessing $500 on up. I really wouldn't recommend a Walmart bike but go with a local bike shop that you want to deal with. It's worth it. Ask me any questions, I love to give my opinion re: pedals, clothes, helmets, etc. I love everything about bikes :).

Tracy, sorry your DH ruined your great yoga mood with his clothes folding. At least he folds them. Mine just throws the newly dried clothes all in a pile. Then does another load and throws the dried ones on top of that, rinse and repeat. Thinks he's helping. I posted above what I think a gallon of egg whites looks like. Hope the weather is good enough for you to get a bike ride in. We plan on a good, long tough hill climb ride this Sunday if the weather allows. I have an event in 2 weeks that will have mega climbing in it, about 70 miles long too. This weekend and next weekend have to have some of those long rides with hills to be comparable.

Wendy, I'm impressed that you guys can work out that late at night. We're usually vegging on the couch or in bed at that time. Must be all those kids that keep you young. I checked out the pictures and really was wowed by the artwork!!! Somebody really has talent!!! What a cute family. You guys are really something. You need a picture of Phil playing Pretty Princess. I was howling! I too love Pam the Blam!! Think she is my favorite! Yep, Dreya's legs are 50 times better than mine, but I do not moan while doing L&B. Hey, a girl's got to have her pride. Moaning, my gosh! Her moaning is nothing to hearing my DH while he does AbX. I swear, you'd think he was working out with a hernia. Yep, give the Evening Primrose a try. I take 2 capsules every day. I get them at Walmart. I notice even better results when I doubled them (from 1 a day to 2). It's TTOM for me and still no soreness.

WendyX, so glad you are here! I've always enjoyed reading your posts. It is tough to be in all these checkins. For a few days I was in 4 check ins! No could do! The Haters is a good one. Was in the Hardcores for a while. Right now I'm just in KK's checkin and this one. I'm not even doing the X currently, but am addicted and love these ladies. I understand about not training for the 1/2 marathon right now. For now, just enjoy what you do. I'm cycling and have some specific goals, but only ride 3 times a week. When do we get to see your 90 day pictures???? Can't wait! BTW, you did great on personals.

Better run, have Casino Royale to watch.

Jeanette

Traci, poor, poor Traci, hugs going out to you. Hope you are even now feeling better. Hope your DH is taking care of you too. Many good thoughts heading to Texas hoping our girl recovers in time for the concert.

Classic: Phase 1/ Week 1/ Day 5/ Round 1

Hey all,

Hope to Check-In with you guys once a week! DH says I spend too much time on the forum:( Need to keep him happy. I did legs and back today and thought it felt good. Ab RipperX is a killer though, it will be awhile before I can do all reps.

Traci, hope you feel better soon!
