Xer Monday- HAPPY BDAY TeddyGirl!

:+ :+ :+:+:+HAPPY BIRTHDAY LATRESE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:+:+:+:+:+
Hey, your not allowed to do laundry and cleaning on your birthday! Go shopping and have fun. Maybe you could go get yourself a special treat at Ruby Tuesday's:9

Traci-X, Glad to hear your shoulder is feeling better:) I wonder if you pinched a nerve? That can be painful and take away strength. Are you happy to be home? Enjoy training your client tonight with one arm:) You're going to have one buff arm and some killer legs:p

TracyX, Glad I have a partner in crime this week:) I felt I was do for a yoga recovery week since it's been two months since my last:p

DebraX, Maybe you should have a yoga week with Tracy and I:D Oh boy, a meeting with the attorney;) Hope he shows this time. Sounds like you had a great time at the game. My Chargers did about as well as the Panthers:( I have to clean as well and I'm dreading it.

LaurieXX, Have fun finding the MIA chemicals:) I am so glad you are enjoying Cameron! How are her ears doing?

Carol, ^5, way to go!! I am so glad you joined the world of morning exercise today:D Isn't it nice to have it done so early?

JeanetteX, Sounds like you had a great bike ride yesterday! Forty-five miles is about 44-1/2 further than I think I could get:p Has the weather been beautiful for it? It's going to be a gorgeous 75 degrees here today:D My DH enjoyed the pictures you sent as well. He loves the mountains just like me:)

SandraX, More Eoin? Yeah! I really enjoy his workouts. He is very laid back and I like that a lot. Oh, I hope your hip doesn't give you too much trouble:( I hate it when things like that happen. Maybe tomorrow you'll be good as new:) Hey, it's finally cool enough here to bake some bread:9:9 I'll let you know how it turns out.

WendyX, Sounds like you are going to have a great adventure:) A whole month! I wish I could get away for that long. Maybe when the noys are older Aron and I will escape to a tropical island:D What a fun experience for you and DD. Your food yeterday sounded yummy:9 My sister made us Thai curry chicken for dinner last night. It was very yummy! I am wanting to get my hands on some Panang curry now:9 I agree with you about yoga focusing on what you want it to not what someone else tells you to. I love my yoga and can't imagine not doing it. Of course, I'm sure you can tell that from my exclusively yoga week:p

Swifty, Your eating sounds fabulous! Did you ever get the the gyn about missed TTOM? I hope it's working itself out. I wonder if your bf is so low that it's messing with your cycle.

Off to clean up the garage and do laundry minus the flooding:p

Nicole, sorry to hear about the basement flood. Darn rags can end up anywhere.;-) I'm off to the clothes line now. I too hang laundry to save on propane fuel. It's soooo expensive to heat a home in the wilds of W PA. ^5 to another clothespin kinda day! How is DH getting over the wet gear?

TG-it is a lovely day here too. Nice job on the walk. Never tried your fav combo, do you heat it up in the toaster oven?

Hey- ttom just got here. It's the end of a 52 day cycle for me. I needed it. Enough of the never ending madness. Makes reason why i didn't feel like getting out of bed this AM.

Soup's done. Watermelon is cut and in the frig for munching, sure will miss these fresh melons. It's getting cold and the leaves are crisping. Fall is near. The farmer says we should have corn through October this year. Yeah! Have an acorn squash on tap for tomorrow's side dish.:9

Later :* Mwah!

Yipee I'm Back!!!!!

I just spent about 4 hours talking about chemicals. x( This is something that our corporate has decided needs to be done for EHS. All I know is that they are getting way to detailed in how we use these things. :7 It got to the point that our maintenance guy and myself where laughing, because we where getting tired. :) Just polished off an apple and some natural PB. :) Feeling much better.

Nicole, DH is taking care of Cami's ears, only because she is so stong. Glad he got the muzzle for her, and he always does this when the girls and I are not around. But he said that they are clearing up really good. So sorry to hear about the flood. I have done the same thing, but our stationary tub is in our house. Think what a mess that is. :7

Sandra, You are right I am wanting those new P90X workouts. I was all over the clips Wendy posted. :D

Teddygirl, I like the jeans at Old Navy. Sounds like you are having a great b'day and day off.

Jeanette, My boss has decided that this would be a good project for me. Some of the chemicals I know what the guys use them for, but others I have no clue. :D Oh well this wouldn't be the first time he sent me into a meeting, and I'm somewhat clueless as to what to expect. Tomorrow I get to work with the guys in the powerhouse. And then on Wednesday I get to go down to the kitchen. x( Wonder what we find down there.

Traci, I think my boss new I was a bit upset with him this morning. At first the amount of work they wanted me to do seemed daunting. It still is daunting, because we haven't even started to look for anything that isn't on the list. :7 :7 :7 They thought we would be done in one day!!! :7

Talk at ya later!

Laurie

Hi all,

No time to comment on everyone's posts. Yoga this morning was good, and I needed to stretch.

Sandra - Thanks for the information on the breathing. Is there a presale on the new Eion stuff?

Nicole - We have the same laundry set up in our basement. I hope you didn't have any carpet. I believe it will be a recovery week for me. I am worn out. I'm glad to have someone else along for the ride.

Swifty - Hope you feel better. The long ttom would absolutely make me a basket case.

Laurie - Sounds like you have something to keep you busy at work.

Traci - Recouperate, recouperate, rest, rest, no matter how good you feel..........

Debra - Sleeping in your workout clothes?

TG- Maybe you should do two differnt leg workouts instead of doubling MIS every time. Do you have it on dvd with PH? That is a good one too.

Jeanette - I looked at your picture trail again. The outings with the Rhino would be something my entire family would love. Maybe not the dust though:)That's a great time on your bike ride. You go girl!

Class has begun again. Ughhh...........

Sorry if I missed anyone.

Tracy

Hi lovely ladies! Sounds like everyone is doing well today...except for possibly Laurie who is being consumed by chemicals and Tracy who is at yet another class! I ended up doing B. Kest's Tone segment which was a nice change of pace from Eion since he does a few different poses. Attorney visit went as well as can be expected except I found out there is a cap on the amount of child support I can receive which pretty much s*^$s since XDH makes more than the cap....GRRR! I can ask for more, but the state doesn't require it. The good news is that I won't have to wait a year and a half for things to be finalized just a year...which I guess is good. It was a bit nerve wracking to be there today, though. I felt like every thing was so final. And although I am sure this is what I want, it was just sad.

Lea...Waving as you fly by! Hope you are feeling better today.

Wendy...Good luck getting everything finalized with your trip. Traveling abroad is always a pain..although, of course, well worth it. I am so excited for you!

Swifty....Good gracious! A 52 day cycle??? I would have gone completely mad! Well, at least now you know you will feel better in a couple of days. And I am very proud of your healthy eating...and of course it is great that your DD is embracing the healthy lifestyle. I always know my DD eats way healthier than me!

Tracy...Yes, sleeping in my workout clothes....is there anything worse? Glad you enjoyed your yoga session this morning.

Laurie...Hope your apple and PB weren't tainted by all the chemicals!

Nicole..Sorry about your laundry fiasco! Sounds like a nightmare to me. Hope things went better in that department tonight. I am also doing laundry...hopefully with no flooding! The attorney was on time today and I did like her, so I guess we will be moving forward in the next month or so. Hope your boys are enjoying their school year so far. I have a couple of weeks before I can do a recovery week....but a week of nothing but yoga and maybe a couple of bike rides sounds great!

Okay...think that catches me up this visit....I have a friend coming over later for dinner, so I will see you ladies in the morning...I have a few things to do in the am, so I may not have a check in unitl the afternoon...

big wet sloppy kisses to all!

Debra

Good Evening Ladies,

Finally made it back for personals. Didn't have time to workout today. I wanted to do LIC. It'll have to wait till tomorrow afternoon after applying for the passports and homeschool.

Traci-X: I'm happy to hear your shoulder is starting to feel better, and even happier to hear that you'll be babying it a little longer. Now, about the balance thingy. I remember you were having some problems with your RC during the last round of the X. I'm wondering if the reason I didn't get a lot of imbalances was due to not lifting as heavy as I could 6-8 reps. Something for me to think about when I start Round 2. L&G ANKLE WEIGHTS ^^5^^ I bow down to you!!! LOLOLOLOL

Tracy-X: I have to agree with Traci. Your just yoga matrix probably puts my power yoga class to shame! I really think you would enjoy a live class regardless of all the added stuff. My form has greatly improved from it. It's still not great, but improved. I can't even begin to describe all the form pointers I've learned. But, you're probably better at form than me since you use Shiva. A lot of the Iyengar pointers helped me to understand her better. For one, I never understood anything she said! And, well, after a class, I kinda do. LOL

Amy: Hope you caught up on your beauty rest. Did you ever receive your order from Paiva?

Debra-X: Even though your team lost, I'm sure you had a good time showing off your hot self!!!}( Phil was going to go to the Eagles game tonight with our neighbor, but cancelled at the last minute. He needed to get a notarized consent form for eldest dd's passport. He wouldn't take off work tomorrow morning for the passport application process. How much do I love him for not making me reschedule. I've thought about you a ton since going through all this paper work process. I wished you lived close by so you could walk me through everything. I just gotta put on my big girl panties and deal with it. I haven't been out of the country since I was born out of the country! LOL Have you evicted the dust bunnies yet? Mine have gained citizenship!:7 Seeing the divorce lawyer must have been difficult. It's a big step towards ending your marriage. It's gotta be tough! HUGS!!!!!! Just a thought, but could you move to CA and then file for divorce? Don't ex's get half of everything a huge amount of child support? I'm so bad!LOL

Laurie-XX: I have no idea what you are talking about. Chemicals? You have to find 300 and 42 of them in 3 days! Sounds like a workout to me!!!:+ How wonderful you have a good dog! Take advantage of the warm weather. A 2 mile walk is no rest day.:) Oh My! I just read your second post. LOL on not finding anything on the list! LOLOLOL I'm sure they're not laughing.

Teddygirl: I'm impressed. Working out on your b-day! WTG!

Carol: Girl, you rock!!! I can't believe you did it!!! I mean, I can. You'll be working out before the sun rises soon!!! How about a little granola bar and cup of java before you workout? Come here and chat with Traci, Tracy and Amy while it digests before you IMAX yourself out!;-) Why do ya'll live so far away from the city if he has to commute? I guess living anywhere within an hour's drive during rush hour isn't a tempting move. I tell ya. If I didn't have kids, I'd live right in Center City and take public transportation everywhere. You're a better planner than me. Lately, I've been shooting for one day goals.:7 I don't think we'll be able to join ya'll for the FI trip this Friday. I feel like I've been running around like a chicken with its head cut off lately. I've gotta meeting that night. And, I'd rather renew our membership after our trip. Have fun and take plenty of pictures!!!

Jeanette-X: Sorry I haven't emailed you yet. I just wanted to tell you how beautiful your woodstove project turned out! Is that an Native Indian design? It looks so naturally pretty! I loved the pictures of the woods. Your dh is photogenic!:) I still picture him as a New England Captain!:7 Don't you hear my lawn calling, screaming, begging? Surely, you do. It will not be ignored!:7 Thai food is generally spicy hot. My mom likes to make it so hot, my nose sweats just smelling it! It's a bummer when dh has to work long hours. I talked him into working an 8 hour day and going to the Eagles game. Then he called and said he wanted to come home and spend time with the family instead. Then I talked him into going. So, he was all set to go and then I asked him if he could come home to sign some papers. It's been an emotional day for him!!! LOL You know, I'd have to look at the biker's web site again. I thought 19 mph was fast for an average too!!! Those fast girls would leave me and my wheels in the dust! Hey, 17 mph is still too fast for me! I think there was one group that had a 15 mph average for their group rides.

Sandra-X: Yippee!!! Thanks for the Happiness Part 2 news!:) :) :) Ohhh! Take care of your hips!!! How big were your babies?:7 Do you think being pregnant had anything to do with it?;) We're flying into Bangkok too. Some of our family will be picking us up at the airport. From there, we'll drive to Khorat. We'll stay there before heading south to visit my grandfather. Next, we'll head to the Eastern beaches before going to Phuket (the airplane crash site). We're taking a boat and then bus. My mom's gf owns a house on Phuket. We'll be staying with her for a week before heading to the Northern mountains, probably by airplane. Then we'll make our way back to Bangkok to meet my sister and try to do it all over again. sigh I'd be more worried about the earthquakes than another airplane crash. Hope her fears are unfounded and they have a fun, relaxing trip! Phil has informed me that I'm not allowed to buy new P90X workouts. Ha-Ha as if that would stop me. What's stopping me is my X-treme laziness!!!!:p}:)7

Nicole-X: That's the pits! Your poor dh! Did he kick himself for not having a better washing machine set-up? LOL Repeat after me while batting your eyes: It's never my fault.}( Well, the initial game plan was to go for one month without any kids. It's now booked for 2 months taking the most dramatic one of the bunch!!! Woe is me!;-) Phil wants to know when it's his turn. I'm so blessed that he is happy for me. He's known how much I've wanted to go ever since we first met. He's so funny. He says, "I can't even get you to go camping! Do you realize that you're going to camp in the jungle for 2 months with the Crazy Asian and your thyroid imbalanced sister? And, you're excited about it?" LOLOLOL

Swifty Amy-X: Glad you enjoyed my small tokens of thanks. I was traveling when I mailed it. Which is the reason why you'll be getting another package shortly. I forgot to bring a couple of small items I had to put in the box. Yes, please do check into it. I have no idea about that kind of stuff. I got it at the Iyengar yoga studio. The lady said it worked wonders on all sorts of stuff. Some of the symptoms she listed were ones you had mentioned. So, try it at your own risk. LOLOLOLOL I hope I don't poison you!!!!!!! Sorry, I should have mentioned that in my note. OMW! That is soooo funny! Your dh and I would get along great! I preview workouts in bed ALL THE TIME. Not that I want to watch preview workouts in bed with him! LOL If you look on the OD, someone posted a link to another P90X workout. It's one where Mark Briggs (?) is scoring/editing some of the workouts. Pretty cool! MMMMMMMM You weren't kidding about cleaning up your eating. Dinner sounds FAB!!!! Will you adopt me?LOL I've been preparing dd about Thai cuisine. I think she's a bit scared, but willing to try. Hey, she has no choice but to starve!!!! YIPPPEEEE YAAYY!!! Phil can't wait for my toxins to flow. I've been a hormonal mess today dealing with my sister!!!! I can not imagine being a free citizen (not in jail for murder) if I had a 52 day cycle. ^^5^^ to you for having extreme self control!!!!!

Okay ladies, it's a late night! Going to snuggle in bed and read a Thailand travel guide I picked up at the bookstore. I think I'll have eldest dd study Thailand's history and culture instead of world history, the middle ages. It seems more fitting. We'll get around to the Knights of the Round Table and Robyn Hood later.:7

Sweet Dreams to ALL!
Wendy

I forgot to post my workout which was Magically Hips:) I think I may do some Bryan Kest tomorrow.

WendyX, How will Phil cope with you gone for two months? What a great guy:) Distabce does make the heart grow fonder:)

DebraX, Glad your lawyer showed up on time:) One year seems so long to go through this process. I think here if you don't have disagreements you can get it done in six months. Hey, just a weird thought that went through my mind, Your XDH doesn't know you post here does he? I can just imagine him using stuff against you later:( Wish you were having a yoga week with Tracy and I:)

TracyX, Glad we're in this together:D

Anointed, How was Ruby Tuesday's?

See you all tomorrow,

Nicole

Hi all,
You guys are so chatty today, think I'd better post personals tonite as no way will I be able to get them all in tomorrow morning.

Re: my pics of the tile/woodstove project DH and I just finished, I was not able to post them to my Picture Trail, but will happily email them to anyone that is interested. My email is [email protected], so just write me and I'll be glad to send a few pics.

Debra, what kind of food did you fix while tailgating? Sounds like you had a super busy day. (((hugs))) to you re: the attorney visit and all those details. It's got to be tough on everyone involved. Hope your dinner with friend was good tonite. What did you cook? Or did you go out?

Sandra, NOOOOOO, you are not the only one not interested in P90X plus. I really think that P90X got me the best results ever, but it's not doable for me. It has a dread factor for sure. With Cathe workouts, no dread (usually). I'm just not willing to put it all out there to get those muscles. Not to say that I won't do another P90X rotation, but I sure have to psyche myself up for it. Please take care of your hip. My, sure seems like a lot of injuries lately. My shin is still sore. It just feels like I really banged it hard with something, though I know I didn't. It swells pretty good every day, just sitting at my desk most of the day too. My DH had something like that last year and his lower leg really would swell up terribly. It finally just went away but took a long time. He could never figure what he did to it either. Thanks for the info on the new Eoin DVD. Should be a good one!

Nicole, so sorry about the mess from the laundry. Hey, mistakes happen. Not like you left a hot pan of oil heating on the stove or anything. That's one thing I worry about that I will do when I get older. I just have to be diligent. Best thing is for me to stay away from the stove :7. Glad you liked the pics. It's supposed to cool way down in the next couple of days. We are going camping this weekend, but will have the trailer and a nice forced air heater as the trailer is not well insulated. Wish we could have a campfire too, but those are out now with the fire season still in effect.

Anointed, hope you are having a really nice birthday and nice that you could take off from work. I was thinking that sounded like a good idea for my birthday in November. Trouble is, my birthday is on Thanksgiving this year. Maybe I'll take the day before, hmmmmm.

Wendy, I am so envious of your trip!!! It's going to be fantastic! We will want pictures of course. Sounds like a nice little threesome. What an experience for your DD. Sorry your sis can't go, but maybe another time? No native american design on the stove. Just something I worked up with some graph paper. A 15 mph average group ride would be much better. Or at least find a group with a "no drop" policy. If you really like a group road ride, you might also put tires on that are more slick (less knobby) as they have less resistance on the road surface. One of these days, I'm going to try the Thai food. I hear we have a place in a nearby village that is pretty good. Ooooh, snuggling with the Thailand travel guide sounds absolutely wonderful!!! A big part of the fun of a trip is in the planning for sure.

Swifty, thanks re: the pics. Email me (see above) if you'd like to see the tile pics. It is dry here. I just lotion up good each morning and I'm fine. Your meals sound fantastic. I have like zero creativity to make anything good. I keep eating the same old, same old. When you said banana rolls, I thought, "now she's talking good food". Silly me. I've had such a sweet tooth lately. Glad TTOM finally arrived for you. I don't wish that on anyone, but guess we have to endure it. The neighbor kid said he would bring me some acorn squash. Can't wait!

Laurie, can't say I envy your project with the chemicals. Oh well, got to be done. Bosses always underestimate how long something will take. Enjoy the powerhouse. What does it produce and how is it fueled? Glad Cami's ear is getting better. No fun for them when they are cocking their head to the side and kind of squinting their eyes. You know something's not right then.

Tracy, the Rhino is fantastic, we love it so much. We bought this half windshield to help keep us warmer on the winter rides, but quickly found out that yes, it will keep you warmer, BUT if you have any kind of dusty conditions, it will actually pull the dust into the cab of the Rhino. Creates a vacuum. After one particularly dusty ride this spring, off it came. It's only good for hard road conditions. I'll just bundle up more in the winter if we go out then.

Glad I'm caught up now.

See you all in the a.m.,

Jeanette
