Good Morning:)

I am soooooooooooo sleepy! I really need to go to bed early tonight. I don't even think coffee will do the trick today. We had people here all day yesterday so I didn't get to bed until 1:00 and DS woke at 6:43. Friends of ours are here with their little baby so I gave them our room. All the guys were out around the fire and I crawled in bed with DD, thinking DH would be smart enough to find a bed elsewhere;) but he didn't! Ugh...I woke up shortly after 3, stuck between two people in a double sized bed...not enough room for 3 people. I was poisioned! Finally I sat on the edge of the bed saying i was going downstairs and then DH offers to go...ya think ya might have done that 2 hours ago??? Did he have that much to drink that he couldn't see DD on the inside of the bed....Im willing to bet thats what he will say when he wakes. I think I even remember getting an elbow in the side of the head at one point in time!

And I ate waaaay to much yesterday but it was kind of my last day before I pull my socks so I won't be weighing for a little while:)

Im hoping to get the energy to run later. My sister and I are going to my moms house later but I still have time to workout.

Good morning All.

LOL… Gidge that is a funny story but it's always hard when you have people over your house. It’s like you can’t wait for them to get there then you can’t wait for them to leave. Just kiddin.

I ate really good all day yesterday until my DD offered me some pretzels around 9 p.m. So I broke two of my own rules, no eating after 7 and no carbs in the evening. Oh well today is a new day.

No w/o today b/c it is my rest day. I’m reorganizing my Cathe calendar by using some of my upper body premixes at least once a week. Then doing a total body strength training on another day.

Working my upper body 2 times per week is ok or should I go for 3 times per week? I get DOMS everytime I work my upper body.

My marshmallow buds came yesterday and they sound Great! Can't wait to use them!

I woke up w/dh at 6:15 and decided to go back to bed...yeah right! All I did was lay there and think about today and what I was going to do!!!!x( x( Oh well,Im up now....thinking about doing bm2(just the cardio) but this time doing it on just the platform! Lets see how far I can go this time;-)!

Lori-Sorry to hear of your restless night!! I think men are so use to us telling them what to do,there practicly lost when its up to them to "think",my FIL is totally lost without my MIL.There so funny together.We were at the wedding and he couldn't find the bathroom(which was in plain view) and she had to take him to it,everybody had a good laugh!

Robin-Yes,today is another day(lol) because I also had some late night eating going on x(! I couldn't get full yesterday evening! Enjoy your rest day! I've thought about getting a cathe calender,do they really help with organizing workouts? Currently I use a food diary and just write down my workouts everyday on there!

Hey to the rest of the gang!:)

I did LIS yesterday and boy is my arms/shoulders soar,don't know why its not like I used weights or anything!But I haven't did a step in about twelve days! My legs are also soar from the walk/jog I've been doing,feels good!It was also nice to "see" cathe.

Gidge, maybe you could get a power nap in later if you're really sleepy. I HATE it when one of my DS's comes in our bed. Have a nice time at your DM's.

Today IS another day Robin. I saw what you ate yesterday and think you did pretty darn good. And pretzels are ok. I know you feel like kicking yourself tho when you eat past your designated time. If you're really feeling your arms with 2 wo's I'd say that's good then. Maybe alternate every other week doing 3.

Hi Amelia- I got up at 6:15 too and wanted to go back to bed after DH went to work but didn't. I don't use a step at all anymore. I feel like a slacker, but a PT told me not to step, just do the workouts. I have to give myself 3 good weeks of workouts and eating clean.

Well I walked for 30 min. and am now trying to decide if I want to do a circuit or total body weights. I've been sticking with the cardio/walking, but feel like getting some DOMS. I don't know why, I just feel like it. So I'm thinking PH. That's a fun one. Then I'm going to study a bit and clean the bathroom before my Mom and nephews come down to swim later. It's going to be "hell day" here they said on the weather last night. OY!

Hey Girls

I Finished the combos in bm2! That third combo was kinda tricky at first then it became very fun! (I had to rewind and do it agian)I did only do them on a platform, but I got a good sweat!It felt good to finally complete the combos...next challenge is the power circuits!

Hey Kali-Did you decide on the circuit or TBW? I love PH,my favorite of the total body workouts!I really need to clean up my eating !I've been eating alot of proccessed food latey,and I've been skimping on veggies! It feels like hell day here in GA,its around 99 degrees:+ ! Have fun swimming,that should be a nice cool off!

I was wondering if anybody has purchased Tosca Reno's Clean eating book,ifso is there some good recipes in their,Is the book good?
Im really looking into cleaning up my diet a bit!

Amelia I really need to buy BM2, it looks so fun. I love Cathe calendar it is big with great pics. I plan one month in advance what w/o I'm going to do. The August calendar pic show Cathe and Lorraine lifting BB and "get your game face on" is the quote. It motivates me even though my kids think that I'm nuts :+ .
Thanks for the advice on the upper body w/o kali.Also Kali listen to your PT doctor...please.

Hey - Just a quick shout out because if I don't run up and workout right now it's just not gonna happen.

I see everyone is doing fine. I wish my downfall were just a few pretzels....lol.

I have the clean eating book, Amelia and I love it. Now all I have to do is actually follow it. I do know some that did and they said they had great results!!! I think Traci from the Xers check in followed it really well. Pop over there and ask her. I haven't tried any of the recipes but I think she has. It seems like a really good plan with lots of food.

Hey Girls,

I can't believe I haven't checked in since the early morning:eek: Our company didn't leave until 9:30 and DS was already down for his nap. I had to wait until he woke to get a workout in and I decided to run. I did an hour long run and abs. I am at my parents house now and brought my stroller and KM workout. I should have bought the older VHS workouts I replaced.

Amelia, thats to funny about your FIL. My dad isn't that bad but I know he would be completely lost if anything happened to my mom. I never bought that book. Ive learned my lesson....I don't normally follow a plan:) Well...that is unless I have 20 lbs to lose but the other times when I bought books...I only had the vain 5 lbs and I never stuck to anything. Oh yeah...I did follow BFL for a little while and I lost some weight but I was starving ALL the time!

Kali, did you enjoy your company today? What did you decide to do after? I love circuit workouts! Prehaps I should make up a rotation with mostly circuits...wonder what kind of benefits I would gain?

Robin, good job on the workout and no nap for moi! I didn't run unril 11:45, then had to get a shower, feed baby and pack bags. By the time we got on the road it was 3:30. Oh well...we are here now!

Where is everyone else? No chatter boxes around???

It doesn't look like my sister is pregnant. She seems to be o.k but I know deep down she isn't. My God...all she wants is a baby! Is that so hard! Times like this I wonder about God....why does he give babies to those who don't want them and throw them in dumpsters? And then there are others who would pay thousands of dollars to get them...and still can't. I don't think adoption is in the plan and I don't know what her next steps are. Im not sure if she could handle going through this again.

Anyway, hope everyone as a good night and I will be here in the morning!

Hi, everyone! Hectic day - did a 60 min run this morning, but that was all. Tomorrow I will be in KANSAS all day - early morning until late tomorrow p.m.

That's the life of PR - sometimes it happens.
