My workouts yesterday were Butts & Guts hadn't done that one in a while, & HIIT 15 on the rebounder. Haven't decided what I'll do today when I get home.

I was last to post on the old thread last night. Copying it here incase no one checks that thread....

Good Evening.

My work out today ended up being done in 2 parts-morning and then late afternoon. Did most of one of the work outs from Kettlebell BootCamp in the morning but got interrupted so I went to finish later on and ended up adding on the 2nd work out on the disc too. They are 20 mins each so it wasn't some crazy over done routine that way. Hadn't done these in ages and I am now wondering why not. They are awesome!:D

Barb:: Shake it off and start fresh tmrw like you said! You'll be fine. We've all been there.

So today is my rest day. I got to stay in bed til almost 5:30. Woo hoo! :p

Wiggie::: OOOOhhhhhh good luck with Butts and Guts! You'll be feelin' that one for days!!!!;):D

Wendy, enjoy your rest day, I don't usually take a rest day unless something comes up, but I'm going to change that. For 2 days I didn't work out very hard because I wasn't feeling that well, and the next time I lifted weights I had to increase the amount. I guess that proves how important rest is. As for Butts & Guts I was feeling it while I was doing it!!

Wiggie: way to go on the butts and gutts

I am on week meso2 week1 and i have done the chest disk as well as legs and an extra plyo legs tacked on...i am a walking DOM...I love it! i haven't felt this sore in awhile and i must be a little maso but it feels great:confused:

I have rediscovered how much i love walking and have been going for a walk as my sort of cardio these past few days and my body is happy (my mind too as it helps clear my head). Winter is just around the corner here in Montreal and i figure i had better take advantage of it while i can..the intense dvds can wait a little until the snow starts falling in December..

Today i have back and bi-ceps to do. I am going to have to squeeze it into my lunch break because things have gotten pretty hectic at home after work with the kids back at school. Between my meet the teacher and my 3 kids (who all go to different schools) meet the teachers i am ready to cry mercy!

Food wise i have been pretty good but since i am pmsing i have held off on weighing myself (i am the type who will get discouraged even though my head is telling me its temporary and just eat more):eek:

I'll bbl after the workout is completed if i make it..

I did The Bombshell Butt body rock work out this morning. Killer work out in only 15-20 mins. I love this woman!!!!!:D

Wiggie:: I've tried not taking scheduled rest days but it doesn't work for me. I get run down and end up getting sick. :(

Steph:: A teacher's life sure is hectic! IDK how you do it!!!

Wendy, that bombshell butt workout sounds like something I should do since I'm pear shaped, my thighs being my main problem. Have you noticed any changes in that area since you started doing bodyrock?

Steph, I agree with Wendy, don't know how you do it!!

My workout yesterday was Doulble Wave Pyramid, half done on the rebounder.

Hello everyone. The past couple of days I've been feeling really tired. My doctor changed my anxiety medication because the one that I was on has a label warning. Hopefully this will past.

Todays workout was turbo fire 55 ez class.
 
Hello Ladies!!

No workout for me today, went in to work at 630am & got off at 730pm. My weigh in is tomorrow, my last will be next week. I'm not going to sign up again, I will follow the plan on my own & see how that goes.

Yesterday was sts back and bi-ceps and i added on core max ball for my abs(thinking of you Wendy)

Wiggie: Good luck tonigh on the weigh in...Lets hope the scale is on your side;)

Don'y know what i have planned today...I should be doing my sts chest work..i'll see if i have any time:( did i mention how much I HATE HOMEWORK!
 
Hello Ladies.

Wanted to give TOTAL BODY from S90 a whirl this morning since I've never done that one before and I'm shootin' from the hip these days but I woke up with DOMS. Lots of back to back resistance training lately. Felt I needed a break so I went for cardio and abs today. HiiT 30/30 + my own ab work. Will probably go for S90 TB tmrw I'm thinkin'. I hear it's a toughie!:eek::)

Wiggie:: Well it's hard to say exactly what is creating the change in me because I have lost 10+ pounds since April but most of it since finishing STS so I guess BR has to have something to do with it!;) I have definitely leaned out. Ab definition is getting better and better! Pants I used to wear now fall off me. Had to downsize and they are STILL a little loose. I think I'm in between sizes right now-You know how that will happen? I also don't feel like I am losing any of the STS gains I made. Maybe a little strength depending on the exercise but my body shape is only getting better and I am getting better at push ups every day since doing BR! :D So how did you weigh in go??

Barb:: Good luck with the new med! Hopefully your energy will return! I have been feeling pretty exhausted myself...no matter how much sleep I get. It stems from mental/emotional stress that I am going through at the moment in my personal life. It's exhausting but I'll get through it! TG for my work outs!!!!:eek:

Steph:: The time suck is one thing about STS that I don't miss and what I LOVE about what I am doing now!!!! Hope you can find the time to squeeze the chest work in!

Well I can't believe that I am down .6lbs this week. I was surprise because I ate like crap and didn't do to much exercise last week. I am thinking that my other medication makes you gain weight and the new one doesn't. I hope so. Well have a great night everyone.

Wendy you inspired me to do S90 Total Body today, I really enjoyed it!! I am very impressed with all the gains you've made. I keep saying I'm going to try BR but it's hard for me to excercise without watching a dvd.

Barb, congrats on the weight loss, it's a nice surprise to lose when you weren't trying too hard!!

Steph, what did you decide to do?

My weigh in was this am & I lost 3 lbs, so I'm happy. I am definitely going to make sure I take a rest day from now on, I feel stronger & more energetic when I do.

Good Morning all!

Last night I had a major binge on carbs...well major for me...i ate a peanut butter cookie and 2 tortillas. Stress is super high these days. My kids hate homework and the two little have to literaly be threatened with writing notes to the teachers to get them to do any:( My younger daughter is in French immersion grade two and her teacher wants her to read 30 minutes of french every night on top of all her homework. Last night she had a 48 page book to read and do a mini report on...What doesn't help the situation is that all three kids want to do their homework with me. My husband is the french speaking parent (i work in french but it is not my mother toungue) but nobody wants to do their homework with him.. lucky me:mad: so i have tried to start a reward system but it tough.. my little bad az 7 year old daughter says she doen't care if she gets a stupid sticker..Thank God she likes manicures...if she gets a sheet full I will take her for a manicure..(totally funny...I am so not a girlie girl..I don't even wear make-up)

That is why I love going to work...With my students all I have to do is blow my whistle and everything calms down!;)

Enough complaining...sorry about that:eek:

Okay..back to business..
Sts is still going strong at 6x per week..I was literaly (sp??) crawling around..ok not really but, i felt like it..Monday since i decided to do meso 2 legs (i finally got my 20 pound weight vest) immediately followed by plyo legs(disk 26)...legs have never been so sore in my life! After my chest workout..later on during the day I followed up by 100 push-ups (no, not all at once 20..rest...20..rest etc)
Yesterday was my 2nd chest day....
For cardio I have been walking and LOVING IT!
At work I take the students to play tennis and the courts are 15 min walk away...yesterday we went 3 times so...90 min of walking at work...LOVE IT!

Today: My goal is to eat properly:eek: and try to do s90 tabata during my spare at work (i have a shower in my office in case you guys were wondering about me being stinky and sweaty all day after:eek:)

Barb and Wiggie: You guys totally Rock! way to go on the weight loss

Wendy: You must be totally cut now..before we saw one delt head...are we up to 2 or 3 yet? Did you notice when you are sweaty you see them better?
Next sign of fitness...Can you see the line of your quad? you know when you look sideways at your legs, is there the line right down the center of the upper thigh? #2, the hamstring demarkation?

Thanks for letting me vent..and vent...Promise to be more chipper later on today when i check in again;)

Today's work out was S90 Total Body (short but tough!) plus some jump rope for a bit of an extra calorie burn. :)

Steph:: Aaaah the joys of homework. I have one child, my son, in first grade and that's enough for me. I couldn't imagine having mutliple kids in school to fight that battle with. :confused: I can get lots of delt definition when I flex but when my arm is relaxed, not so much...not that I can see anyway. As for my quads, yeah I think I have that line that you describe as well as some ham definition too. I am noticing when I flex my quad that the tear drop is starting to take shape too! :D

Wiggie:: I felt the same way you did about exercising with out a dvd to follow but I just love BR so much that I am totally over that! :D In fact, it's making me want to try another program that I have that's been collecting dust b/c of my previous disdain for working out to anything other then a video. It's called After Burn. Ever hear of it??

Barb:: Great work out! I like the S90 work outs I've done so far but there are still quite a few I haven't tried. Congrats on the weight loss! Love seeing that scale go down! :)

Tabat is done!
I tried mini (3 minute) tabata like training with my students a la supreme 90...they were fried after the 3 minutes of 20 sec on-10 off...you should have seen their faces when i told them i did that for 37 minutes before class!:D priceless!

Wendy : how does BR compare to that Tabata workout????
 
Steph:: BR could go up against that work out any day-and it's an awesome work out, don't get me wrong!!!! Alot of the BR work outs really ARE tabata style training IMO! They kick butt! Nothing like being wiped out after only 12 mins of work!:D She refers to them as intervals which tabata is a form of.

Wendy, I've never heard of After Burn, tell me about it, who's the instructor? I noticed a post by Jody on another thread, can't remember which on.

Good morning everyone. Yesterday I took a rest day. Today's workout was just CLX Push Circuit 3. Still feeling tired but not as bad. Might go for a walk later. Have a great day everyone and a great weekend.
 
Good Morning.

No work out for me today b/c I overslept. :(

I have a little bit of DOMS everywhere today. Most of it is in my legs though.

Wiggie, Jody didn't seem happy with new WW program so maybe she decided not to do it anymore and therefor decided to leave the check in. Afterburn is by Alwyn Cosgrove. I tried to pull up a link on the web for you about it but wasn't having much luck. It's a written program. I don't remember how long it is but it incorporates weight training with HiiT work outs to burn body fat. Work outs are pretty short which is nice. Also gives a nutrtion plan but I cldn't follow it. I will stick with WW if I decide to give it a go again.

Steph, I was sadly mistaken...no quad definition (that line) down the side of my leg when I am standing up. Booh. :(

Barb, Good job with your work out today! Glad your energy is starting to increase a bit.
