Hello Wendy, Stacy and Steph,

Hope you all had a great weekend. I did. Hehe....

Great job ladies! ;)

I am off to the workout. I am going to try basic step.

Allee:: Don't forget to check points for what you are eating and track them!!! It's vital to your WW success! You can do it, girl! :D

Steph:: My goodness, I think you are as big of a masochist as I am! Nice killer work out! :D Yeah, don't mess with me! I can kick some serious butt! HAH! :p

Stacy:: Good job with the yoga. I used to be into it for a while and did it faithfully every week but not any more. I am atleast trying to get in a few good stretches every week (ala STS Ext stretch or Stretch Max) but even that is hard to fit in it seems.

Hello....planned rest day for me.

As far as yoga goes, I got into to doing it more out of necessity. I figured my extremely tight hamstrings and hip joints werent helping my chronic knee issues. Plus looking into my old age, I think flexibility is an important aspect to my overall health and fitness. I dont think I could do it more than 1-2 times a week and it's a struggle to fit it in, but dubbing Sunday as yoga day is helping.

Allee...good job with the workout!

Wendy...nice KB mix!

Steph...how did you walk to the computer to post??? (or did you crawl??) And for what it's worth I'd consider pylo legs as cardio!

heya girls
Stacy: actually it wasn't too bad :p
i really have to start the yoga thing

Feeling super fat today:(
scared for wednesday:eek:
I am having your last week stacy (i think)

Steph I think I'm still having a fat week...

Allee...I think anything by Rodney Yee is a good start. Rodney Yee's Yoga for Beginners is a 2 dvd set, the first dvd is about 40-45 minute instructional dvd, the other dvd has 2 short yoga routines, each about 20 minutes. The instructional dvd is great to have so you can learn the moves without having to strain your neck during the poses to watch your tv.

Good Morning.

STS M3 W3 D33 (SBT) done + 100 bicycle crunches (50 per side). :)

Stacy:: When I was into yoga I would take a weekly class at my gym at the time that was a yoga/pilates mix and I loved it. It didn't move too slow and was very challenging yet the moves were basic enough for a beginner to catch on to pretty quickly. I miss that class. I stopped going when I lost my membership due to gym error. That's what really caused my "yoga downfall". :(

Steph:: NO FEELING FAT ALLOWED!!!! Do some cardio!!!!! ;) That always helps me! :)

Allee:: Good luck with yoga if you decide to try it!

well
still feeling the f word..
did cardio
athletic step..my first time...fun but not what id call atheltic..i expected harder more athletic moves just my opinion...but i liked it:)

kickbox from 4ds fun..shorter than what i expected..i have to dso it with the HR monitor..

Wendy: do you find any particular Cathe kickbox ish like dvd better than the other..

Stacy: i actually still have a membership to a yoga studio for hot yoga with 6 classes left... maybe in september...

maybe later ill try the histep...we shall see..

oh
LAST DAY OF WORK UNTIL AUGUST 22!!!!! WOOOOHOOOOOOOOOO
not so great....kids are off with me;) lol

Steph:: Good job with the cardio! Don't you feel better now? :D As for Cathe's kickbox..hmmm...Well I am a fan of Shock Cardio MMA: Boxing and 4DS K/B for sure because I just flat out enjoy doing them! Cardio Kicks is a recent fave of mine because it's tougher then the average kickbox vid from a cardio output perspective and also gives me a run for my $ when using the weighted gloves. I can't get through it with the gloves on unless I use only a 1/2# in each glove as opposed to 1# in each glove. KPC is a classic and you can't go wrong with it. KM is my least fave but I do love the blast segment which is all kinds of moves that get your heart rate up-some kickbox included. Oh and CTX K/B is good too but that is not sold separately so unless you want ALL of CTX, it's not worth it. Did that answer your question? Sorry you asked? LOL I also love Kimberly Spreen's Absolute Kickbox DVD if you have any interest in other instructors and Kelly Coffey Meyer is good too. HTH! :)

Hi Wendy, Stacy and Steph,

Quick post. No workout to report today. I have been busy all morning. Off to more errands.

Great workouts ladies. Keep up the good work. ;)

Allee

Steph...I'm still in the "f-zone" too. I didnt eat healthy this morning either so that didnt help my mood much. But, I wanted to not feel like Jabba the Hut, so I put on my workout clothes and did The Viper!! I only skipped two segments (the static lunges and the blast section from one of the IMax2 cardio's), then I finished with an ab workout from STS Ab Circuits.

Tomorrow is weigh-in so I hope with that workout I can salvage the rest of my day somewhat. I'm so jealous of you being off all summer!

Wendy/Steph...I really like Tracey Staehle's Cardio Kickbox Challenge. It took me a time or two to get the moves and in some areas her form to me is a bit choppy but I really like it, even somewhat better than any of Cathe's kickbox workouts.

Allee...hi and thanks for the encouragement! How is the point tracking going?? And, have you checked out the Workout Manager here it has alot of neat fitness/tracking/health things to dabble with.

Ok, shower time..
