Morning ladies-
Well this "workout machine" took an unplanned rest day yesterday and finally had aunt flow visit last night and is pondering all the reasons why she can barely move this morning... AF aches & pains? 36 hour DOMS from Barrys Boot Camp legs & butt? The chinese indulgence last night?
Have determined that I MUST do cardio this morning and strength as I will not be doing strength at Bay this weekend. So as much as I dont feel like a lengthy workout I will do Rhythmic Step (1 riser)+ Barrys BC Shoulders, Back & yesterdays chest.

CHERYL: FABULOUS NEWS on the big meeting! You collect that BIG check and say Adios!!!! Hope your weekend is filled with laughter, family and running time! You so deserve a good one after this week! TeddyGirl: I hope you get to do StrikeZone this weekend! Throw on your weighted gloves and 1# ankle weights and see what kind of power punches & kicks you can do! I really LOVE the fact that its not "cardio" except for the power your own body provides. KJust like Kenpo! Its all about what you put into it!!! Hope Mr Bicep is was good to you last night!:7

good morning...hope everyone had a good evening. i was at the hospital until late and i was up and 5:30am. my mom is still in icu because her blood pressure is too low.they had to put another port in her neck(she has another one in her chest) which she was not happy about. just to let you all know...while i was typing my oldest just threw up all over the couch(God give me strength)today i am going to try and do strike zone but now i dont know. i will check in later
 
Good Morning:)

Ah.....it feels better to have had some sleep. Went to bed at 10:30 but mister man decided that he wasn't as sleepy upstairs as he was downstairsx( so he fought it for a while but fell asleep when we put him in the bed between us! At that point I really didn't care but its not something I want to make a habit of!

Im not sure what todays workout will be.I would like to do a circuit workout but I would also like to get a long cardio in b/c I missed yesterday.I keep thinking that I won't be able to workout tomorrow b/c I will have all these kids here but I should be able to do something in the afternoon.

Traci, DD told me that this would be her last b-day party if I let her have a sleepover so I am just gonna grin and bare it:7 Poor thing started her period yesterday and they are suppose to be getting into the hot tub at 5:30.I told her to sit at the edge and just put her feet in but she wanted to cancel the whole thing.She as to learn that everything doesn't stop b/c you started your period.

Tonight shouldn't be to bad though cause 2 of the kids are my neices so there are only 3 girls in her class comming. The spa only accomidates (sp?) 6 girls, which sounded great to me cause then we only have 6 sleeping over.

Tracie: you really know how to pick em:9 :9 this workout is da-bomb. My sister and I really enjoyed Strike Zone, she tickled me trying to attemp the move. Now she claims she going to workout with me Thurs and Sat, I pray she does she really needs to for health reasons she has lupus. Strike Zone, is a tough workout I'm really going to like the paddle even tho, I dont have one but it'll allow me to really execute the moves with good form :9 :9 I'm going to start my sister Daphane out real slow maybe using The Firm workouts. By the way I have 9 sister and 10 brothers:D Enjoy Rhythmic Step and BC NICE!

Last nigth, S&H bi’s added PUB upper only by that time I finished my arms was fatigued. I used 15 lbs dumbbells’ dropped down to 10’s twice. It was tough those 6 count moves in S&H ouch }( than 2 counts in PUB, man oh man}(

This morning, I did Butts & Guts leg blast + abs. Tonight, GS & S&H tri’s. This weekend I’m going to give L&G X a go, I may survive it. Need to get report out I’ll check back soon.

Hi, everyone! I'm feeling human again. TGIF. No school for kids in Utah today, it's Teachers' Comp Day so I slept in. Now planning an upper body workout - probably a premix from PushPull/Supersets - and maybe some add-on cardio.

Traci!!! TOM visited me yesterday too, with no morning. Luckily in the morning, so at least I didn't have to dash out of the big attorney meeting with a personal crisis x( ;( I'm so sorry you're feeling under the weather. Yes, RS on one riser is the perfect pick-me-up, followed by some good strength if you are up to it... if not, maybe just rest after that... that's my vote. I hope you feel better this afternoon.

Mary, oh my goodness, you are having a time of it right now. I am sending you hugs - I hope your child isn't down sick with the flu now too x( x( x(

Lori - sounds like you had very little sleep - but sounds like you're hanging in there. Good luck with your workout.

I think I going to take a rest day Sunday! My legs are sore for the last couple days! Maybe I feel better by Sunday?LOL!

Soooooo...jealous of you gals that get to meet Cathe in person! I wouldn't be able to go anyway just b/c I am a little tied down at the moment;) and even if I weren't Im sure it wouldn't be a cheap trip for me....living in another Country and all:)

I just finished my workout. I did the Gaulant and 1/2 way through i was thinking..."I don't think there are 7 rounds, there are only 6" which made the workout more enjoyable...sure enough, only 6.
After this first seg though my thighs seemed to be crapping up. Very weird. I never get like that and I also had a rest day yesterday and had almost 32 oz of water in me.Not to mention the milk that was in my cereal. Strange.

Anywho...its a nice day here today and I am going to try to take DS outside for a walk in his snuggly. Im sure I will sweat buckets cause I have to walk up over a hill AND have a child attached to me.

Cheryl- I would be honored to be your roomie there!!! I am glad that the business meeting went well and the "accounting error" was "discovered":eek: (RRRRRIIIIIIGGGGGHHHHHHTTTTTTT!!!!!!);-)

Full of different DOMS from Kick and Punch yesterday. I think that it would be a lovely day for some yoga....don't you??? (Don't answer that, Traci!;-) ) Anyway, WI went well, down another pound, so I was happy with that!

I may have to stay away from boards while all the hoopla goes on in anticipation so I dont have a pity party!

All workouts completed today... I'm fried and VERY happy next week is a recovery week. Tomorrow is Yoga, Sunday Cardio Kicks, then alternating some full body days with ypga/pilates all week.... The X round two starts April 2nd!}( Bring it on! Summers already here in Houston.:7

Amy, I have our room reserved at the Fairfield. I didn't realize that you had to also reserve your room immediately, but HeatherB of the Shrinking Violets thread, bless her heart, has stayed on my tail about this and called me up to make sure I knew right where to call and I've put in a request that our room be next door to hers. She's an amazing lady.

Hey Ladies
Just Wanted to pop in right quick and wish everybody a great weekend! And to everybody who is going on the RT,I'm sooo Jealous:p ,Have a safe and fun time!
 
Just a quick check in I haven't fallen off the wagon or anything. Yesterday I rode my bike for an hour, and in an effort to expand my workout options I broke out some videos I never quite incorporated into my routine. Christy Taylors Solid gold step, this one I just haven't put the time into learning. Turbo Jam's Totally tubular something. Both, of which were fun but I would never use them because they don't seem like enough of a workout compared to Cathe. But, because of being inspired by Traci to mix and match I decided to do 'em. I think their gonna be fun. Turbo Jam is way fun, but it's only like 30 minutes in length. This week I have been way too heavy on the aerobic workout and somewhat neglecting of strength. Next week I'll probably try and shift that. As soon as Tax season is over I'll be done with working my extra job and can get back into more of a focus on my workouts. Nicer weather will help that too! The bike ride was fantastic!! Today I did a butts and gutts timesaver, I'm hoping to get a little more in but we'll see.
