WOW! Look at those gorgeous DVD's!

Anne, do you mean enlarge Cathe's pictures or the DVD pictures?

Either way, you can highlight them, press copy. Then in an open Windows document, press paste. Then from the document, highlight what you want and send it to a floppy. Go to a photo place, pick the picture you want and have it enlarged.
I just discovered this option. I'm like a kid that just discovered how great an icecream cone. is..... POSTER TIME at my house. LOL

Hi Jo and Deb!

Two of my favorite girls in one place! :)

Thanks for the encouragement on my workout ambitions, both of you.

Jo, you may be wondering what Deb means about my tailbone. :) I fell off my step (that looks just as stupid in print as it feels) and badly sprained my ankle and landed very hard on my tailbone last Thursday. I'm happy to report that my ankle is much improved. It's still swollen but not nearly as much, and the bruising looks like it's trying to clear out. I can put weight on it comfortably and can even rotate it without any pain at all, just a little not-surprising stiffness. Yesterday afternoon I managed to get a Ryka over my Ace wrap and sock, and with that setup (my foot looked like a cube on the end of my leg) I was able to do all of CTX UB Split with no problems, even the standing back work. I was very careful about distributing my weight and not leaning into or on that ankle. I think it'll be a few more days before I can do cardio and maybe even a couple of weeks before I dare try anything with propulsion, but later this afternoon after I take Alex to a doctor's appointment I might try 5 minutes on my elliptical and/or my recumbent bike and see how it reacts. Keep your fingers crossed! ;-)

The recumbent bike might be an issue because of my &%^%! tailbone. I am NOT happy to tell ya that my tailbone may actually be broken or chipped or something, because I discovered when I did CTX chest that it hurt sharply and A LOT to roll back on it. That was a shockeroo, let me tell ya. But I don't have discomfort in any other position, so for the time being I can modify my way around it while it heals. For example, when rolling down or up onto the step for prone work, I just paused the tape for a second and kinda rolled up or down kind of sideways on one hip. Slow, but it works. I also found to my relief (and surprise) that abs work is comfortable except for lower body crunches -- that "C" shape must pull on it -- but I can do just lower body lifts keeping the upper body on the floor. Just about the only abs exercise I couldn't do right now would be those roll-backs and roll-ups variations (you know, the ones that Cathe does with a stability ball or a med ball or nothing at all). And of course, I can't do pikes or planks because of my ankle. Oh darn. ;-)

So not all bad news from the Idiot Injured ward, and I'm plugging away. Hope all's well with you two pretty gals! Jo, it's really nice to "see" you back here! :)

RE: Wanda, thank you sweetie!

Kathy,
I even fell down on said behind, while doing kickboxing, when there was not a single solitary step in sight! LOL
My husband cringes when I'm lifting heavy weights. He says:"One of these days I'm gonna come home and find you passed out on the floor from you hitting yourself in the head with one of those weights." :)
I am close to the "accident prone" profile. LOL

Hang in there. I have found a great thing for muscle and joint type pain...Stopain. I found it at Walgreens. My husband fell off a barn roof (who is accident prone now? hahah) and I was afraid he broke his ankle as it was so black and blue. We didn't think he would be able to walk for awhile. But I sprayed him down with this Stopain and he was up and working the next day. Even the black and blue bruises healed faster. I love this stuff. I think it works better than the Sportscream at least on my injuries.
:)

Back from Replicators?

Seeing the pictures on the home page....Does that mean they are back from the replicators???? And now they are going through a quality check?? Oh, I hope!!

I"m not seeing the new videos on the front page, I've refreshed my screen and even logged off and back on. What is everyone seeing and where?

RE: Hi Jo and Deb!

Kathy! Oh my gosh! I have had sprained ankles before so I feel for you! I actually sprained one so bad one time I was on crutches for two weeks - my ankle was huge and black and blue! (I stepped in a gopher hole while running across a field - another story :)) Anyway, make sure you let it heel before jumping too much. The tailbone thing doesn't sound so good either. Man oh man not a great way to start your new year!

Good to "see" you too! :) Heal quickly my friend!
Jo
