I found this link on youtube, it's just audio, but I wonder if he really feels this way. Cause one, I would think Obama would watch his mouth (maybe I'm overreacting, NOT THAT KANYE DIDN'T DESERVE IT!) and two...if this is real and Kayne heard the PRESIDENT SAY THAT HE'S A JACKASS....then I'd feel really stupid if I were him...hahaaa!

He did! Don't get me wrong, I like Obama, but I think it made him sound a little immature when he said that. But I also know he is only human, too. :)
 
I think it's hysterical!!! Could you imagine being called a name by the PRESIDENT!!! (even if you deserved it, lol). He said this during an interview, but it was supposed to be off the record. Oops!
 
I know Obama is probably going to get some bad press about calling someone a jackass... but.... i heard it on the radio on the way home from a long stressful day at work and it totally cracked me up!

Yes, he really did. It gave me a good chuckle too, & also helped me see the guy isn't the automaton he appears when he knows he's on the public stage. Yes, it was supposed to be off the record, but someone on the set tweeted (cannot believe I'm using that verb) immediately. I don't think it was the reporter though.

That came out 2 days ago I think. There was some mention of it, but I guess w/everything else that's going on in national politics there hasn't been much of a stir.

It probably would have gotten more mention if Bush called someone a "Tool". :eek:
 
Lol, what an eloquent man he was/is!!! Ha! Love the Biden quote!

Can't stand Bush by the way, never could. I actually met him in person (he came to my school) when he was "candidating" (yeah, I know it's not a word, but it seems fitting for "Dubya"). Thought he was a smug little man then and still do.

Well, you know how I feel about George Jr. I like his dad though. Didn't agree w/most of his policies, but he seems like such a nice man. I bet he's like the best grandpa ever.
 
Yep, Obama really called Kanye a jackass. The interview was not supposed to be taped at that point. From what I understand one network's rep (ABC) overheard the comment because they share some type of internet equipment. He "tweeted" about it and the rest is history! I am from the camp that even though someone is President, they still have an opinion. Good for President Obama for actually saying what is on his mind!

Couldn't agree with you more! The President is human just like the rest of us. He made a comment on a current issue that was supposedly off the record; he can't go watching his back everytime he opens his mouth! I'm actually impressed his reaction was that tactful, considering mine was full of obsceneties and a lot of yelling lol.

Hopefully this is exactly what Kanye needed to hear to knock him off his self-appointed pedestal!!

He talks too much sometimes, but I'd feel comfortable if he had to answer that 3 am phone call if something should happen to O.

OK, OK! I'm not posting my true feelings about her out of respect for my Republican friends. ;)

That said, Biden def. has a severe case of foot-in-mouth syndrome. :p

Indeed he does. I think his wife, Jill, is like that also. Recall her interview with Oprah when she accidentally said Obama offered her husband other positions besides VP? Could also be a rookie mistake.
