WOW...Boot Camp just kicked my Booty!!

Ok today was the first time I did this one...and let me tell ya it ROCKED!! As I've stated before I've done P90X and during a couple of those workouts (Plyo and Chest & Back to be specific) I've finished feeling rather nauseous :-( :-( ...like I had just worked as hard as I possibly could have. I have to say I haven't had that feeling since starting Cathe...until Boot Camp!! I thought I was going to hurl after finishing that thing...and all I could think of was the rotation Cathe made up where she has you doing that thing TWICE :eek: :eek: :eek: :eek: ?!?! Whoever can do that beast two times in a row deserves a couple free DVD's, Cathe's treat :7 :7 !! Can't wait to do that one again...but I think I'd have to be institutionalized if I thought I wanted to do it again RIGHT NOW :D .

Isn't it awesome though? I love how a "new to you" workout really packs a punch. Yeah, I would hold off from twice in a row until at least you don't want to hurl at the first go round ;)

Isn't it great? I did this workout this morning. This workout used to really kick my butt but it's not as hard to me now since getting in even better shape using the Hardcore series (and adding interval training at least once a week), but it still makes me breathe and I have more fun doing it now that I'm in better shape for it (I used to dread doing it because of the squat thrust thingies)! But you won't get me to do it twice in a row. Unless I was guaranteed I'd drop five pounds within a few hours of doing it! :p
 
I LOVE BC! :) I did this one on Saturday, after not having done it for at least 2 or 3 months and I have some nice DOMS going on! I agree with you about the "having-to-hurl" thing, though...I had that feeling after doing the terminator squat-thrust climbers!! I always forget just how hard those things are!!!
 
Those terminator things are CRAZY HARD!!! I'm anxious to do it again...I'm usually not a big fan of the circuit style workouts, but that one I really liked.

That's funny you mention BC! I did it twice on Saturday, for the first time!! I put my laundry in the dryer in between the 2 workouts, though, so I did get a little break.

Honestly, the second time through wasn't all that different!! I did use lighter weights on a lot of the cycles for both times through. It's fun, since she's up there saying "you can do anything for a minute!" and she's RIGHT!! :p
 
Amy you go girl!!!! I would be so impressed with myself if I could do that thing twice in a row...maybe one day many, many, many, many days from now:7 :7 !! Keep up the good work!!

I did Bootcamp for the first time last night. What a killer workout! I could not do those crazy "terminator" moves worth a hoot! I was doing something but not sure what it looked like. My husband was at his computer across the room and just sat there in amazment watching Cathe and the crew keep going and going and going.... (I had stopped to catch my breath) :) Anyway, it was tough and I can't wait to do it again!
 
I did this one before I had my DD and decided to put it back in the rotation for Sunday. I had to be picked up off the floor by my DH after I finished. My clothes were soaked and I was thinking about checking myself into a mental ward after doing that workout.
With all that said....I LOVE IT!!!!!!!
Look forward to Sunday (yeah right, ok I want to hide under the covers on Sunday and join the I hate cardio group!)
