Would U be upset

OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOh yes, I would be VERY upset! I have no problem getting along without him, though. I would definitely have chatted up some people and had a great time, and then put him in the dog house when we got home.

Oh I'd be mad. I have a rule and DH knows that "I don't do strangers." I try really hard to make small talk but I am usually painfully shy (unless it is about fitness or dogs :) )

It is hard for DH because he is a social butterly. So I remind him when we go places to PLEASE not leave me alone for extended periods of time.

My DH had a class reunion this past summer. I knew he would have fun catching up with everyone and that I would be unbelievably bored. I only knew 2 other spouses. Around 11 pm I told him I was leaving and that he could get himself home. Inconsiderate dumba$$ didn't even think of walking me to the car, in a desolate parking garage, none the less.

The next morning, I woke up feeling great and free (the kids were at the grandparents), so I took off for the gym, with no cell phone }( .

When I got home he was nearly sick with worry because he didn't know where I was--thought someone abducted me from the parking garage! Served him right for being such an a$$, and he admitted it!

Anne,

In 1998, my boyfriend (now dh) & I went to HIS friend wedding reception..ok. My dh's friend is Chinese. No I am not prejudice. But goofy walked away, telling me he'll be right back. So now I'm at this reception with the MAJORITY speaking chinese. Dh does not show up until, what felt like, forever. Then when I addressed him with it, he got mad with me and said, "why didn't you mingle?". Mingle with WHO, I can't even sign much less speak chinese x(.

You have every right to be upset. Even if you are not the type to mingle with strangers (nothing wrong with that at all), biting the bullet and doing so anyway may have felt less uncomfortable than sitting there...that is what I have learned. Regaurdless, he never should have left you sitting there unless he had to pee.

Tell him the next time he pulls a stunt like that, then he can find you at the bar...and eventually dancing on it wearing a sign that says "I'm "his" wife" (replace "his" with DH's name).
