hi cathe, i know your busy but i had a question about my routine or anyone else who would like to chime in. im happy with the size in both my upper and lower body. i now wish to lean out and cut up a bit. i know diet has a lot to do with this but i'm wondering what my lifting routine should be. i was thinking of this
monday: circuit or full body
tuesday: cardio
wednesday: lower body
thursday: cardio
friday: circuit or full body (whichever type i didn't do on monday)
saturday: cardio
i like a little more emphasis on my lower body and i don't feel like full body routines target the lower like they do the upper body. what do you think?

You may be right. I sometime feel that circuit w/o do not work the muscle hard enough or maybe my weights are too light. I usually pick one day to do a solid upper bod and/or lower bod training with DVDs like, PUB, PLB, MM, MIS, PH, etc. These DVDs also have premixes for the lower bod only.

If you're looking for a good lower body workout, I really like Cathe's Butts & Guts DVD. The premix is great on it too-- it really works the lower half.
