I have written the same because I did not see this. Tomorrow is the dreamed day and my day cathe maraton. I have to be in my job during all the morning without internet but when I come back home al 2:30 PM I will run inside these forums to see the updates. I can not wait. I know I said today is going to be my rest day but I have to do something.Maybe SJP. Have fun.

I am taking a step class tonight but hopefully the soreness from last night's powerflex class will have died down by thenx( !!! I am so fried right now}(

Ok I have a dilemma and need a little help making a choice....I am preordering one more dvd, the kickbox max because unfortunately at this time can't preorder the whole enchilada and I want to order one dvd (because of the free shipping)but I can't decide, should I get Terminator or SB/SJP?? Eventually I know I will have both and then some but what would all of you suggest I order first?? My primary goal is blasting bodyfat but I also want more muscle definition...Help:)!!!!
 
Hello All! Did a major cardio this morning as a sort of penance for my indulgent day yesterday. Had lunch at a pub with an old friend yesterday, :9 :9 :eek: x( :7 :7 pretty much sums it up!

Mish moshed big time this a.m., SB warm up and combo 1, cardio only HSTA, step only MI and finally SB combo 3 and Blast. Took about 70 minutes and was a heart thumping sweat fest.

I wish I could help you spend your money Sandy but my SPJ & SB are videos so I don't know much about the premixes and such. I really like Terminator though, lots of opps for mixing it up and my guess (although it is just a guess) is that it is more challenging than the other choice. (Don't you just love CK Sales??!!)

Well, I just love Terminator!
Today once again I just could not remove myself from the elliptical, so I had no time left for the planned S&H shoulders, so I did CX shoulders instead plus SJP abs. I really like that one a lot! Gotta run to work now, Mari
 
Today I did SB with all the blasts! Then I did the abs from SJP.
Mari, this was the first time I did that ab section on its own, and I really liked it.

Now if I can just stop yelling at Cathe during that 3rd blast I will be just fine..
 
I did Slow & Heavy/Triceps and Biceps this morning.

Good Morning,

I did PUB this morning and will run 4 miles during my luch hour. I was supposed to run last night but, it was raining very hard so I ended up going to a spinning class.

I did Cardio Kicks this morning before work. I slept quite a bit past my normal 4:30 a.m. wakeup time, so I didn't have time for any extras.

To answer the poster about which to buy next: SJP/SB or the Terminators, my gut reaction was to say get The Terminator DVD. However, if I were to add up all the times I did a Terminator workout over the last six months vs. all the times I did SJP/SB (or one of its many premixes), SJP/SB would come out the winner. By a lot.

Hi all, I did PUB shoulders only, then did PLB standing legwork only, then abs off of PSSL&A!:D I think my problem might be soy so today I did not have my normal smoothie for breakfast/after workout, because it has soy protein in it and after eating a low carb chocolate bar yesterday that had soy crisps in it I had a rumbling stomach and gas. So I think it is milk and soy. So today no smoothie to see if my hypothesis proves itself or not.:D I had a banana after my workout instead.

I am doing my NordicTrack for 45 minutes(5.5 miles) and about 45 minutes of Pilates. And as always..... walking the dog!;-) Susan
 
I agree with Shelbygirl - the Terminator is a great DVD but the workouts are a bit longer - most run about 1hr and 10 minutes with no premixes ( at least I don't remember any) but it does have chapters. So I too have to go with SB/SJP - I do this workout much more often and it is so much fun! And, there are different premixes so you can pick from several depending on your time and needs for the day.

Anyway, today I did Muscle Endurance. After reading the "water" thread, I am really trying to increase my intake. I was sweating profusely during ME which I normally don't do. It must mean that I was dehydrated - never occurred to me-DUH!?!

Much like a few others - this is my first presale and it is so exciting!!! I figure that if those last 5 pounds don't come of before I get the Hardcore series, they certainly will after.:) }( :)

Evening all,

I really admire you girls for sticking to your w/o routines. I unfortunately can't get my butt out of bed at 5:30AM anymore. Not since my Summer holiday. Got a lot of stress to deal with since then, so that could have something to do with it, but no excuses, the alarm goes of, I contemplate getting up, then I just don't get up. I do run my 5K's though, cause I do that straight after work/before dinner or midmornings on the weekends for my long runs. So no strength training for over a week now. OK, I'm, done whining:)

Well just had dinner... about to have dessert :eek:

Did a 5K run with son no. 1. While running we were playing a game, cause he wanted to know what's for dinner and I had to concentrate on my breathing, my arm swing and my leg turnover. So I played "2 letter word, sounds like...." :). Midway, we each went a different direction to see who'd win (I knew it wasn't me ofcourse, but a mum can try right?) :)

Anyways, ran in 33:33min. And if you think about it, when I started running again after my knee injury (which was mid september) it took me over 38min. to cover the distance. That's progress for you :)

Hello everyone:

Today in Chicago was supposed to be cloudy with a chance of rain, but there isnt a cloud in the sky. I think that I may take this opportunity to go for a run later in the day or I will do IMAX 1. I usually do only IMAX 2, but I may try something different today. I also did a full body weight circuit, and 30 minutes of abs from Ab Hits. Anybody else out there just love the Max Int Strength Abs? I sometimes do three sets of these alone because I enjoy them so much.

Sandy, I have to agree with the people who suggest SB/SJP over Terminator simply because I use the SB/SJP workouts much more frequently than the Terminators. The Terminators work you hard, no doubt, but they also use three of the workouts from the Intensity Series extensively. Since I typically do each of those workouts independently, I typically don't want to do a Terminator in the same week; I like variety. The SB/SJP premixes are fantabulous - there is soooooo much choice! You can have a light day, or a very intense day, depending on your preference. And the weight routine from SJP is very challenging, especially given that it is part of a circuit workout. However, if you don't already have BootCamp, Cardio & Weights, or IMAX2, then the Terminator would be an excellent choice; very intense!!

Conni - if you can yell at Cathe during SB Blast #3, then you're not working hard enough LOL!!! Right when Cathe says "Are you still feeling your body?" at the start of the third challenge section, I pretty much want to yell "NO!!!", but I can't. I'm too busy trying to get oxygen back into my legs!

Dutchie - it's frustrating when you feel you're letting yourself down, isn't it? Perhaps you need to stop expecting yourself to get up at 5:30am for a little while. Stop setting that alarm clock, and just let yourself rest. You might begin to miss the weight training in a few days or so, and then you can start back slowly (with your favourite workout, something easy, etc.).

This morning I did PowerMax and PUB abs. Tomorrow I'm torn between doing the Pyramid Bonus Combo, or SuperSets. Any votes? Which should I do? I have an hour maximum.

I can't believe how many people replied to my post about "Why do you workout?" I'd best go read all the responses; should be interesting!

Hey everyone!! Hope everyone is having a great day:) Today I did legs from the premix of HSTA but went heavier and took a minute break in between and on the last step ups since it was back to back I did deadlifts then I went hiking down the street in the woods with hills for about 45 minutes.

Wendy I am glad that you are experiences with your food to find out what it might be that is upsetting your stomach.

Now that the sun is shining I might go outside and sit on my deck.

If you want intensity, I think that is better you order the terminator dvd. The gaunlet and viper have weight exercises and with the imax extreme you will have a great cardio workout.I love the SB/SJP dvd but is it not as intense as the terminator.If you have the IS except the terminator I recommend buy the dvd with SB/SJP because the three dvd of the IS have lot of premixes you can use. Anyway I am a terminator junkie.It is a difficult option.

My workout for the day is done.I have done the 90 premix with the step and hi/low that mix SB and SJP. I did not want to exercise today because tomorrow is my cathe maraton but I could not avoid it.See you tomorrow. :) :)

Thanks everyone for your input! I appreciate it:) It looks like SB/SJP is the clear winner here:7 :+ While I crave intensity, I do have the entire IS so it would probably make better sense for now to get SB/SJP. But I just had to ask because I know you guys know just how incredibly difficult picking JUST one Cathe dvd can be}( :7

I'll be placing my order tonight and I can't wait...woo hoo:7!!!
 
I just finished my 4.5 mile run and I feel great. The course around UCLA (this is where I work) is very hilly, but since I started doing ME and PLB the hills just fly by. I love it!
