Workout Mishaps :o

Years ago I was running on a track at a gym and totally biffed it and my walkman went flying into a million pieces. There were LOTS of people on the track. Luckily they were helpful people. Then I was running with my Rottie in a neighborhood we had just moved into and she crossed over in front of me and tripped me and down I went. Then I was running with my male Rottie in another new neighborhood and he crossed over in front of me and tripped me and CABOOM!!! on a gravel road. Ouch, ouch, ouch. I tore my running pants and the skin off my leg! And of course, being the klutz that I am, I fall every few years on the ice (just did it about a month ago so hopefully I'm good for awhile). :)

When I first had clipless pedals on my road bike, I pulled over onto some gravel and fell with my feet still in the pedals and my bike up in the air. I got myself upright and then fell over AGAIN with my feet STILL in the pedals. This was all on a busy road, but luckily it was quite early in the morning. I'm a dork!

Just a couple of days ago while doing RS on an 8 inch platform I tried to jump with both feet onto my step, but only hit the outside edge. The step went airborne, smacked me in my right shin and I went tumbling to the ground. I was just so glad nobody was home...I would have definitely been red with embarrassment. I now have this lovely boo boo on my right shin in memory.

LOL and ouch at most of these. I've tripped on the step several times, falling on my butt. Happened just yesterday. Luckily, I've not been injured from any of said falls. And just as luckily, no one was around to see.

Me doing cardio IS a mishap. Truly, I stumble and trip all over the place when I try to do step. He!!, I can barely manage grapevines in floor aerobics.

Nope, the swelling is making it look longer}( ....now I just have to get up enough nerve to whack the other leg so they are even....hehehe.

Robin FYI, while doing walking lunges yesterday I discovered my legs must have gotten longer. Formerly, I could get 7 walking lunges across the basement, yesterday only 6.}(

My latest w/o mishap - the entire pilates workout! I am hilariously trying to get that teaser down, or should I say up, perfectly.

Kelly....ouch!! Seriously hope you're okay. I don't use the weights with that exercise for that reason. I just know that would happen to me. Seriously though, I hope you're okay.

My "bit it hard" moment happened to me when doing pikes at my gym. I fell off the ball (with momentum) and rolled across the hardwood floor and made a loud crashing noise straight into the mirror. I was okay...just REALLY embarassed.
