Working out on concrete floor...

I currently workout in our livingroom but I would like to have more room for doing Cathe workouts. We have a large room we added on last year but has a concrete floor so I've not worked out in there but now I'm thinking I would like to despite the concrete so...what should I put on the floor to minimize injuries from exercising on a hard surface like concrete? I need something 'portable' as this is our diningroom/familyroom so I want something I can put away every day.

My toddler has this floor rug made of rubber pieces. They look like puzzle pieces that you can put together. You can buy them in bunches/sets and cover a whole floor if you like. I've found bigger ones, in plain black and at the automotive section of Wal-Mart. I've jumped on my son's rug before, and because it's small and was set on carpet, it would slip under my feet. I guess you could cover a wall-to-wall area in your room to keep the whole thing from slipping.

Thanks alot. I am on the web site checking them out! Now I just have to pick a color:p

Those anti-fatigue mats are available with edges for the best price at a Sam's Club. They can come in colors or grey pieces. I purchased 8 squares at $16/pack with edges there. That was the best deal I found. I love them for reducing the impact!
