Will winter never end? A whiny post.........

Big DEEP inhale....and exhale...AHHH! It's a refreshing 7 degrees today with wind 22 mph making it feel like -14 degress (said the weather .com site).

Max, I was trapped on route 78 heading west for SIX hours last night! I never want to go into the state of NJ again!!!! lol

MOVE TO ARIZONA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.....88 degrees Friday, not a cloud in the sky. I have wicked tan lines already!!!:)

Oh wait! Everybody is!!!:)

Soon I could be joining you ladies, moving to Illinois! Unless I can convince hubby otherwise! After living here all my life, that'll be weather shock, huh???:)

I really feel for you guys. Hope the sun comes out soon....

Oh, the sun is out! It just apparently gave you all it's warmth and saved just the brightness for us:) Still, it's nice to see it.

I moved into a new house at the end of September and am excited to see if there is any kind of a spring garden. Tulips, daffodils, crocuses.... you know, the stuff dreams are made of;)

I love winter and snow!!

Okay...I'm one of those annoying skier people who gets really happy when it snows in April (or May). That's why I live in Vermont. }( }(

The ski areas here are finally getting some decent snowfall and skier visits.

DH is getting sick of winter. He's perfectly happy to see the snow stay in mountains.

I hate winter! It's 13 degrees today. And we don't expect it to get above the low 30's in the foreseeable future. UGH!

Like Janice, I am pretty delighted to be in Arizona right now. It's so beautiful! I must say, I don't believe you cold weather kids are whiny at all. Thirteen degrees! Seven! That's painful to read! Yes, it'll be 11 in the shade and no shade in a few months but I'll take that over winter woes any day. In 18 years away from Michigan, I have become a weenie!

I whine and complain, but on the other hand, I really don't think I could live in a climate that was hot all the time either. I like my change of seasons. I lived in Italy and England for a number of years, and although it never got really cold, I had a hard time dealing with the constant rain from October to April. You west coast people can probably identify with that.

*ducking*

high 80's yesterday.. supposed to be a couple of degrees warmer today and tomorrow...

*running away*

Janice and Desert- When I do KPC tomorrow I will be thinking of ya in front of me!!!! I don't want to hear anymore of 80 degrees somewhere other than here! I am soooooo jealous, can't ya tell??? I did make a bet with my DD that it would hit 80 degrees here in the next 2 weeks. Where I live in Virginia, it can be cold as heck one day and then hot the next this time of the year so I am optimistic. If I lose, I have to make a huge breakfast for everyone...blueberry muffins, homefries, eggs, bacon and pancakes. Uh, I will only be eating my cheerios as usual, thank you very much!!!;-)

Six hours on 78??? I would have been hyserically crying. Fortunately I only live 20 minutes away from my office and can take local streets. Routes 17 and 3 were absolutely horrific yesterday too.

I am so ready for spring too! I am fed up with the cold weather and I rarely feel this way as I try to appreciate each season but ENOUGH already.

I've been hearing snow for tomorrow.x(

The New York subways were a nightmare yesterday. Endless delays, packed cars. The subways seem to do badly in rain, snow or wind. But annoying as it was, I'd rather be here than in NJ. I still remember the fear that would grip me when I had to get into the car when there was ice or snow on the ground when I lived in NJ. I'm a nervous driver. You have my sympathies.

and now they're predicting more snow for CT on Friday night...ENOUGH ALREADY!!!!!
