without doing floorwork for my legs???? I am currently (started this week) doing an MIS/cardio rotation (MIS for strength days, alternate with cathe or firm cardio). I definetly feel my legs after doing MIS, but my inner thighs are my problem area, and I am worried that I will not be working my inner thighs enough, without doing concentrated inner thigh floorwork (though the plies in this tape are killer - is that enough??) Should I substitute an MIS day for a strength vid that includes floorwork??? Thanks in advance!

When I first started doing squats, I always felt them in my adductors. In fact, my inner thighs would be so sore I walked funny! I feel my inner thighs with regular squats as much as with plies. One thing you can do is really focus in on that muscle and squeeze the inner thighs as you come up. I do some floor work but not much and definitely not weekly. I have never felt as fif my inner thighs were weaker than my other muscles working out this way. I hope this helps!

That is what I wanted to hear! I have always thought that I really had to get on the floor to work my inner thighs, I am glad to hear that I can work them just as well with squats and plies. I do definetly feelmy muscles the next day, since using MIS!

Personally, I need the extra work for my inner thighs, but I don't do floor work. I have a fit ball and use it like the inner thigh machines at the gym. I do it twice a week along with leg extentions and leg curls added to the stuff on the Cathe tapes.
 
Hi Bonne! Everyone responds differently so I suggest doing the rotation that you mention for three weeks. At that point evaluate how your inner thighs are doing. If you feel that you need more for you inner thighs, simply add on inner thigh exercises to this rotation rather than feeling you have to do a whole floorwork series. Good luck!
