Who wants to chat?

Lori/Missy,

I am thinking I will need bars...MAYBE! I got a blonde hair blue eyed babe and I might need a gun too just to fire off to scare them sucka's!

Lori,

Your comment didn't bother me. LOL! DD has it under control. We talk so much about consequences over and over and over and over again and DD wants to save herself for her hubby.

Missy,

I never climbed out windows. Just walked thru the front door. LOL!

Charlotte~~

Oh my gosh, so we are both teenage moms to daughters, yours in 9 mine is 8. I had Mariah when I was 17, got pregnant at 16. My mom worked so much, and we weren't allowed to do anything when she wasn't home, and she was NEVER home, so I got to do nothing. I am the oldest, so I got all the responsibility of taking care of the younger kids but never got to do anything else. I rebelled big time. When I got pregnant, I moved into a maternity home. Oh, this is such a long story......Dan would never be allowed to sleep at our house, though. Not unless we were married, but that is not why we got married, I promise! Is your DD dad still in the picture, if you don't mind me asking. If it is too nosy, just tell me.

Missy

I just checked and it's starting to rain here, too. Nothing big, yet...but tomorrow is going to be sweater weather!!! It's supposed to be pretty chilly, from what I hear.

Gosh, lots of Indiana Catheites on here!

That is great Charlotte! I never had any talks with my parents, I think it would have helped alot to know that they cared and thought that I was important and worth waiting for. Fortunately, I do not have to make the same mistakes as my mother did, even though she did the best she could.

Missy

Well, you all...I've got to go start getting ready for bed. I know it's only 8:30, but I get up super early to exercise before work...and I didn't sleep well last night. I'm pooped! Happy chatting.

So Missy, how old are you now? I just turned 27.I am hoping that b/c I am youg she will feel like she can open up to me.And that may not be the case.So far we have had good luck, she hasn't been any trouble at all but who knows what the future will bring?
My story is long to.I did grow up in a wonderful loving home so that wasn't a problem. My parents were hurt but they still stood by me.
Lori:)

It has been sprinkling up north of Indy. I want it to rain so the ground will be soft for my spring bulbs!

My sister is going to IU school of nursing IUPUI. This is her last semester, so she is really excited! I love studying with her. do you work in a hospital yet?

Get lots of rest, Catwoman! See you tomorrow!

Missy

ETA goodnight, Lori!

almost 26. I think that no matter what age you are, you are not cool to your kids. I was watching Star Wars with Layne, my middle son, and I fast-forwarded the part where Anakin and Padme kiss because I thought that he thought it would be gross. He said he wanted to watch it, he just doesn't want to watch me and Dan kiss because we are old and that is gross. I was only 23 at the time. ;( I still try, though.
Missy

I'm in my junior year, and we've just started our clinicals this semster. I have two hospital days a week, one on a medical-surgical floor, and the other alternating between pediatrics and OB. It's exciting! I bet your sister is having a great time at IUPUI (and I can believe she's excited to be so close to graduating -- I look forward to that!). Bloomington students used to spend their last year in Indy, but now we're able to do the whole program in Bloomington, which is convenient for me (I have a husband and family here, so I'm glad I don't have to commute).

I'm hoping to get some spring bulbs in the ground soon, too!

Allison

She has been working in the NICU for a while, maybe three years now, and she has to do a rotation in L&D before she graduates. It is the happiest ward in the hospital!!! you're going to stay in Bloomington when you graduate, I assume? I really like IU campus. It is very neat! It is a good thing that you get to stay down there. It is a LONG cummute!
Now it is pouring!
What do you think you will be planting?

Missy

Well, Allison, I am going to bed. I am tired! It was great to meet you! Hopefully I will see you around a lot more in between studying!!! :7

Missy

Missy,

It was good to chat, and fun to find out that you're so nearby! Your sister's experience sounds great. I'm a real beginner in terms of clinicals, but I have to say the OB/L&D settings really "speak" to me.

I have a coupon for free daffodil bulbs from a local greenhouse, so I'll definitely plant those (my daughter wants a huge spread of daffodils...we'll see!), and I'm thinking about crocuses, too. I also have some mums in pots that I should get into the ground for next fall. How about you?

Thanks for talking, and enjoy our fall-like Thursday!
Allison

>Charlotte, what do you have growing in your garden?

>Missy

At the moment...WEEDS! Nothing in my veggie garden but tomatoe plants that are barely producing anymore matoes.

Charlotte~~
