DH is at a friends house killing him....in Halo 2. I am putting the kids down in 15 minutos. Just wondering if there was anyone else out there with some free time and wanted to chat. :) I am leaving the house a mess and will clean it up tomorrow because I don't feel like doing anything right now :p

So, what is going on with you guys? Anyone on tonight?

Im home alone:-( Probably not for long though.DH is out at a friends house.They are working on some business plans and it seems like whenever I am home...he is gone. So I sort of gave him the dirty eye when he got out of the car.He usually knows what that means but I also told him that I was going to go to bed...so he may be out even later....OH WHO KNOWS!:)
Nope, nothing going on here.Just flicking through the channels but I don't think Wed night is a good night for t.v.

I'm in Indianapolis, waiting for the thunderstorm to get here (I think it will be more like a thundershower, though...very little lightning and thunder). I'm also listening to my new CD set - La Femme Nikita's 4 CD set (from the TV series that was on USA a few years back - that was my all-time favorite TV show EVER). So, I finally found a CD set for ALL the music for all the seasons (1 - 5) and I'm listening to it right now. Like any CD, it's got some good songs and some that I could care less about. I was also settling down to do a little writing on my book, but thought I'd check into Cathe.com first.
 
The only thing that I watch is Law and Order, which is on tonight, but too late for my sleepyhead so I tivo it. I know Dan. If he says he will home at 9, like tonight, he will be home by 3.

DH is away on business as usual so I am up right now until DD boyfriend goes home which should be any minute now. There is no way I will go to sleep with a strange boy in my house. So me is quite sleepy at the moment and my patience growing very dim by the secondsx( x(

Yup, that storm will be over here in Virginia by morning I would think. So much for any outdoor activity. Not that I had any plan. For me it will be nice not to feel rush working out. I have nothing else planned and usually I do.

Well, right now he is currently unemployed, which is killing him.But him and a buddy of his have been working on something for the last month and it is drawing to an end.It will be do or die now.We should know more this week so hopefully he won't be unemployed for long:) In the meantime...we are o.k I thought we were gonna find it harder then we do.
DH is the same. The other night he left for 1/2 hour and he showed up 3 hours later.Its a good thing I am not a jealous wife.I would think he is up to something!:)
 
Whitestown - it is just north of Zionsville. My uncle lives in Greenwood. We used to live in Fishers, but traffic is aweful and we were really tired of the Carmel-Fishers atmosphere. I like the quiet country! :D

Cahrlotte, as this weather have anything to do with the hurricanes lately? I don't think I would fall asleep just yet either, LOL!:) When my mom fell asleep, I got pregante!:)
 
This weather is coming from the west. Nothing to do with the hurricane. In fact, remnants of Rita didn't even give us much rain at all, if any. It is very dry here and if it doesn't rain soon, I will have to water everything. I hate dragging out the hose everywhere. I have 4 100 ft hoses cuz my yard is big.

Uh Lori, you trying to cause me to have bad dreams or something. That pregnant stuff is some scary stuff for this mama.

I know what you mean! I should be jealous, but I know what a nerd he is and noone else could possibly put up with it! :+ He is a computer geek so he is constantly reading Maximum PC and talking about the latest Pentium and blah blah blah blah blah. Fortunately, we never have to worry about work because, I am REALLY going to brag here, he is AWESOME. In high school, he won the state competition in technology and his store, where he is the service manager, is rated #8 in all of the Indianapolis and surrounding areas for service. :7 :7 :7 :7 :7 :7 :7 We are very lucky that he has that job, because I have no degree and if something happened to him, we would be up chocolate creek without a popsicle stick.

I got pregante when I was 16 :eek: Just a week short of 17 actually, (like that sounds any better!):) And so far, it is the only child I have had and may ever have.DH and I were trying for a while but we found out that it won't be as easy as we thought it would be.And now I wonder, "is that why I had a child at such a young age"?
Now she is 9 and I know I am gonna have some heartattacks comming my way.
When you start posting pic's and you are getting all wrinkley...then we will put the pieces of the puzzle together!

Charlotte, don't be frightened. My mom was really too busy to watch after me. You are a great mom. You go to your daughters work, you let her spend time with friends and monitor her time with boys. My mom never did that stuff. She was too busy working and she also had a terrible relationship with my father, who she divorced, and with step dad #2, who she was married to when I got pregnant. Wow, did I just apply for a Springer episode?

You climbed out of the window? My mom wouldn't leave us alone.Even after I had my daugther she would stay awake until she knew that we were asleep.He would stay over, but he slept downstairs and I was upstairs.

Rita dumped rain on us in Indy ALL DAY on Sunday!!! I got up at 6:30am to work out, and it started raining right after I got up. It didn't stop raining until around 9:00 or so that night. ALL DAY!!! Did I mention that.

But, hey, I like a rainy day like that once in a while. It makes you not feel so bad about staying in and watching football. GO COLTS!!! We actually have a defense this year!!! Yippee! I have a Colts sweatshirt that says "Hard Hit Cafe" on it, and now I can wear it with pride! Too bad our offense is meeting up with some tough pass defenses this year...it's taking our passing game away...but we've got the Edge who is picking up the pieces in his running game!
(No, I'm not a big Colts fan or anything -- :D )

I know where Whitestown is. How cool that you're that close. I work in Carmel, live in Greenwood (how 'bout that rush hour drive, huh?). We're going to move to Carmel next Spring, though, as the drive is getting VERY old! And I hear you about that traffic in Fishers! I stay far away from that place whenever I can.

I'm sitting here writing a paper for my statistics class for nursing school. Note: My first degree is in English!!! So...not having too much fun tonight (and flipping over to Cathe occasionally to ease the pain...)!
