Who has the best body? (besides Cathe)

Hi,
I am trying to find a picture of a woman with a great(in shape) body. My husband thinks I look great now and don't need to work out. My personal trainer also has asked me to bring in a picture of what I feel is the "ideal body type". It's kind of like a goal.

I did some seaches for "females and bodybuilding" but most of these women are just too big. I could never get that big without the use of steriods. The giant breast implants turned me off too. They just don't look natural.

So, I am looking for a woman smaller framed woman with nice ab definition, cut shoulders and arms, toned legs and no fake boobs. This is because my goals are to increase the muscle size in my arms and shoulders, have really defined abs and tone my upper thighs.

Any names of fitness instructors or female bodybuilders would be helpful and then I'll look on devilfinder.com for pictures. Thanks!

What about Monica Brandt or Jenn Hendershot? They are featured in Oxygen mag quite often and I personally don't think they look too big or that they might take steroids.
Debbie in OH

I would suggest looking in Oxygen mag.

Or you can try following some of the picture trails from women who post here - I can think of five off the top of my head who are in awesome shape!

Cheers,
marie

Karen Voight comes to mind. But I think she might have had implants, not sure......also Mia Finnegan, but I'm pretty sure she has fake boobs.

You can not emulate someone else's body. If you want to shape your own body that comes from weight lifting to define whatever muscles you wish to bring out more (I know you already know this). But ultimately it also depends on your genetics. Just state your "goals" to your pt & work it!! HTH, Kathy:D

Thanks everyone for the help finding pictures. All the women are beautiful and you can see the time and work they have put into their bodies. I never knew there were so many fitness competitions. Now I'm curious about that too. :p

I don't want you to think I'm trying to look like anyone else, I know my boobs will always be smaller and I'll have to work on "the junk in my trunk". It's just kind of hard to explain what I'd like my body to look like to others. My stomach is flat but I want definition! These are the things my husband doesn't understand, a picture helps.

A good personal trainer will not ask you to do that. He will help you to enhance what you have and make you more fit and toned. He/she will help you clean up your eating. It is unrealistic and arrogant of any trainer to think he/she can turn you into a body type that you simply aren't and cannot be. Some people will never be a size 4, and some people can't build muscle and definition like others can and won't be bigger than a size 4 no matter how much they eat. A good trainer knows that. A more realistic goal for a trainer to help you achieve is....do you want to build strength, or muscle endurance? Do you want to train to be a faster runner, or do you want to be able to do 20 pushups on your toes? Even focusing on toning your body is a great goal. If he asked you to do bring a picture of what you think the ideal body type is he doesn't sound very knowledgable in this field. I would get a new trainer.

I could not agree with Missy more! Their are some pretty beautiful bodies out there with credit going to strength training, perfect level of cardio, stretching and a clean diet but there are some things none of that can change! You can't spot reduce and you can't create a frame you don't have. Example...I have no shape through my torso (or lack of torso). I could workout 8 hours a day and nothing is going to create that "hour glass".

Get a new trainer. Set realistic goals for your body type.

Quick question...why does your husband need to understand?

First I would like to say ---You are a very beautiful person. What a great picture.

I am suprised a trainer would tell you to bring in a picture of what you would like to look like. Based on his own education and knowledge, he or she should be able to guide you the areas you wish to tone up, etc. All of us are different. In our physical make-ups and also how our bodies respond to diet and exercise. WE are all individuals. Most of us-- well I would say all of us here are doing what we do for LIFE. To achieve the level where we live healthy, happy, fit lives. Take for example the roadtrip. From all the pictures we can see many different faces & looks. They spent the weekend hooking with someone that inspires us to achieve the best we can be. And that means some of us are more toned....slimmer..taller...bulky or not and some of us are still a work in progress.

Id stick with WHO you are---- and get a different trainer who can guide you and inspire you. You are beautiful-- and should be proud of WHO you are.

Thats my humble-- very humble opinion.

Just say you'd like to be the best version of yourself!! :) No picture necessary there, 'cept maybe a mental one. :)

One thing that was reinforced to me during Cathe's road trip was this: fitness looks different on different people. There were lots of examples of VERY obviously fit people. Who is to say one kind of fitness look is better than another? I say, just work really hard and one day, you'll look in the mirror and realize you've made some great progress.
And...I think everyone should work out, not just those who need to make improvements.
Just a thought!
