I am trying hard to recognize my "triggers" when it comes to turning to the sweets. With me, it is when someone gets my ire up, or when I'm just plain stressed out. Today my DD, whose sick at home from school with a cold, started making me crazy about something, and I went right for the bowl of homemade chocolate chip cookies. After breaking off a piece, I came over to the computer and posted this, hoping to "decompress" and divert my attention. I can't believe how much eating can be connected to your emotional state of mind.
